At the Cove ~

Hiccup's P.O.V.

"Hey Bud! I hope your hungry, cause I brought breakfast! Also I've finished your tail! " I shouted as I knocked down the basket of fish ,I brought, with my foot. Toothless came bounding towards me, then jumped on me and started to lick my face. 

"Toothless you know that doesn't wash out! " I giggled as I slid out of his grasp. 

"Yeah, that's why I love doing it! " he warbled at me. 

"How about we finish our breakfast and let's go flying! " I suggested to him. Instantly as if it was an instinct, he jumped off of me and ran towards the fish. I took out some bread from the other basket and sat next to my best friend as we ate our breakfast. Right after I attached the tail to him and adjusted the gears.

"Ok! We're done! Let's go! " he bowled at me. 

"Yeah, yeah! " I said as we walked towards a clearing on a high cliff. I sighed and once again checked if the tail was working fine. As I was about to mount Toothless a voice disturbed me.

"Where do you think you're going? " Astrid asked. I sighed and turned around to see the whole gang standing there so I decided to make it interesting. So I switched Toothless' tail to auto. 

"Going on a test flight. Why, do you care?" I asked smirking.

"I don't." She said defensively "just curious."

"Ok. So can I go?" I asked.

"Yeah."

"Ok see you later." I said as I flicked my helmet shut on my face and jumped backwards falling off the cliff diving into the clouds everyone was shocked and looked over the edge to see if I was fine. Toothless jumped in after me not a second later and we both were falling through the sky. Happily. 

"Whooo hooo!" I screamed as the breeze hit my face through my mask. I saw the clouds dissolve and the ocean expand. I stuck my hands through the loops on my legs and pulled activate my flight suit, Toothless opened his wings and we were both gliding through the air. he sot multiple plasma blast under me, not to harm me of course. then when we were getting too far Toothless dived underneath me and caught me as I attached my foot to the holder and turned auto off for the tail. We swooped back over through the clouds over to the gang who stood there starring in amazement. I felt really smug.

"What." I asked playful "worried?" I smirked as I looked at Astrid, who was speechless. Just like everyone else. "Well I better pack. See ya!" I said as I mounted Toothless and flew to Berk leaving them there gobsmacked. 

"That was fun! " I stated.

"Give me a heads up next time! But it was funny seeing their faces! " Toothless replied.

"Yeah, it was pure gold! " we both laughed and landed near my house.

Short I know! Sorry! *Dodges an axe* Hey, but seriously I was busy. I'll post tomorrows one a little earlier and a lot longer. Happy? I was listen to the song on the top when I was editing, and i love it! Anyways...
