Chill Like a Villain From Auradon to the Isle

That Night - Auradon

Yeva:

Malia:

Ara:

Anthony:

Auradon Prep - Outside

Yeva, Jay, Carlos, Ara, Evie, Mal, Malia, Anthony and Ben were about to leave.

"Jay, keys!" Ben told him. "Remote."

Ben tossed the things to him.

"Wait," Evie called out. "Something's wrong." She fixed Anthony and Ben's beanies. "There." She looked at Ara's outfit. "And, Ara, I swear, if I had more time to make you and Mari fabulous outfits for missions like this, it would be so much more mermaid than that."

"Okay, Evie," Ara said.

"I know, it's not the point, but Scottish mermaid princess archeresses deserve a lot better outfits, even on short notice," Evie replied.

Dude ran down the steps behind them. "Shotgun!"

Carlos, Ara and Yeva were the only ones not looking at Dude in shock, since Ara had heard Dude earlier that night, and Carlos, Yeva and Izzy had been there when he started to talk.

"No, Dude, stop," Carlos told him. "The Isle is way too dangerous."

Dude groaned, whining, causing Evie, Mal and Malia to gasp in shock, while Ben, Anthony and Jay were just staring, completely stunned.

"Did he just..." Jay trailed off.

"Talk?" Yeva finished. "Yes. Kinda my bad. Tell you later. Let's go."

Jay nodded, weirdly amused and confused.

Carlos looked at Ara. "Yeah, told you it was Yeva's fault."

Yeva gave him a look. "Carlos, don't make me remind you who asked me to make that--"

Carlos gave Yeva a look, tilting his head to Ara to signal Yeva to hush.

Ara chuckled. "Come on."

Everyone got into the limo. Jay was in the driver's seat. Yeva was in the passenger seat, while the others were in the back.

"Okay, once we cross the bridge, park under the pier in the old garage," Malia instructed. "Got it?"

They nodded.

"Got it," Mal answered.

Jay drove the way to the Isle. It was even more darker there than on Auradon. When Jay got to the lake separating the two lands, he pushed the remote that activated the magical glowing golden bridge that allowed them to drive past the barrier into the Isle.

Isle of the Lost - Old Garage

Once there in the old garage, they all got out of the limo.

"Help me with the tarp," Jay said.

"Okay," Yeva agreed, helping Jay put a sheet over the front half of the limo. Yeva looked around. "It's really weird being back here."

"We'll get in and get out," Jay assured.

Yeva nodded.

Carlos tossed them more sheets to cover the limo completely. "Jay. Yeva."

Ben was looking through a tunnel tube of some sort. "Hey, what's in here?"

Anthony walked closer to see.

Malia pulled Ben back, whispering. "Ben!"

Mal walked closer to pull Anthony back. "Anthony! You don't want to know."

Ara was looking around.

"Hey, guys, keep it chill, all right?" Carlos asked. He looked at Evie and Jay. "The last thing we need is our parents figuring out we're here."

Evie and Jay nodded in agreement.

Yeva realized something. "Speaking of, my mom's loose in Izzy's and my dorm room out of her cage and probably tearing the room apart."

"Well, hey, at least Yzma's a cat, Yeva," Ara told her. "Your roommate's mother Queen of Hearts is currently tormenting her."

They started out.

Street

The group walked along, trying to make their way to the old hide out where they knew Izzy would be.

Evie was suddenly cornered by two kids trying to steal money for food, holding them back. "Hey, hey, stop!" The rest of the group turned back. Evie noticed the two kids were homeless and hungry, looking at them sadly, handing her money to one of the kids. "Just take it. Go on."

The two kids smiled, running off.

Ben was smiling at everyone he passed, greeting them, shaking hands, receiving glares from everyone.

Anthony and Ara tried to stop Ben.

Yeva groaned. "Ugh, Ben." She pulled him away from a man glaring at him, Anthony and Ara. Carlos put himself between Ara and the man. "Ben, stop. Just stop. Come here. Stand next to Anthony and Ara."

"What's wrong?" Anthony asked.

