Who Am I?

A. W. Frasier is a 29 year old fine arts graduate from Denmark and the Faroe Islands. When they're not writing, they dedicate their time to their work with small children in a kindergarten or their various many other hobbies, such as illustrations, photography and knitting.

They write primarily Dark Fantasy Romance or Paranormal Romance with a focus on queer life, struggles and joy, found families and systemic oppression.

1. What prompted you to start writing on Wattpad and what do you like most about the platform as a writer?
I started on a whim. I had written both The Saga and was close to finishing The Feral Series and didn't really know what to do next. Then I stumbled over Wattpad and started uploading. I quickly met so many awesome authors that inspired me to improve. And I think that's the part I like the most about Wattpad as a platform: the community.

2. What has been your most rewarding Wattpad experience?
The very first award I won. I had joined a community award and it was the first time I was recognised as someone who could actually write something worthwhile. I hadn't really shown full novels to anyone and that award really got me fired up and boosted my confidence. I don't think I'd still be as active if I hadn't gotten that initial boost.

3. If you had to describe your story in three words, what would they be?
Queer, funny, steamy

4. Tell us one thing about your writing process that has helped you the most.
Accepting that my process works for me, despite many writing tips advising against every step of the process. 

5. What is your proudest moment as a writer? Do you have a memory you will never forget?
 Getting into Paid Stories and Stars. I never expected getting anything or anywhere and it was just pure moments of joy.

6. Which of your books is your favourite, and why that one?
Watcher has a special place, because it was the first I wrote in English. And it's such a weird novel that shouldn't really work in theory, but it does and resonates with those who read it. I love that a story about a gender fluid god and a bisexual weirdo nerd has a place in this world.
