Cody's POV

'How is it fair that I am striped of my title? I didn't even hurt her physically?' I asked my wolf, Sam.

'We did hurt her though.' Sam replied.

'Not physically.' I kept saying.

'No we did worse. I am ashamed. We knew better.' Sam replied. I could feel him bowing his head and holding his tail between his legs.

'We were following orders. We didn't beat her though.'

'We could have went against the order. Colin was the future alpha. His father, our alpha has always treated others kindly.'

It was my turn to bow my head in shame. Sam was right. 'Sam is it to late to say sorry?' I asked

He lifted his head and shook it saying 'it might be but let's try. we would feel better.'

I nodded my head and headed off to find Esarosa.

It took me awhile to find her. I found her in the garden talking with princess Aeliana.

'They have been spending a lot of time together.' Sam said. He seemed at aww.

'Sam do you think they are mates?'

'Well look how they are with each other. Just like us with Julia.'

I nodded. This was a good thing. Esarosa would leave with the princess and than all this would blow over.

'Cody. We came to say sorry. I will take over and do it. I am ashamed with our actions.'

'Ok. Ok.' I said walking over to the girls. I got closer and both girls stood up and faced me. They were standing side by side and they were ready to fight.

I quickly dropped to my knees and bowed. "Please forgive me Esarosa." I felt Sam nudge me. " I mean please forgive us. My wolf, Sam, is ashamed of our actions."

I looked up at both girls. I saw them look at each other and than Esarosa replied "Cody you and Sam are forgiven. I know you were following orders."

I stood up and was surprised when Esarosa hugged me. I heard a very low growl. I saw princess Aeliana was glaring at me. I heard Sam chuckle 'yup they are mates. Slowly back our ass up.'

I did as Sam said and slowly backed away "I mean what I said. Sam and I are sorry."

"Esarosa accepted your apology. I however don't forgive your actions. You are going to have to prove your self. Show us that you have changed. Only than will I trust you." princess Aeliana said.

She was stressing the word "I" every time she said it.

I nodded my head. "I will prove to you both. I am sorry."

I turned around and walked away. I had to talk to the alpha. He would know how I could show Esarosa I really am sorry.

Colin's POV

I was furious. How dare Esarosa have me stripped of my title. I should have killed her. Obviously torturing the abomination wasn't enough. I don't care that her mother saved my father. Mother hahaha the vampire princess was weak. She should have drank her dry when she found her.

I was busy stomping around my room when the door opened.

I turned and looked who had barged in. It was my mother and she looks angry.

"I have arranged it for your lashings to happen today. Get it all over with."

"Mother this is ridiculous and you know it." I said raising my voice slightly.

She walked over to me and slapped me across my face. "How dare you speak to me that way." She said threw clenched teeth.

I didn't think I simply reacted and I slapped my mother back. Than I took off running.

This was all Esarosa's fault.

Cody's pov

I was heading up to the pack house when Colin almost ran me over. I managed to jump out of the way but just barely.

I got back up and was surprised when the luna ran straight into me. Her and I both went toppling back down the stairs.

She landed on me with her head on my chest. I heard a very deep angry growl.

I felt the luna get up and than saw her reach her hand down to me. "I am sorry Cody." she said as she helped me back up to my feet.

"I am sorry Luna I should have moved." I said bowing my head in respect. I noticed alpha Johnson was glaring out into the yard. I looked at the luna again and noticed a bruise forming on her cheek.

"Luna Minx please forgive me. You are injured because of me." I quickly dropped to my knees and bowed my head.

"What. No stand up Cody you didn't hurt me. You are bleeding though." She said

I reached my hand up to the back of head and felt the blood there.

"You must head to the doctor." Alpha Johnson said. He had looked at the wound. I noticed he didn't seem mad at me at all.

"Alpha Johnson I would like to talk to you." I said.

"Not right now. I have other matters to deal with." He said his tone of voice said that was final. I bowed and ran off to go see the doctor.