"Anthony, this isn't a parade," Evie told him. "It's the Isle. Ben can't keep doing that, and I'm telling you and Ara right now, don't do it either."

"Keep your hands in your pockets unless you're stealing," Jay told them.

"You either slouch or strut," Carlos added.

"And never, ever smile," Mal added.

"Okay, thanks--" Ara started.

"No!" Malia told her. She looked between Ara, Anthony and Ben. "No thank you's, and drop the please too. Just... chill."

Evie looked at Yeva, smirking, starting to sing, placing an arm on Yeva's shoulder. "Let me tell you something you can really trust." She went from one of her shoulders to the others, smirking. "Everybody's got a wicked side."

Mal, Malia, Carlos, Evie, Yeva and Jay crossed their arms, facing Anthony, Ben and Ara, nodding coolly.

Yeva put her hands on her hips, nodding. "I know you think that you can never be like us / Watch and learn so you can get it right."

Mal, Malia, Carlos, Evie, Yeva and Jay  all pointed two fingers at their eyes, then one at Anthony, Ben and Ara. Anthony, Ben and Ara nodded, backing away to give them room.

Mal, Malia, Carlos, Evie, Yeva and Jay dragged their feet along the ground in a dance. "You need to drag your feet." They spun around, nodding. "You need to nod your head." They leaned back. "You need to lean back." Ben, Anthony and Ara were watching and smiling, trying to copy their moves. Carlos and Jay did two flips in the air, landing in push up positions. "Slip through the cracks." Mal, Malia, Evie and Yeva spun around in a circle around each other. Jay and Carlos pushed themselves up, standing in the middle of the circle made of Mal, Malia, Evie and Yeva. "You need to not care."

Mal, Malia, Carlos, Evie, Yeva and Jay broke off from their huddle, facing Ben, Anthony and Ara.

Carlos stepped closer to Ara, noticing that Ben was staring, pointing at him. "Uh, you need to not stare."

Jay had pickpocketed Anthony, holding up his wallet. "You need a whole lot of help."

Yeva looked at Anthony, pointing at Jay, making him realize that Jay stole his wallet. "You need to not be yourselves."

Anthony took his wallet back, stumbling a bit. Jay and Yeva smirked, rolling their eyes a bit.

Mal gave Anthony a slight nudge to put him next to Ben and Ara, doing a little dance in front of them to show them how, singing. "You wanna be cool? / Let me show you how." She stepped up in front of Ara, shaking her shoulders. "You don't break the rules? / I can show you how." Mal spun away from them, as they all faced the same direction, waving her arms down. "And once you catch this feeling."

Carlos, Evie, Malia, Mal, Yeva and Jay all waved their arms down to repeat the movement over the repeated first line. "And once you catch this feeling." The six VKs were dancing in sync. "You'll be chillin', chillin', oh..." Ben tried to copy them. Anthony hit his arm. "Chillin' like a villain."

Carlos, Evie, Malia, Mal, Yeva and Jay marched in place, leaning back and forth, moving their arms slowly in a relatively easy dance, tilting their heads back, turning their heads to the side.

Evie, Malia, Mal and Yeva sang the high notes. "Chillin'."

Carlos and Jay sang lower. "Chillin' like a villain."

When Carlos, Evie, Malia, Mal, Yeva and Jay repeated the dance from just before, Ben, Anthony and Ara started to follow along, though they weren't very good at it yet obviously, all marching in place, leaning back and forth, moving their arms slowly, tilting their heads back, turning their heads to the side.

Evie, Malia, Mal and Yeva sang the high notes. "Chillin'."

Carlos and Jay sang lower. "Chillin' like a villain."

Carlos, Evie, Malia, Mal, Yeva and Jay turned to look behind them at Ben, Anthony and Ara, noticing that Anthony and Ara were doing their best, and Ben was still doing the marching in place thing. "Hey!" Ben jumped, looking up at them. They all walked off further into the Isle. "Chillin' like a, chillin' like a / Hey! Villain."

While walking, Ben was smiling at a man.

Malia pulled Ben away from the man, placing him next to Anthony and Ara, spinning to face them. "You draw attention when you act like that / Let us teach you how to disappear."

