It's been almost twenty hours, Natasha, Clint, and Maria were on horses riding fast in the direction that would best help them. It almost reminded the trio of the days before her 'incident' when they would all ride together and travel the world.
"as bitter as the circumstance, I can't help but remember the days when we explored for fun," Maria said.
"It's really been a while," Natasha sighed. One of her deepest regrets, when she married, was losing her ability to travel, she missed discovering the world.
"Maybe after this is all over because we will get them back," Clint was always one for optimism. "We could travel again, it is nice to show the kids the world they grow up in,"
"As much as I would love that I can't," Natasha said with a disappointed sigh. Natasha was glad her friends were here to distract her for a second or else she would have been in tears by now.
"The kingdom can live without the queen for a day Natasha," Maria said.
"But Steve can't," She finished and the group fell silent. They knew the complications of their marriage, but they also had hoped their differences would have faded away with time. Alas, they were wrongly mistaken.
"he doesn't own you, Natasha, he can't tell you what you can and can't do. If you want to travel the world you can go and travel the damn world!" Clint said.
"It's not like he ever actually allows you to do anything in the castle, if it weren't for your second kingdom which you have birthrights to, I doubt you would" Maria added.
"Steve is the father of my children, and unfortunately that is as far as our relationship has gone." She shook her head. "But we aren't here to talk about my crappy marriage,"
"Oh that is no language for a queen," Clint started trying to cheer her up, Natasha rolled her eyes.
"How did carter even get out of prison?" Maria asked. "Maybe if we knew how finding them would be very easy," As the rode, Natasha noticed a familiar object lying on the floor.
"Sharon is many things," Natasha said jumping off the horse as they came to a stop. "But smart is not one of those things," She picked up a light blue ribbon, one she gave to James when he was born. He wore it all the time under his outfits, the fact that he dropped it was a sign. "She didn't see James leave us a sign,"
"So where to now?" Clint asked. "We know we are in the right direction but where could she possibly be keeping them?" Suddenly Natasha's eyes darkened, of course, Sharon would take her kids there, the one place Natasha allowed herself to be vulnerable, the one place that haunted Natasha to this day. "I know where she's going,"

Torunn was staring out the window impatiently staring down at the many guards surrounding the castle. "Torunn," Morgan groaned in frustration, "You are thinking too loudly, you're making my head hurt." Torunn ignored the girl's remark and continued her watch on the window.
Lila, who was closer to Torunn watched her friend with concern, as she stared out the window. "Torunn what is the matter? This could be just procedure,"
"I don't think so," Torunn said finally tearing her glance away. "Aunt Pepper said Sarah would join us and she never did. James was downtown with his parents, both returned and not James. I also just saw Aunt Natasha, with your father and Aunt Maria riding away like madmen." Torunn was a nervous ranter.
"You are working yourself up, it's not like there is anything we can actually do," Morgan stated. "Even if there was something wrong, which there probably is not, we couldn't do a thing about it,"
"It's not getting out that would be an issue," Lila mumbled under her breath, causing both girls to look at her. "What?"
"Lila, listen to me very carefully." Torunn started. "Can you get us out of here without the guards noticing?"
"I mean...Yes? My father taught me how to use small places to escape my brothers, I guess it becomes a habit of mine," She said. "You know in case something happens I'd rather be safe than sorry,"
"We have been trapped here for 5 hours! You couldn't have said something earlier?" Morgan asked in frustration, which Lila shrugged.
"Are you going to show us?" Torunn asked.
"No, our parents said to stay here, we don't even know what's going down over there," Lila pointed out. "How can we even help?"
"Lilia, we are the future Avengers!" Torunn said. "We are protectors of the land when our parents retire."
"No no no, I am not! Copper is taking over for my father! I have no place in war!"
"Says who?" Morgan asked.
"Morgan you don't even want to be about of battle!" Lila said.
"Doesn't mean I can't. Yeah, I would rather invent, but I have been hanging out with my father and peter in battle! I can fight!" Morgan pointed. "I just choose not to."
"Listen... James and Sarah are gone, I know Morgan set up her technology all along the forest that will help us." Torunn started.
"Hey, how do you know about my tech? Even my parents haven't seen my newest creation."
"I saw you when I went to see James in the stables." Torunn quickly said. "It will take them forever to find them, however, we can find them faster."
"How do we know they are even in danger?"
"Because Natasha doesn't leave the castle without Steve due to his dumb rules," Torunn rolled her eyes. "Not to mention they were going really fast, this isn't some simple marriage argument, please Lila, for James and Sarah we have to do this,"
Lila sat there for a moment, she was the only one who can get them out unnoticed, but it also leads them in so much trouble. But with her friends lives on the line, she was willing to do whatever it takes to get them back.
"Okay, I'm in," Torunn smirked before turning to Morgan in a rushed way.
"Where is your most hidden but closest piece?" She asked, and Morgan thought for a second before speaking up.
"just right of the town, there is an old abandoned well, I put it in the bucket." She said and Torunn nodded as if saying doable. "If we do find them," Morgan walked to her chest that she had brought, "You guys are going to need something to fight with."
"What do you mean?"
"Well we can't very well fight in dresses, especially our royals one," Morgan pulled out new clothes for them all, however they were all connected with some sort of weird new technogly. "Let's just say I been creating the next Avengers uniforms."
"And you said you didn't want to be an Avenger," Torunn said under her breath.
"Each one is catered to each of your strength, so Lila you have a bow connected the back of your suit, Torunn yours comes with unique sword compatible only to you,"
"Like the Hammer you father gave mine?" She asked with a giant smirk.
"Of course," The girls gave morgan a thankful nodded.
"Now" Torunn turned to Lila, "How do we get out of here?"
