The goddess waved her hand a looking glass appeared. "This mirror will show you the true way that Esarosa became Alpha. It was her destiny to become a princess. She change the coarse of her destiny by becoming an alpha."

Queen Elena stood beside the beautiful goddess and looked into the mirror. At first she didn't see anything but as she stared into it images began to form.

--Elena saw a small wolf pup that must be Monique.
She heard Esarosa ask the puppy "Are you supposed to be here?"
Monique looked sad.
But again Elena heard Esarosa ask "Do they always argue?"
"Me? why?" Esarosa asked and that's when Queen Elena realized that Esarosa and Monique where mind linked. --

Queen Elena looked at the goddess. "Why can't I hear Monique's thoughts? and why is Esarosa speaking out loud?"

"Esarosa's wolf was suppressed. But because they are sisters the link never went away." The goddess replied.

--Queen Elena looked back at the mirror and watched as the door flew open and a deep growl sounded threw out the small cell like room. A man stood there. He had dark hair almost black and tanned coloured skin. The only thing off about him was his eyes. They were orange like Esarosa's.

"I told you to stay out of here." He said growling at Monique. And than Esarosa stood in front of Monique and said "why can't she be in here dad?"

"I am not your father. You are an abomination and you are dead." He replied as his eyes changing into a darker orange.

Esarosa smiled. "Doesn't look like I am dead." She said mockingly.

The man growled and than lunged at Esarosa.

Monique looked panicked and soon Rebecca was in the room also. She growled and than said "Let him go."

"Why?"Esarosa asked.

"Killing him will only seal your fate." Rebecca replied.

"He threatened Monique. And than attacked me. I am not in the wrong."

Elena watched as Rebecca looked towards the man that was pinned by his throat. He was in wolf form. What surprised the queen was Esarosa wasn't She was in her human form.

"Josh submit. Our daughter is stronger and faster than us. She always has been." Rebecca said to the wolf. She was pleading to the beta to submit. --

After Rebecca said his name. Queen Elena suddenly remembered him coming to the castle one night. He had talked with Jaxson and than Jaxson remained away for a few days.

"What are you remembering?" the goddess asked calmly.

"I remember Josh coming to the castle late one night." Queen Elena said still in thought. The mirror continued to show images but she was no longer paying attention to them.

"Yes. He was there." The goddess replied.

"I had been listening in the shadows. Josh had told my mate that his wife and him had a daughter. Her name was
Emily. She was a white wolf. I heard shuffling of papers and than I heard mumbled words. After that I don't know. Footsteps had come closer to me so I walked threw the shadows to my chambers and went into a restless sleep." Than Queen Elena's eyes grew wide. "I dreamt that there will be a war and the only saviours where my daughter and her mate and the metal elemental and my daughters mates's sister."

"Yes. Yes. And do you remember what caused the war?" the goddess asked.

Queen Elena shook her head no.

"That's because Esarosa changed the path. She is now the alpha. The war won't occur. Not because of the Rosewood pack."

Queen Elena was confused. "What do you mean?"

"The war will occur now because of you." the goddess said bluntly.

Chapter nineteen

Queen Elena's POV

I had a lot to think about. 'Was this new war really my fault? Should I have actually voted for my mates death?' I could help but allow my thoughts to wander and soon I felt like I was floating.

"Come with me Elena. I will show you how it all came too be." The Demigoddess said as she took my hand. The mirror I had been holding vanished and than she took me to the beginning.

Sexton looked over the room once again and than Alpha John appeared in the room.

"You are here to hear your punishment. Do you have anything to say first in your defence." Sexton asked.

Alpha John looked around the room and than his eyes landed back on the huge muscular man who had spoke to him earlier.

"I ask only of one thing." Alpha John said quietly.

"What do ask?"

"I would like to ask for forgiveness."

Sexton looked at a guard near the door and motioned for him to come closer. The guard came closer and Sexton asked him to go and get Esarosa and Aeliana.

Before the guard turned to leave. Alpha John said "and Monique and Kiera. And my mate Tonya" the guard looked at Sexton for permission. The demigod nodded and the guard left to fetch the said people.

Sexton took the opportunity to mind link his sister. 'Has Queen Elena seen what this has all cost?'

'Not yet. I am taking her to the begining. Remember. The alpha can not die. The vampire princess will die than the war will occur.' Sexton's sister replied.

'He has requested to see her. To ask for all of their forgiveness.'

'Allow it. It might change the coarse. He never showed remorse before.'

Sexton closed the link when the doors to the great hall opened and in walked all the woman that Alpha John asked to see.

The Alpha turned slowly and looked towards the door. Tears started to spill down his cheeks. How could he ask for their forgiveness? would they forgive him?

Kiera looked at the man who had tried to kill her. He looked different. He looked tired and sad.

Kiera looked at the giant muscled man standing just behind the other man. This man radiated power but Kiera wasn't afraid of him. She decided to walk up to the pathetic looking man and give him a hug. She had a feeling that was what was needed.

Kiera let go of Monique's hand and ran up to the man and wrapped her arms around his neck. He had dropped to his knees when she had came runnin towards him.

Alpha John looked at the small girl. She was similar in looks to her parents. She wrapped her arms around his neck and said. "I forgive you." Than she backed slowly away.

Monique came and held Kiera's  hand. She glared at alpha John but didn't say anything. She respected her sisters. They should speak first.

Esarosa came over and stood beside Monique. "I don't forgive you for attacking children and than falsely submitting to me and my mate. However. I don't wish for your death."

Aeliana also came closer and said. "I believe my father was able to corrupt you. I also don't forgive you. But like Esarosa I don't wish your death."

Tonya came closer. She didn't say anything. Blood tears streamed down her face.  She turned towards all the other supernatural beings. "I don't want my mate sentenced to death. But as a princess I understand there are consequences to your actions." She paused as she looked directly towards her parents. "I only ask one thing. May I have one more day with my mate before his punishment is handed out?"

The hall thought about what the vampire princess asked. Monique took the opportunity to look directly at the man in front of her. "I don't forgive you either. You attacked Kiera. And than you insulted my sisters and our pack. But like everyone else. I don't want your death."

The hall had heard every word. And erupted into a lot of chatter. Nobody knew exactly what to say or what to do. The vampire king and Queen wanted their daughter to be happy. They already had one who lost her mate.

I have changed a couple things so now
Monique is nine. Tan coloured wolf. Is a ghost wolf.

Kiera is six. Haven't picked a colour for her wolf. She is a metal elemental and a shadow wolf.

Samantha (Sam) is sixteen. Not a ghost wolf. Haven't decided on her wolfs colour. 

Queen Elena is a fortune/wolf. With shadow abilities because King Jaxson is a shadow wolf.
