Decision
Nobody's P.O.V.
"Ash... say something. Anything." Hiccup pleaded. Ashley just stood there saying nothing. She looked at him with a look of pure pleasure and excitement, however what was showing the most was confusion.
"I-I don't have the words?" was all she said. Hiccup was desperate for a reaction, of any kind. Hate. Love. Anger. Anything. She glanced up at Hiccup, completely dumbfounded. "How?" Was all she could think too say. It was Hiccup's turn to look puzzled.
"What?" Hiccup asked sitting on his bed next to her. "What do you mean?"
"I mean how do you like her after what she did to you?" Ashley said looking up at Hiccup. Hiccup found the floor very interesting all of a sudden. He concentrated at the lines of the wood that swirled around and around.
He never thought about it like that. She despised him. She hated him. She caused most of the pain in his life. But he couldn't just forget about her, no matter all the times he tried. She was stuck in his head, playing in his mind. He could see her gorgeous smile. Her beautiful loose strands of hair that fell out of her braid. At the end of the day all he could see was who she was.
"I guess— I guess I couldn't get her out of my head." Hiccup finally said looking back into her eyes. "Whenever I think about her, all the bad things she done it makes me sad. But then I see her smile, I see her laugh. Just like that. It's like nothing ever happened." Hiccup said, during him speaking a smile crept up upon his lips. Astrid was still crouched outside his room, his door still slightly open but it was a large enough gap to hear every word he said. Wow. Was all Astrid could think.
"Well, Hiccup I guess there's only one thing left to do." Ashley said, "You should tell her." She said calmly. Hiccup looked at her as if she lost her mind. Never has he even thought of telling her. He would make an idiot of himself if he tried.
"I-I can't." Hiccup said standing up massaging his forehead, "You know that." He said helplessly. Ashley stood up next to him and placed her hands on his shoulders. She looked him in the eye, it was if she was looking into his soul.
"You have to. If she doesn't feel the same. She can fuck off, anyone who says no to you. Is a complete and utter idiot." Ashley said pulling Hiccup into a hug, full of passion. Hiccup smiled and pulled back from the hug and looked at the closest thing he could call his sister.
"Thanks Ash. I don't know where the hell I would be without you." Hiccup said laughing with her. Astrid smiled at the two, but then she realized that Ashley was walking out so she sprinted all the way to her room. She sat on the bed with her hand in her head. She turned to the door way to see Ashley standing in front of the door way, with a smug look on her face.
"Just try not to break his heart." was all she said before walking away. Astrid was so perplexed, her thoughts were soaring all across her mind. What did she mean by that? was all she could think about. Then it hit her like a Rumblehorn.
"She saw me." Astrid said, looking back over to the door way where she had just left.
