Chapter : 35

Rishav's POV

Walking into the dorm room, I was welcomed by soft snoring from the bed. I smiled as I looked at Ananya's sleeping figure under the covers. I'm sure she was tired as hell. After all, walking all day can make anyone want to hit the bed with a 'do not disturb'.

I closed the door as silently as I could and reached the study table to put my phone over it. But my eyes caught glimpse of this little note cleanly folded, sitting over the table.

It wasn't here before, was it?
Curiosity got the better half and I picked up the note. Settling down on the study chair, I opened it...

Dear Ananya,
You've been so busy with a particular someone the past few hours that I couldn't resist writing this for you. Read with care because it took me hours to form this tale. ;)

Once Upon a time, years ago, there lived a princess in a kingdom. She was really sad and unhappy because she did not have the true companion to pour her heart out to. One day, the princess was roaming around the forest, lost in her thoughts when a fly began to circle round her, disturbing her. In that very forest, a hideous hog named R...something was also roaming. He took notice of the princess in distress and pulled out his bow and arrow. He was the finest in sports. Pulling the arrow, he released it and it hit the fly away. The princess was impressed and thankful of him. That day onwards they became close friends. Then, one eventful night, the princess kissed the hog which broke a long forgotten curse over him and he magically turned into a charming prince with emerald green eyes and a smile that would make the princess's heart flutter.

I know this story is kickass but don't come running to hug me with gratitude honey, just think about my suggestion. Maybe he too likes you.

I folded the letter and placed it where it was. Then, I went over and lied down beside Ananya but I kept on tossing over the bed the entire night. What's happening? It was just some childish story...why's it affecting me so much?
