7 QUESTIONS

1. What prompted you to start writing on Wattpad and what do you like most about the platform as a writer?
I had to be told about Wattpad after almost swearing off writing and sharing my work. I got a really bad bit of criticism that shattered me far more than I thought it would, and instead of quitting a friend pointed me towards the big orange W. So I began to post my story there, chapter by chapter, and the rest if history. Having such a larger, broader audience on Wattpad with the almost instant feedback and interactions with readers has always been one of my favorite aspects of the platform.

2. What has been your most rewarding Wattpad experience?
Winning a Watty not only on my very first story ever posted, but also within my first year on the platform. Not only was I humbled to be chosen, but it truly was an experience that contributed to the motivation to continue on with my writing career. 

3. If you had to describe your story in three words, what would they be?
dark, sexy, painful

4. Tell us one thing about your writing process that has helped you the most.

When I draft, I do not dwell on editing as I go. Actually finishing a draft is a slow trek for me as it is, so if I was constantly distracted by self-editing, I don't think I would ever be able to get anything finished. Ever.

5. What is your proudest moment as a writer? Do you have a memory you will never forget?
Being invited to be a Wattpad Creator. Honestly, for the longest time I thought I had been lost to the void and my writing was starting to be affected by that, but to then discover I was still being not only noticed but also celebrated, it made me feel much better about myself as a writer. 

6. Which of your books is your favourite, and why that one?
CUT TO THE BONE remains the heart of my hearts, and I think that's because so much of my heart had been poured into that story, and still is. It's a world I don't want to leave behind, and I continue to try to find other ways to return to that world.
