Y/n's POV

It was still nighttime and all three of us were still walking through the forest while Soxs led the way back to the base. As we were walking I opened the small wrist communicator that resembles a small watch and started narrating to pass the time.

Y/n: "Y/n Lightyear mission log stardate 407, I have landed on a Alien world, filled with strange like creatures, not only that but there is a small war going on, between the alien race called the na'vi, and the humans working a very large company"

As I was narrating the mission log, I could tell my tall guest walking behind was listening, and he's probably listening to what I'm saying.

Zakum: "What are doing?"

Turning back to look at tall blue boy. He looks down at me, confused at what I doing, maybe I should explain why.

Y/n: " I'm doing the mission log"

Zakum: "What?"

Y/n: "It's something space rangers do to help keep them focused"

He nods before I went back to finishing the mission log. Zakum was still listening as I continue talking to my communicator.

Y/n: "My mission has changed this is Y/n Lightyear over and out"

After finishing the mission log I turned off my communicator and focused on getting us out of the forest.

Timeskip

It has been almost an hour and we are getting close. I had a feeling that my alien friend was starting to get a little suspicious of me.

Y/n: "Soxs are we getting close?"

Sox: "Yes just a few more feet and we will be there"

Y/n: "Good"

Zakum: "Are your sure your feline is leading us in the right direction?"

Y/n: "Yes since he is a robot he has map of the forest so that we don't get lost"

The na'vi nods, as we kept on walking, Zakum stayed quiet for most of the walk, well who can blame him for it, like humans wanting to take his home away.

I understand what he is probably going through right now.

Y/n: "So Zakum do you mind sharing what was going on back there?"

He doesn't respond so I gave him so time.

Y/n: "It's ok, if you don't want to talk about it, that's fi-"

Zakum: "I was betrayed by my people, now I lost my home, my family, and I lost trusting my people"

Y/n: "Oh.... shit"

Zakum: "Now I'm a outcast"

The na'vi boy looks down sad, it was sad, sad to see somebody like to lose everything, and now he has nothing.

Y/n: "I understand what you must be going through"

The blue boy still kept his head down.

Y/n: "I'm an outcast as well"

Zakum looks up at me confused, probably wondering what I mean by that. How am I an outcast?

Y/n: "Back on my home world, I wasn't treated like everyone else, mostly because I was the son of two of the best space rangers that star command had, but they are gone now, ever since then nobody treated me like a I was even a human"

As I was talking Zakum listening to  my talk about my past. He probably felt sorry for me as I felt sorry for him.

Y/n: "I had no friends and the only family I had was my aunt and soxs"

Zakum: "I'm... sorry"

Y/n: "Ever since my parents disappeared, everyone was so hard on me, like if it was fault that my parents disappeared, but it wasn't my fault, they were the one that went on a mission and never came back"

Zakum stayed quiet. The young na'vi felt pity for this human.

Y/n: "It also feels like that they sent me on this mission to get rid of me"

The young ranger stops walking and looks down at the ground. Zakum starts to feel concerned for this human but mostly because he was just like him and outcast.

Y/n: "but I don't fucking care of what they think of me!"

The ranger then turns around and faces the na'vi boy. They looked into each other's eyes. The two were different heights so one had look up and the na'vi had to look down at the human.

Y/n: "I'm doing this mission whatever they like it or not because I'm not doing it for them I'm doing it because it's what my parents would do!"

Zakum: "I am sorry that you bee-"

Y/n: "NO don't apologize the past is the past, I've already moved on from the past, you and me are more alike than you know"

The na'vi boy does not disagree with the ranger. They were both the same they were both outcasts.

Sox: "Not to interrupt you guys bonding but we made it to the base"

Y/n: "Really"

Zakum: "how far?"

Sox: "Right up ahead"

We followed the small robot feline as he lead them to the base that looks completely hidden.

Plant and trees were completely covering it to make it blend in with the forest.

Y/n: "Let's get inside, I don't want to be out here any longer"

Zakum looks at the structure up and down. Turn around to see him looking at the base.

Y/n: "I know it doesn't look much but what's inside is more then it looks"

The boy nods before they step inside with door shutting behind them.

Sox: "Now put this on Zakum"

Zakum: "Put on what?"

He looks down at the feline confused for what he meant.

Y/n: "he's talking about this"

I held a recom breather to Zakum.

Y/n: "Put this on to help you breathe because you can't breathe human air"

I handed him the recom breather and he puts it on his face. He also attached the oxygen tank thing to his loincloth.

Y/n: "Now follow me and be sure to duck your head"

Zakum follows the human to a strange looking door. The blue boy crouched to get in, once he was in the doors closed, next thing everything began to move.

Zakum: "WHAT'S GOING ON!"

Y/n: "Relax! We are just going down"

Zakum: "Down? Down where?"

Y/n: "You'll see"

Timeskip

After a few moments the stops and slowly opened to reveal the floor they have reached. They slowly step out of the elevator and stepping into the bottom floor.

Y/n: "Sox turn on the lights please"

Sox: "On it"

Before they knew it the lights turn on and everything in the room lit up.

Zakum: "What is this place?"

Y/n: "Zakum welcome to home based"
