My mom and I had been waiting outside of the office for twenty minutes when an older man came up to us.

"Dr. Lowell. The alpha has asked me to take a look at your daughter. Something about sever bruises." the man addressed my mother.

"Dr. Miguel. This is my daughter Esarosa." my mother said while putting her arm on my shoulder.

Dr. Miguel nodded and said to me. "I am dr. Miguel." He said holdin his hand out to me.

I smiled and shook his hand "it's nice to meet you."

"Can you guys follow me to the medical wing and I will check those bruises."

My mom and I both nodded and followed Dr. Miguel.

The medical wing wasn't very far from alpha Johnson's office.

"Esarosa do you want your mother here with you for the exam or do you want her to wait outside?" Dr. Miguel asked me.

"With me please." I replied quietly. I found this whole situation uncomfortable. I would have preferred not to have the exam at all. Nobody needed to know the extent of my bruises or my scars.

Dr. Miguel nodded his head and lead us into a small exam room. "Hop up on the bed here please." he said patting the bed with his one hand as he grabbed a stethoscope with the other.

I hopped up onto the edge of the bed and sat there twiddling my thumbs. What was I supposed to do? my mom was the one who always looked after me. And she has seen my old scars. She hasn't seen my new ones yet.

"Ok Esarosa. I first want to hear your heart and check your lungs is that ok with you?" he asked me.

"Umm. Sure." I said

He checked both and than wrote something down on a sheet of paper. Than he looked at me again and asked "can I look at your ears?"

I simply nodded my head. My mother sat quietly watching.

Dr. Miguel checked my ears and write something down again. Than he sighed and when he looked at me I saw a sadness in his eyes "Esarosa please show me your bruises."

I really didn't want to show him. But I knew I couldn't go against the alphas request. Alpha Johnson wanted to know how badly I was hurt. I sighed and nodded my head. than I lifted my shirt up slightly and turned around.

I heard two gasps. And knew my mother now knew all the new wounds I had been given.

I felt someone lightly touch my back. Than I felt another light touch also on my back. I turned my head and saw my mother and dr. Miguel both examining the wounds.

It was my mother who spoke first and I could hear the anger in her voice "when was this done to you? and this could only have been done with silver."

I didn't get a chance to answer because dr. Miguel spoke "I agree with you these marks here are made with something laced with silver."

"Dr. Lowell I think I should call alpha Johnson here to see. He will not like this."

My mother sighed but agreed.

"Esarosa is there any other marks we should know about?" my mother asked me. I had put my shirt down and was turned around so I was sitting with my feet dangling off the edge of the bed.

I fidgeted. I really didn't want to show them my legs or my arms.   

Luckily I didn't have to show anyone right away because alpha Johnson entered the exam room I was in.  He looked really upset and slightly angry.

"Esarosa please turn and show the alpha your back." My mother said to me. 

I did as she asked and than I heard a growl.  I put my shirt back down and spun around to face everyone in the room. I guess the fear was evident on my face because alpha Johnson quickly softened his features. But I could tell he was very angry still.

"Who did this to?" he asked me. I could tell he was trying to keep his control. His wolf was angry as well.

I looked down at the floor which only caused the alpha to growl again. I quickly looked up. "Who did this to you?" he asked me once again.

I took a deep breath and answered "Colin and Kevin."

I watched as alpha Johnson's eyes turned a very dark black and he started to shake almost violently. I shrank back I knew his wolf was about to take over.

Than I heard my mother whisper "I am sorry." As alpha Johnson collapsed to the floor.

"Quickly dr. Miguel we have to put chains on him. his wolf has taken over and he will kill his son for what he has done."

Dr. Miguel nodded and fetched some chains from a cabinet and quickly helped my mom tie him to a chair. when they finished dr. Miguel looked at my mother "what did you do to him?" he asked shock still clearly in his face.

"Wolves-bane." My mother replied shrugging her shoulders. Than she also said "it's not enough to kill. Only temporarily make you pass out. See he is already coming to. And please call luna Minx she is the only one who he will listen to."

I looked over at the alpha and sure enough he was coming to. Not even two seconds later the luna came rushing in. She saw her mate chained to a chair but didn't question anyone. She simply rushed over and started whispering soothing words to him.
