Author's Pov

~Flashback 6 years ago~

Yoongi was sitting in one of the compartments in the Hogwarts express.

He didn't even wait for the train to leave the station and leaned his head against the window.
After a short moment he fell asleep in the silent compartment.

A while later Jimin entered and asked if it was okay for him to stay. He tried again and again but didn't get an answer, so after some time he just sat down and did nothing but look at the boy in front of him for hours.

Yoongi eventually woke up after some time. Watching the other boy in confusion.

"What are you doing here?" He asked after a minute. "What is your name?"

"This was the only free compartment. When I came in I asked you multiple times if it was okay for me to sit down. Since you were asleep I hoped you wouldn't mind if I stayed." Jimin answered. "And my name is Park Jimin. Who are you?"

Yoongi was silent for a bit. "I am Min Yoongi." He then said.

"I am happy to meet you." Jimin told him, smiling brightly at the other.

They talked for the rest of the journey, learning more about each other. Becoming friends.

When they arrived at Hogwarts Jimin told Yoongi to wait for him so that the two could enter the Castle together.

When he went outside the compartment he ran into someone, hitting his head hard on the ground.

"Hey are you okay?" The boy he ran into asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine" Jimin answered.

"I am Taehyung by the way. Where were you heading?" The so called Taehyung said.

Jimin looked around in confusion for a bit not knowing what he wanted to do and also not sure of what he did the last hours of the train ride. He probably just slept.

"I am not sure. I think I wanted to get my suitcase." He answered.

"Me too. Let's go together then. Or do you have anyone you are waiting for?" Taehyung asked smiling.

Jimin shook his head. "Let's go."

Yoongi in the other hand just sat next to the window. Looking outside, waiting for Jimin, his new friend he met today. He was happy. He wasn't a very social person and he was glad he already found a friend in this place.

But Jimin wasn't coming back. Not after 5 minutes. Not after 10.
After about 20 minutes a teacher, who checked in the train if all students were outside, found Yoongi and took him to the castle.

Yoongi didn't think Jimin just left him there. He must have had a reason. Maybe all the students cut off his way back and he couldn't come to get Yoongi like he promised.

When they entered the Great Hall Yoongi immediatly searched for Jimin in the crowd. But when he saw him, Jimin was standing there talking and laughing with two other boys. He didn't seem to search for Yoongi. He didn't even notice the door opened.

"He already found himself some better friends." Was the only thing Yoongi could think of as he stood in the line waiting for his name to get called, so that the Sorting Hat would put him in his house.

After that Yoongi was too afraid to go talk to Jimin. Too afraid he was right and Jimin didn't want to be friends anymore.

After a week has passed Yoongi took all his courage and went to talk to Jimin.

When he saw him outside the Great Hall he called out his name.

"Jimin."

The called one turned around, looking at the boy, confused why he shouted bis name.

"Hey.", Yoongi said with a soft smile.

Jimin just got more confused. "I am sorry,.... do I know you?"

Yoongi just looked at him in disbelieve.

Then Jimins friends came walking up to the two of them.

"Hey Jimin, who is this Slytherin you are talking to.", Tae asked with a smile. "Do you know him?"

"No." Jimin answered and looked at Yoongi. "But you were about to tell me something. Can I help you?"

"He is too embarassed in front of his new friends to admit that I am his friend as well." Yoongi was thinking. "Is it because I'm a Slytherin? Is that how he really is? Is that his real self?"

"It's nothing asshole." Yoongi spat out. Turned around and just walked away. Not even looking back once.

"Am I that disgusting that the great Park Jimin doesn't want to be my friend anymore? Or was he even my friend? Maybe he just faked all that in the train so that he wouldn't have to search himself a new compartment. What a fake little bitch."

After that encounter Yoongi went back to his dorms. Crying himself to sleep that night.
