Chapter 18 - Beach Party
The party was going wild. The DJ was blasting different types of music while everyone was dancing.
Elsa came down the steps and looked down at everyone that was having fun. She caught sight of Anna dancing with Kristoff. She seemed to be having fun. Elsa wondered if she could use that to her advantage and get out of here before Anna realize that she’s here. But she promised she would be here and Anna would kill her if she lied to her.
Elsa made her way to the pub and took her seat, giving her back to everyone that was dancing outside. She looked to the bartender who was busy talking to some ladies. She tried to get his attention but he didn’t notice. Elsa let out a frustrated sigh and stood up. She came over to the drinks that was on the table and chose her drink.
Jack came in after saying goodbye to some pirates that were leaving. He saw the bartender not doing his job and wondered who was serving the drinks. It was a girl in a blue beach dress and platinum blond hair. Jack’s eyes brightened when he realized who she was.
“Didn’t know you could make it,” he said, startling her a bit.
Elsa smiled. “Yeah, but I didn’t plan to.”
“Well its good you’re here,” said Jack. “I was getting bored.”
Elsa looked at him confusingly. “Why would you be bored? Weren’t you just having fun with Andrea?” Elsa felt a little
weird just saying that.
Jack let out chuckle. “Yeah but it will be a lot fun if someone else was there with me.”
“Someone like?”
Jack shrugged as he leaned on the table between them. “Well I was thinking about a pretty cute waiter.”
“Really?” said Elsa, smiling. She placed both her arms on the table, looking at him. “Where is he?”
Jack looked at her weirdly before he burst out laughing; soon Elsa followed. Elsa looked up and saw Punzel gesturing for her to come and dance.
“Punzel’s calling,” she said before she went out of the pub. Jack followed.
“Oh no,” said Jack, coming behind her.
Elsa turned around while laughing. “What are you doing?”
Jack raised an eyebrow. “I’m escorting the lady to the dance floor.”
“I don’t need one.”
“Sure you don’t.”
“Fine,” Elsa took his hand and led him to the middle of the people. She started moving her arms and head. Jack furrowed his eyebrows, wondering what she’s doing.
She started laughing when she saw Jack’s expressions. “It doesn’t make you look good?”
Jack shook his head, laughing. “No, that’s terrible. What are you doing?”
“Making it easy for you,” said Elsa as she pulled her hair back.
“What do you mean?”
“Well we haven’t danced together yet so I thought…”
Jack shook his head quickly. “No, no, it’s okay. Just do what you do!”
Elsa nodded, “okay!” She stepped forward and did a dance that Jack hasn’t seen her do before. Everyone stopped and watched. Elsa turned around; she held Jack’s head with one arm and did a split. The people cheered, ‘whoa’.
With one arm on her waist, Jack pulled her up. Elsa turned and smiled at him. “Now your turn,” she said. Jack did not do anything, he was too stunned. “Come on, everyone’s waiting.”
Jack shrugged and took a step back. He put his hand on his head and danced.
Elsa came to him and they both began dancing.
Jack took hold of both her waist and spun her; Elsa dropped on her knees and threw the sand on herself. Elsa turned around and crawled backwards as Jack was crawling towards her. She took some sand and threw them up as the crowed cheered. Jack came close to her and put an arm around her waist, bringing her up to him, her forehead touching his. While staying in that position, their world seemed to slow down as they both kept starring at each other’s eyes. Their breathings became slower as their heartbeat became faster. It was a feeling both of them had never felt before.
Elsa pulled the chain and the shower water fell on both of them. Anna and the group laughed at the sight. Jack laughed as he removed his cap and shake his white hair. Elsa’s smile broke when she saw Carle coming with his buddies. Elsa looked at Anna before she left Jack and disappeared into the crowds.
“Hey!” called Jack, trying to get pass the people that were blocking his way, “Where are you going?!”
Jack went passed them and looked around but she wasn’t there.
“And just like that,” said Kristoff, coming next to Jack, “Cinderella was gone.” Jack let out a sigh, wondering why Elsa had left.
Meanwhile back to the group, Anna furrowed her eyebrows and looked to Carle’s direction.
“What’s the matter with her?” asked Merida, looking confused as the rest of them.
“Carle’s here,” said Anna.
“Who is he?” asked Flynn.
“The vice president of the Arendalle Company,” said Anna, with a frown.
“Hmm, he seems pretty young for a president,” said Punzel, looking his way.
“Yeah, he has a thing for Elsa, by the way,” said Anna.
Merida raised an eyebrow before she scoffed, “oh really? Then tell him good luck.”
“Why?”
“Did you see what just happened?” said Punzel. “There was actually a spark between Elsa and Jack, there’s no denying it.”
“I agree,” said Hiccup, while nodding his head.
“What spark was there?” wondered Flynn, looking clueless.
“It’s obvious they like each other but I don’t think they would admit it,” said Anna. She looked around and noticed Jack and Kristoff weren’t there. “I think I should go home, and see if Elsa is there.”

Jack made his way to the door of his house. He and the pirates had been rehearsing for the second round of the world jam and it’s been really tiring.
When he came in the living room, Sandra was there, sitting on the couch, watching him.
“Where’ve you been?” she asked.
“Um…” Jack tried to come up with an answer.
“It’s passed dinner time; please don’t tell me you’ve been in the library because that’s the same excuse you’ve been giving me.”
“Look it’s the same reason,” said Jack while Sandra rolled her eyes. “I just studied for my upcoming exams.” Well it was
almost the truth.
“Fine, but from now on you have to text me that you’re coming home late.”
“Yes mam,” said Jack, nodding.
“And also mom called, she’s been asking about you.” Jack did not say anything. “When are you going to talk to her?”
“Maybe during this week,” said Jack.
“Good, it’s about time you twos made up,” said Sandra, smiling. “Well go get some sleep.”
After saying goodnight, Jack walked up to his room to take a long night rest. Tomorrow s the mobs rehearsal day so he want to be ready.