Carlos, Evie, Malia, Mal, Yeva and Jay climbed up onto a gate behind Ben, Anthony and Ara, kneeling on it.

Evie pointed at them. "You look like you would lose a fight to an alley cat." Carlos pretended to punch Ben, while Jay pretended to punch Anthony, and Evie pretended to punch Ara. Ben was the only one who flinched by covering his face. Evie smirked, proud of Ara for not flinching, standing. "Gotta be wrong to get it right 'round here / Ow!"

The other VKs stood up on the gate too.

Carlos, Evie, Malia, Mal, Yeva and Jay stayed balanced on the gate easily. "You need to watch your back / You need to creep around." They tiptoed to the right, before sliding to the left. "You need to slide real smooth." Ben, Anthony and Ara repeated the move. Ben knocked over a trash can in the process. Carlos, Evie, Malia, Mal, Yeva and Jay jumped down, placing their fingers over their lips, giving Ben a look. "Don't make a sound." They climbed through the holes in the gate to stand behind Ben, Anthony and Ara. "And if you want it, take it / And if you can't take it, break it." They pretended to kick the air. "And if you care about your health."

Ben, trying to copy their moves, fell to the ground. Anthony and Ara helped him up.

Evie flipped her hair back. "Seriously, you need to not be yourselves."

Carlos, Ara, Evie, Ben, Malia, Anthoy, Mal, Yeva and Jay all sat back on the gate, leaning back.

Yeva spread her arms. "You wanna be cool? / Let me show you how." They leaned forward, snapping their fingers. "You don't break the rules?" They all crossed their arms and legs, looking to the side, nodding. "I can show you how." Yeva jumped down, moving her arms and body in a dance. "And once you catch this feeling."

The others jumped down as well, moving their arms and body in the same way, singing with Yeva. "And once you catch this feeling / You'll be chillin' chillin', ooh / Chillin' like a villain."

Doing the same dance at the chorus as before, Carlos, Ara, Evie, Ben, Malia, Anthony, Mal, Yeva and Jay all marched in place, leaning back and forth, moving their arms slowly, tilting their heads back, turning their heads to the side. Ara, Ben and Anthony were getting better at the dance.

Evie, Malia, Mal and Yeva sang the high notes. "Chillin'."

Carlos and Jay sang lower. "Chillin' like a villain."

Anthony and Mal looked at each other during the dance. Mal smirked, turning his head away, as they all continued their dance, turning to the side, marching in place, leaning back and forth, moving their arms slowly, tilting their heads back, turning their heads to the side.

Evie, Malia, Mal and Yeva sang the high notes. "Chillin'."

Carlos and Jay sang lower. "Chillin' like a villain."

Continuing on, they stopped for a moment.

Ara put an arm around either Evie and Yeva, reaching both her hands down. "I really wanna be bad a lot."

Ara pulled away, turning away, and after a second, turned back to give Mal and Malia the same hug too in the same way.

Anthony did a handshake with Jay, as they bumped chests as Anthony reached his hand down. "And we're giving it our best shot."

Ben did a handshake with Carlos, as he did the same thing as Anthony did. He looked at Malia and Mal, realizing what they were going through back in Auradon, sad and understanding. "But it's hard being what we're not."

"Well, if you don't, you're gonna get us caught," Carlos told them.

Jay circled around "He's right / We gotta stay low key / Now show us how bad you can be."

Ben reached into his packet, holding up Carlos's phone that he had gotten when doing the handshake. "Like this?"

Malia smirked. "Yeah, yeah, yeah."

Anthony held up Jay's wallet that he had gotten when doing the handshake. "Like this?"

Mal smiled. "Yeah, yeah, yeah."

Ara reached into her pockets, pulling out Yeva's purple sunglasses, putting them on her head, pulling out Evie's compact makeup mirror, some cash from Malia, and Mal's wallet, that she had gotten when she had given the girls each hug. "Like this?"

Carlos smiled in shock. "Yeah, yeah, yeah."

Jay, Yeva, Evie, Mal, Malia and Carlos were all shocked but impressed Ben, Anthony and Ara managed to take things from them, smiling, taking back their stuff, putting them in their pockets.

