Kidding lol. I was playing Sims 3 when the story came into my head.

It was really fun to be honest, even if I made up the lore of the world as I go (which I do not advise in general!)

Basic Premise: An LGBTQ+ vampire novel focusing on The Stanfords, which consists of Jamal and Leonard, plus Leonard's daughter, Stephanie who is a half-vampire/mermaid hybrid. There's also some world building in the background but the story mostly focuses on the individual family unit rather than the world itself (that's weirdly phrased... um I'm trying to say that Stephanie, Leonard, Jamal and Stephanie's mother are what the focus of the story is and the world building is an afterthought)
