I should actually focus on one character

GHOST was near the back, looking around for Double. Where could he be? He usually would be here by now... Ghost waited for a gap of silence in the talking. "I'm gonna go look for Double now."

He didn't really wait for anyone to say anything, and started to walk down the hall. He passed Rage, excitedly talking to someone with gravity deifying hair. Rage flashed him a grin, and kept walking to the two groups of people. Ghost kept walking down halls, until he was tapped on the shoulder by someone. He turned around and was face-to-face with a well known student from his old school. Vikk Barns. "Hi, I need to talk to you for a second."

"What is it?" Ghost asked. "I'm kinda busy looking for someone right know..." He looked around as he said it.

"I know." Vikk replied. "Double, right? If so, that's why I wanted to talk to you."

"Oh jesus christ you sound like a stalker." Ghost sighed.

"How do I put this..." Vikk muttered and looked down. He was silent for a bit and then looked up at Ghost again. "Double... He- Um... They... Changed. Greatly."

"Wait, greatly? And did you say they? Hold up... Are you telling me that... Double is..." Ghost bit his lip. He didn't know how to put it, honestly. "Is Double, not a boy?"

"Yeah." Vikk nodded. "They didn't really know to come out to anyone, so I'm doing it for him. First their family, and now you." He started to walk down the hallway and beckoned for Ghost to follow him.

Ghost did start following him. "So what is his- their gender then? And do they have a different name?"

"Transgender, and probably. You know how her birth name is Ryan right?" Vikk replied.

Ghost nodded. "Well, she may go by a more, feminine version of it, but Double will still be a thing, but she wants the feminine Ryan thing to be used more." Vikk explained.

"Oh, ok then." Ghost said.

Double was sitting by her locker, on her phone. "Hey Double." Vikk greeted. He looked over at Ghost. "I'll leave you to it, then." And walked away.

Ghost sat beside Double. "Hey."

"Hi." Double answered in her usual, quiet voice.

"So how's the change been going?" Ghost asked.

She shrugged. Honestly, she didn't know. Her parents were gone or she was gone, so they never got to see it. Evan had seen it though, and was totally okay with it. "Evan's okay, I guess, and my parents don't know yet."

"I would think your parents would be ok with it, c'mon, let's go see the others." And with that, Ghost took Double's hand and started to walk.

This book is going to be a book just to introduce some characters and there may be plot but idk
I have plot outlines for the prequel and sequel for this book already so
This book is prolly going to end between chapters twenty and thirty unless I get good plot by then
So ye