Ara laughed. "Oh, yeah / I think we got this."

Ben stepped forward. "Let's go / I'm ready to rock this."

Anthony put out his arms on either side. "Oh! / And I ain't gonna thank you for your help."

Anthony, Ben and Ara smiled, singing together. "I think we found the words to ourselves."

Arms around each other's shoulders, Jay, Yeva, Evie, Anthony, Ben, Mal, Malia, Ara and Carlos marched down the street.

Malia sang the last chorus. "You wanna be cool? / Let me show you how." They stopped in place, facing the side, rocking from side to side. "You need to break the rules." Anthony, Ben and Ara were doing the dance very well now. They all walked forward again, snapping their fingers. "I can show you how." Malia waved her arms. "And once you catch this feeling."

Jay, Yeva, Evie, Anthony, Mal, Ben, Malia, Ara and Carlos waved their arms. "And once you catch this feeling." They stopped walking, waving their arms. "You'll be chillin', chillin', oh... / Chillin' like a villain."

Jay, Yeva, Evie, Anthony, Mal, Ben, Malia, Ara and Carlos all marched in place, leaning back and forth, moving their arms slowly, tilting their heads back, turning their heads to the side.

Yeva, Evie, Mal, Malia and Ara sang the high notes. "Chillin'."

Jay, Anthony, Ben and Carlos sang lower. "Chillin' like a villain."

Jay, Yeva, Evie, Anthony, Mal, Ben, Malia, Ara and Carlos all stepped forward, waving arms and snapping their fingers, holding out their arms on either side of them, nodding,

Yeva, Evie, Mal, Malia and Ara sang the high notes. "Chillin'."

Jay, Anthony, Ben and Carlos sang lower. "Chillin' like a villain."

Jay, Yeva, Evie, Anthony, Mal, Ben, Malia, Ara and Carlos did the march in place again, spinning around.

Yeva, Evie, Mal, Malia and Ara sang the high notes. "Chillin'." They all threw their hands up. "Hey!"

Jay, Yeva, Evie, Anthony, Mal, Ben, Malia, Ara and Carlos finished the song together. "Chillin' like a villain."

Gil was further up, stealing food from a vendor, putting the food in his pocket, walking away.

Even after the song had finished, Ben was still doing the dance down the street, humming, bumping into Gil.

Gil looked at him in surprise. "Hey, man." The others walked closer. Seeing Gil and knowing that he knew her from when she had been friends with the pirates, Yeva turned her head away, hoping they wouldn't get caught. Jay stood in front of Yeva to try to help with that. Gil recognized Ben, Anthony and Ara from the TV news from Auradon, not noticing the VKs yet. "Hey, I know you."

Ben, Anthony and Ara kept their heads down.

Ara pulled her hood up over her head more. "Uh, no."

"Don't know you either, man," Anthony told him.

"Uh, yeah, you do," Gil told them. "Come on, guys. Really? Huh? Okay, I'll give you a hint. My dad is quick, slick, and his neck... huh? Is incredibly thick. Come on, guys. I know..." He saw a poster of Ben, Anthony and Bane behind them, and a poster next to it for Ara and Mari, looking back and forth between them over and over before it finally clicked. "Oh! You're King Anthony and Prince Ben! You're Princess Ara. Older siblings to Prince Bane and Princess Mari." Mal grabbed Anthony, while Malia grabbed Ben, both pulling the brothers away. "Yeah, yeah, you're totally them." Carlos took Ara by the hand to follow them. "And you're Yeva, Mal, Malia, Jay, Carlos and Evie. Yeva! Been a long time."

"Yeah, it has, Gil," Yeva agreed. "Sorry, we can't stay long."

"Where's Izzy?" Gil asked.

"We're looking for her," Yeva answered.

Jay pulled Yeva by the hand to follow the others. Evie followed them quickly.

Gil squealed/laughed in delight. "Oh, Gaige's gonna love this."

Gil ran away.

Jay, Yeva, Evie, Anthony, Ben, Mal, Malia, Ara and Carlos walked up to the old hangout.

