Daniel looked at his brother. "Why?" he asked.

"Daniel calm down and tell me what you are talking about." Jaxson replied.

"Why didn't you tell me Steven was died and that he had a daughter?" Daniel asked as he looked at the small girl that Jaxson had set down.

"This isn't the place to discuss this Daniel." Jaxson said raising his tone of voice slightly.

Daniel growled at his brother. "I honestly don't care about protocol and what should be said or not."

King Jaxson growled at his brother causing a lot of whimpering from the room. "don't disrespect me brother." His growled out.

That caused Daniel to growl back "it's not disrespectful to you. Just the way you seem to hide things."

"What is all the growling about?" Aeliana asked walking into the kitchen with Esarosa behind her.

Than Aeliana looked pained and so did her mother. "Steven." Aeliana whispered.

Everyone turned though and looked at her. "I felt it too." Elena said as she went over to her daughter to comfort her.

Daniel turned to his older brother "what have you done?"

Keira looked up at her grandpa "you killed my father?" she asked quietly with tears running down her cheek.

King Jaxson stood up tall and allowed his words to be laced with power. "What had too be done. Steven was crazy and seeked power. He would have killed us all especially with the help of his daughter."

Kiera looked up at her grandfather. Tears were in her eyes. It was hard to believe the girl was only three.

"What exactly needed to be done?" Aeliana asked anger clear in her words.

Esarosa laid a hand on her loves shoulder silently trying to calm her.
It didn't work instead Esarosa became angered threw their contact. She felt te pain and the loss. Just like earlier.

"Now now Aeliana calm down. You already know what we are talking about." Her father said.

"You didn't?" Queen Elena said so softly that not everyone heard her.

King Jaxson turned and looked at his wife. "I am sorry." Was all he said as he watched the tears flow down his wife's face. He went to go over to her and comfort her but she held up her hands. "Don't even bother. I am angry at you." And with those word the queen turned and stomped all the way out of the kitchen. She was heard heading up the stairs.

Aeliana growled. She turned to Monique "can you please go and take Kiera outside."

Monique quickly gathered up Kiera and left the house. We all could feel the tension in the room and why have two innocent kids be in the middle.

"Samantha you can leave also." Aeliana said. She was trying really hard to not get mad at anyone who didn't deserve it.

Samantha took a set of keys down and said. "I will drive Monique and Keira to the park maybe take a couple other kids."

"Thank you." Esarosa said quietly to her sister. Sam nodded and headed out.

Ron, Rob and Jensen also took their leave. They didn't like the tension either. 'Can you please make sure nobody comes in here' Esarosa mind linked Jensen. 'Yes ma'am.'

"Now that everyone is gone. What the h*ll. you had my brother killed." Aeliana said once the room was cleared of everyone but her father, uncle and Esarosa.

Rebecca had quietly followed the queen too make sure she would be ok.

King Jaxson turned to his daughter. "You know it needed to be done. He did try and kill Esarosa. Or have you forgotten that?"

Aeliana growled at her father. "I haven't forgotten." She said threw clenched teeth.

"Than why are you angry?"

That really made Aeliana angry and Esarosa answered the question "he was her brother. Her other half. The half I couldn't fill. A connection that was always there."

King Jaxson turned on Esarosa "you have no say in this."

Now it was Esarosa's turn to growl. What they all never expected was a deeper growl. A more feral. Wild sound.

"What do you think you are doing?" king Jaxson said. He didn't even turn to look toward the noise.

Queen Elena's POV

I was furious. No beyond furious. My wolf was on the verge of taking over and I was afraid to allow her out.

I managed to partially calm her.

'He killed our son.' My wolf said. (I can't remember what I called her wolf. So I am going to call her. Shayla.)

'I know Shayla.' Was all I replied.

Than I heard the deep feral growl from downstairs.

"What was that?" Rebecca asked me.

