Snotlout walked back through the woods behind Hiccup and Toothless. Suddenly without warning Hiccup jumped on Toothless, but before he could fly off Snotlout grabbed his arm.

"Where are you going?" Snotlout said confused. Hiccup looked down at him before tugging his arm out of Snotlout's grasp.

"Don't worry I just forgot I have to go meet with someone. Go back to the others or go do something. I'll be back in half and hour or less." Hiccup said before shooting up into the trees vanishing into the thick white clouds that were gathering in the sky. Snotlout sighed in frustration, eventually walking back to the place he remembered to others. 

They all seemed to shift places slightly. Astrid and Ivy were both leaning against a tree opposite each other still talking while Keligin has his head lying on Ivy's lap sleeping. She was stroking and playing with his hair with one hand while her thumb was gently stroking his cheek. Shockwave and Camo were sleeping behind the tree Ivy and Keligin were against, and Stormfly was sleeping curled around the tree Astrid was leaning against her tail on her lap. Fishlegs was still reading his book quietly in the corner of the clearing, Meatlug sleeping soundly next to him. The Twins were comparing weapons with each other, Barf & Belch sleeping behind them. There seemed to be one dagger out of place. Then he remembered he had seen Hiccup with that dagger a couple times.

"Hey isn't that Hiccup's dagger?" Snotlout asked curiously as he recognised the dagger. He went and sat against a tree that was near Hookfang, who was sleeping. Ivy and Astrid's head whipped round to face him almost alarmed by his presence, before relaxing in realisation that it was just Snotlout.

"Wait did you say Hiccup's dagger?" Astrid said looking at Snotlout then at the Twins.

"How did you get that?" Ivy demanded as if it was urgent. The Twins just rolled their eyes.

"Jeez guys calm down it's just a dagger." Ruffnut said spinning it impressively on one finger.

"Yeah we found it on the ground in the hallway near the rooms we were staying in. He must have dropped it. Not a big deal." Tuffnut said calmly.

"Pass it here." Ivy said Tuffnut did so and threw the dagger at Ivy. Luckily she caught it and held it up to her eye-level examining the handle. There was a very fine threading of the Strike Class symbol imbedded on the centre of the handle, a compass on the left and a hammer on the right. "Okay he must have dropped it when walking through the hallway it's his mapping dagger, it's his favourite one so don't break it. In fact your not going to touch it again."

Astrid stretches out her hand as if saying 'can I see it' and Ivy handed it over trying not to wake her boyfriend as she stretched across the gap between them. Astrid looked down at the handed and saw the three pictures stitched finely on the handle and smiled. Hiccup definitely made this it had his name written all over it. That reminded her that she had to give him the dagger he dropped when he left with Toothless. Yes, she held onto it, he probably wouldn't want it now after all this time, but still.

"He made this, yeah?" Astrid asked smiling still examining the handle carefully tracing her fingers over the threading.  Ivy looked up from Keligin and smiled.

"Yeah. He's really good with that sort of craftsmanship." Ivy said as she ran her fingers through Keligin's hair. Astrid held her hand out handing the dagger over to Ivy but she shook her head. "Keep it. You'll probably see him first." This made Astrid blush slightly but not so much that it was noticeable. Tuffnut and Ruffnut stared at them horror.

"How come she gets to keep it!" Ruffnut said.

"I trust her to look after it more than I trust you." Ivy stated.

"Oh come on!" Tuffnut groaned loudly but Ivy made him shut up before he woke Keligin. "Fine. So Snotman what were you up too in those deep mysterious woods." Tuffnut asked as he leaned back against Barf & Belch, his sister next to him.

"Oh, I was with Hiccup. I found him there with Toothless. He had to go meet with someone though so he left."Snotlout said, he thought that it probably wasn't the best thing to mention James right now.

"Wait? You were with Hiccup?" Fishlegs said confused.

"Yeah..." Snotlout replied unsure what the big deal was. "What cant I have a chat with my cousin?" He asked rhetorically.

"What, Oh yeah. You can it's just. I just thought he didn't like you?" Fishlegs said. Snotlout looked surprised. Yeah he and Hiccup has their differences but he was still family. He wouldn't want anything bad to happen to him.

"It doesn't matter if he likes him or not." Astrid said. "There still cousins."

"Yeah. Astrid's right you know. No matter how much of a dick this guy is Hiccup's not going to let anything happen to him." Ivy said. Before Tuffnut could answer a dark shadow flew through the canopy of trees and landed dead centre of the clearing, it turned out to be Hiccup and Toothless.

Hiccup slid his helmet off, his long tousled auburn hair falling over his eyes. He quickly brushed his hand through his hair pushing it back to its "neat" state. He smiled at them all before speaking.

Hiccup's P.O.V.

"Hey guys." I said before following Toothless to where he laid down near Stormfly. I sat down and leaned against Toothless' body. "So what have you been up too?" I asked.

"Well talking about you actually." Astrid said. I looked at her but before I could say anything Astrid cut me off. "Here you go the twins found it." Astrid said quickly handing a dagger over to me.

I took and out hands brushed slightly against each other, I smiled at her and she smiled back before saying "Thanks."

I looked down at the dagger to see that it was my mapping dagger. Wait a second I swore I had that on my— oh I guess not. Must have dropped it?

"So what were you two doing with my dagger?" I asked curiously twirling the dagger between my fingers while resting my hand on my knee.

"Hey! Don't blame us! We found it just sitting there on the ground." Ruffnut said. Yep definitely dropped it, but where?

"Yeah! Maybe you shouldn't leave it in the hallway by our rooms!" Tuffnut said, causing me to freeze. I must have dropped it whilst going to see Astrid! Damn it, but still worth it. I still can't believe that we are dating, we should probably tell everyone soon. Luckily nobody noticed my slight zone out.

"Yeah... my bad." I said shrugging.

"Oh yeah and apparently you and Snotlout were catching up in the woods?" Fishlegs said. Which surprised me, how much did he say?

"Yeah, weren't we just talking about stuff before you had to go meet with someone." Snotlout said. So he didn't say anything about James. I have to thank him later.

"Yeah, we were. Sorry about ditching you back there."I apologised, I really did mean it. It was a dick move leaving him there in woods alone. Thankfully Snotlout just waved it off saying it was fine.

Then I noticed Keligin sleeping on Ivy's lap. My mind filled with prank ideas instantly, Wolf and Razor have taught me well. Ivy seemed to notice the look in my eyes.

"Don't you dare think of doing anything Haddock." She said menacingly, I immediately held my hands up in defence smirking.

"Wasn't going to do anything." I said Toothless rolled his eyes.

"Yeah right!" Toothless said.

"You were think it though." Ivy said glaring, I rolled my eyes and put my hands down, then sighed dramatically.

"Guilty." I said looking putting my head down my hands over my heart. I looked up at her my head still slightly down and smirked before sitting back up still smirking. The Gang burst into laughter causing me to laugh a bit too.

"Ugh." Ivy groaned, we didn't notice how much noise we were making and accidentally woke up Keligin.

"What happened?" Keligin said as he stirred awake. He looked up to Ivy smiling before giving her a peck on the lips then getting up and leaning against the tree. "Hiccup, hey man! When did you get here?" He asked confused causing me to smile.

"No too long ago. Sorry about waking you up man." Hiccup apologised.

"No problem." Keligin said.

"Well I should probably tell you why I left." Hiccup said moving a little closer to Astrid.

GOING TO LEAVE IT THERE BECAUSE ITS ALREADY WAY TO LONG. 1480 WORDS APPROXIMATELY. Anyways....