"Come on," Jay said, picking up a rock, throwing it at the sign to make the door open. He looked at Ben, Anthony and Ara. "Stay here. Wish us luck."

Ben, Anthony and Ara watched them walk upstairs. "Good luck."

VK Hangout

Inside, Yeva, Mal, Malia, Evie, Jay and Carlos walked in, seeing Izzy spray painting at the wall.

Izzy got annoyed by the whispering of the scepter, taking it out, looking like she was about to throw it. "I said--"

"You know, talking to a scepter would kinda make you crazy, if we didn't know that Queen of Hearts was in there," Carlos told her.

Izzy turned to face them in surprise, holding up the scepter.

"Got your note," Jay told her. Izzy realized it was just them, sighing, lowering her scepter, tilting her head, giving them a look. "Izzy, why didn't you tell us about Queen of Hearts whispering to you before?"

"Because all of you were so busy with your new perfect Auradon lives," Izzy answered, turning away. "Didn't want to ruin that for you."

"What are you talking about?" Evie asked. "Izzy, you are our best friend. Please come home."

Izzy turned to face them, scoffing. "Evie, I am home. This was our home too. I'm sorry that I can't just forget about that like you all have. Sorry that I can't forget about all the people that need help just as much as we needed it back then, like you guys have. Besides Yeva I mean, since Yeva wants to help the kids here as much as I do. And what do you mean, 'what am I talking about'? You had your fashion thing with Ara, and you had Doug. Carlos, you have the talking Dude and Ara, and both you and Jay have sports now. Yeva, you're so happy now with Jay now that Yzma wasn't in the picture to ruin it, since we moved to Auradon. Mal, Malia, you were under pressure back there because of this whole Ladies of the Court thing you share with Mari, but you three were the happiest you've ever been because of Anthony, Ben and Bane."

"So you just felt... left out?" Malia asked sadly, hurt because of how much their best friend was going through."

"No, it's not just about that, Malia," Izzy told her. "It's just... I didn't have anything in Auradon. I didn't have anything special, and you guys, you... we were slipping away, too. I didn't belong there."

"Is that you talking or Queen of Hearts in the scepter?" Mal asked. "Because your note said that she was whispering to you since you trapped her in there, and that's been months, Izzy. So how long was she tearing you down saying you don't belong there? Since then, I guess? That's why you finally broke and came back here, right? Because of her?"

"Not just because of her, Mal," Izzy answered, turning away. "It's all of it."

Jay walked closer, holding out his hand. "Izzy, hand me the scepter. We know that we can't give it to the museum, but we can at least get it away from you. So that Queen of Hearts can't do that anymore."

"I need it, Jay," Izzy told him. "I'm gonna need it if I'm gonna be here."

"Well, you don't have to stay here," Carlos told her. "Come on, Izzy. We brought the limo. It's a sweet ride. We can fix things back there."

Izzy shook her head. "I don't fit in, Carlos. I really gave it my best shot. And if you think I can change, I think you're wrong."

"We all changed, Izzy," Evie told her. "Look, you're not a villain like Queen of Hearts was." She gestured to the scepter. "Is."

"Yeah, but I'm not one of the Auradon girls, either, now am I?" Izzy replied. "I actually missed it back here, somewhat. None of you guys did."

"You sure it's the Isle that you missed?" Yeva asked. "Or something... or someone... else?"

Izzy didn't answer, scoffing, turning away. "I'm just holding you guys back. You can go." She was getting annoyed when the whispers from the scepter kept getting louder, about to throw it again. "I just need to figure some things out." Malia took the scepter from Izzy, backing away so the whispers weren't so loud to her. Izzy sighed in relief, but was still stubborn and not knowing what to do, turning away. The others looked at her in concern. "You should go, guys. Guys, please go. Please. I just... I can't think."

They nodded sadly, walking outside.

Izzy looked at the spray paint can in her hand, throwing it against the wall in the burst of anger, but realized that Malia still had the scepter and that was why she was not hearing any whispering now, looking relieved but knew she still had to keep the scepter, looking guilty for taking off like that and for being the reason her friends followed her back to the Isle, looking down, not knowing what to do.
