Hiccup's P.O.V.

I was asleep. Dreaming peaceful thoughts in my mind. Thoughts about lots of different things. My mother. Astrid. How Toothless must be feeling. After all we've been through he must know that I'd forgive him just like that.

Now that I've thought about it... I owe my life to Toothless. He has saved me countless of times and I truly can never pay him back. However, that's just how we do things. We have each other's backs through thick and thin! I would have it no other way.

As my mind slid away from the thought of my best friend, I started to think about Astrid. She's amazing. She's beautiful. She's courageous. She's perfect. She lies in my arm this very moment. Her head resting on my shoulder, and her golden, soft blonde hair streaming over her back. But...what is she to me?

Is she my girlfriend? No. Yes? I mean we've only had one kiss. It was the best kiss I've ever had, nonetheless it was still a kiss. Our first kiss. Sitting on this cliff in night as the darkness enclosed on us. Sending us to a deep slumber. It must mean something?

Also, another thing I've thought about. Sleep. I haven't gotten a lot of it since coming home from Berk. Everything just seemed way more complicated with them here. I gues I just have to get use to the fact that there here.

Now the last thought my mind dreads the adventure further into. My mother. I didn't know her very well, yet I can't stop thinking about her. Now I know she's alive and with another bewilder-beast. It shouldn't be too hard to find her. Right? I know I'll go ask Dawn! Yes that's it! She knows Everything! She'll understand—

I was cut off from my thoughts and wide awake by a bucket of a very familiar substance and a dragon.

"TOOTHLESS!" I screamed probably heard through the entire island.

2 in one day for me missing 2 weeks! I'll try to get a third one in there for you guys!

Also who is Dawn? Is she competition? Nope. I'll just tell you there. But! Any LGBTQ+ haters must leave the book 'cause Dawn and Ashley got something going!