"That would be Aeliana. She has lost control." I said as I turned to run down the stairs and calm my daughter.

I heard Rebecca following me but she was staying back a bit.

I ran in to the room and sure enough. Aeliana was in her wolf form. Though Onyx looked different. More feral. Her normal black fur now had streaks of white and her eyes were blood red. There wasn't even any sign of her pupils. 'I wonder?' I asked myself.

Onyx turned her head and growled at Rebecca and I. We both stopped and bowed our heads. This was no time to test who was stronger.

"Aeliana. It's mom." I said as I slowly came closer.

She growled and than it was Esarosa who talked. "I am no longer Aeliana. I am Onyx."

I looked at Esarosa and she seemed to be in some kind of trance. Her eyes where foggy and glossed over.

"I am sorry, Onyx. Please forgive me." I said bowing to her once again.

Instead of replying she turned back to her father. Another growl escaped her mouth.

"I repeat. What do you think you are doing?" Jaxson asked her as he turned around to face our daughter.

"You killed my brother. Than you said my mate doesn't have the right to speak. And now you show me no respect." Esarosa answered.

I saw Jaxson look at Esarosa and he growled. "I said before. You have no right to speak on this matter."

Onyx growled again. The sound sounding more wild than before. She was loosing control. A blood lust was forming.

"My love. Stop this. Can't you see what is happening? our daughter is talking threw her connection with Esarosa." I said trying to calm the situation.

Onyx turned her head and looked at me. She barred her teeth but didn't growl. I understood the meaning well. 'Stay out of this.' I heard threw mind link.

I simply nodded my head and remained quiet. Onyx tuned back towards her father and waited for him to say something else.

"I don't want to talk to her. She is not apart of this family." He said. I heard the disgust in his voice.

I knew he hated the fact that Aeliana's mate was not royalty. He hated the fact that his daughter was apart of a prophecy he didn't like. A combining of shadow and ghost was, in his opinion, an abomination. He felt the same way about Kiera. Nobody should have that much power. Nobody should be stronger than him.

'That was why.' I said to Shayla.

'What was, why? She asked confused by statement.

'Steven knew. He knew his father has gone crazy.' I said as all the evidence fell into place.

Than I felt Shayla come to an understanding. 'That's why we can't control our emotions.' she said.

'I believe so. Our mate has gone power hungry. just like our son.'

'We must stop this. Aeliana will make a terrible mistake killing her father.' Shayla said as we watched Onyx stalk closer to Jaxson.

I did really think much. I quickly ran in front of him and faced Onyx.

I held up my hands as Esarosa said "mom please move. This does not have to involve you."

"But it does involve me. Please Onyx listen. Than you can continue if you don't like what I say."

Onyx stopped advancing and sat on her haunches. Though the fur on the back of her neck was still all bristled up.

"I am listening." Esarosa replied as she too came closer. She placed a hand on Onyx and stood there petting her lightly.

"First you are right to be angry. Your father never should have killed your brother." I heard Onyx growl lowly.
I quickly continued speaking "second he should never have said Esarosa wasn't apart of this family. As your mate she is family." I paused as once again a growl was heard.

I turned to my love and scolded him "enough. This doesn't have to end in a fight." I said out loud. 'You know she will win.' I said in our mind link.

He frowned but didn't say anything. I looked a Daniel and said in mind link 'do you have silver cuffs?' he nodded his head. 'Good. Slowly come towards Jaxson and cuff him.'

'What about Onyx? and her eyes. What is wrong with them?' Daniel asked. Concern crossing his features.

I looked at Jaxson again and kissed him. Than I turned back to my daughter. 'She has vampire blood in her. Her lust for vengeance and the fact that Onyx has full control. Is making her eyes red.' I replied to Daniel.

He didn't say anything. But I noticed Onyx was getting antsy again. "Please Onyx. Give Aeliana control again. We don't want blood shed."

"I want blood for what he has done."

"I know. But this is not the way."

Than I saw Onyx's eyes follow movement. She didn't growl or do anything. Instead she focused back on me.

"Why? why can't I have his blood?" Esarosa said pointing a finger at Jaxson.

"Now is not the time. Not when you are so angry. Please Onyx allow Aeliana and Esarosa control of their bodies." I pleaded once more.

She growled. But it was more a warning than a threat. I held up my hands at the same time that Jaxson cursed. I heard the cuffs close and turned in time to see Daniel and Jennie holding a limp Jaxson.

I frowned at his still form. "Only a sedative." Jennie said.

I was surprised to see her. The last I ha heard she was with her family dealing with a problem.

I nodded at Jennie and tuned back to Onyx. "Please." I said as I bowed.

Than I felt the power shift and heard Esarosa cough. Than she growled lowly.

"What was that for?" she asked Aeliana angrily.

"I am sorry. I was so angry I couldn't stop. please forgive me." She said bowing down to her mate.

Esarosa wrapped her arms around Aeliana and drew her up towards her. Than she kissed her. A deep passionate kiss. It didn't last long though as both girls seemed to remember that they weren't alone.

They broke the kiss and blushed as they turned to look at the small group. Than they both said "sorry."

I shook my head. "Don't be sorry. You have a right to be angry. I am happy that you guys both are strong enough to listen to reason."

Aeliana looked at her father and low growl escaping her. "Why?" she asked as Esarosa wrapped one arm around her waist.

"I am afraid you won't like the answer to that dear." I said. I was suddenly feeling ashamed and partly to blame.

"This is not your fault. Elena." Jennie said. I turned and gave her a small smile. "Isn't it?"

Tonya's Pov

I was happy my sister was visiting but I hated the reason behind it. The two of us spent four days inside my mates mind trying to figure out what was happening. Why did John go crazy?

Than we found what we were looking for. A memory

"I want you to attack my daughters pack." a male voice said into the receiver.

"Why your daughter?" John asked man.

"Because she is mated to another woman. And to top it all off the other woman isn't even royalty." The man said sounding really furious.

John growled at the mention of the daughter being a lesbian. He was so against it. He felt it was only allowed to be a man and a woman period.

"I also want you to catch a small girl. She is three. She isn't able to shift yet as far as I know. She is special do not harm her badly." The man continued to say.

"Yes King Jaxson. When should this occur?"

"Soon. Before valentine day."

Than the line went dead. The conversation was over.

I broke the connection and looked at my sister. She looked angry and ready to kill.

"Calm Jennie. We can't save them unless we hurry. The attack has already occurred. But what is stopping King Jaxson from planning another?"

"We should search you mates mind a bit more. See if the king has called him recently."

I nodded and once again dived into my mates mind. I could see people's thoughts and memories. Though I couldn't control them or alter them. I was great at hypnotizing though and used it often to get information. My sister was the healer. That was her main "gift"

"You failed. You allowed a weakling child to stop you."

"Weakling? you never said there was more than one ghost wolf. How can I fight something I can't see?" John said angrily into the phone.

"Doesn't matter. I now know that the little girl can shift. That is knowledge I didn't have."

"Ya and she has wicked right hook."

That caused the other man too laugh. Jennie and I realized the man was once again King Jaxson.

"Still pathetic. We are going to have to try again soon. In two weeks assemble your men once again and attack. By than I should have my daughter away from here and back at the castle."

"Alright. In two weeks." Than he hung up. We watched his memory as he got up and walked to a wall safe hidden behind a portrait of his parents.

He opened the safe and took out some files. He sat down and started to read them.

"We have to read those files." Jennie said.

I nodded and we walked to my mates office. We located the picture and took it down. Than I closed my eyes and watched my husband open the safe. I saw the combination clearly. I opened my eyes and than opened the safe.

I reached in took out all the files. I handed a couple to Jennie and started to read. The files were all marked classified.
