Chapter 12 : Dancing Partner
Jack was scrolling through the web page for something interesting. He was sitting on a lunch table under a tree.
"Jack," he looked up and saw Andrea sitting down in front of him. "What are you doing?"
''Nothing," replied Jack.
"Where were you all weekend? I've been trying to call you.''
"Oh sorry," said Jack. ''I had to take the girls to the mall.''
"Girls?" asked Andrea, raising an eyebrow.
"My sister and niece,'' said Jack.
"What's up you twos?" asked Kristoff, walking to them.
''Where have you been?'' asked Jack.
"Well, I applied for a job...in this school," said Kristoff.
"They have jobs here?" asked Andrea.
"No not really."
"Then what's the job?" asked Jack.
"Um..." Kristoff scratched the back of his head. "It's kind of embarrassing."
"Oh come on, spit it out," insisted Andrea.
"I promise I won't laugh," said Jack, crossing his heart.
Kristoff let out a sigh. ''I'm a cleaner."
Andrea and Jack stared at him. Jack grinned and tried to hold back his laughter. "You can't be serious," he said.
"No, I'm afraid not," said Kristoff.
"Wow," said Jack as he let out a laugh. "Good luck with that. Anyway, today we're going to the first match."
Kristoff nodded. "Yeah, we're all ready."
"Good," said Jack. His eyes caught a glimpsed of platinum blond hair. Elsa was standing with Flynn, a boy with glasses, a ginger haired girl, a red haired girl, and the blonde girl he had met at the hall. Jack smiled and raised his hand, "Hey Elsa!"
Elsa turned around and saw Jack. Elsa smiled and waved back at him. She and her friends went into the building.
Kristoff turned and looked at him. "Since when did you know her?"
"We got paired up as partners in Art class," replied Jack.
"Hmm," said Andrea. "Most people don't hang out with her, except for her pals."
"I don't get it," said Jack. "She's a really nice girl not to mention beautiful."
"Beautiful? Jack, she wears glasses.''
"So? It doesn't matter."
"I think you're starting to like her," said Kristoff, smirking.
"Yeah, I consider her as a friend."
"No not like that. I meant, like, like," said Kristoff.
Jack and Andrea looked at him weirdly. ''What do you mean?'' asked Jack.
Kristoff sighed. ''Never mind.''
Elsa
As soon as they walked into the building, Anna stepped in front of Elsa. ''One night of an Art project and you twos are already friends?" she said.
Elsa raised an eyebrow, "Yeah."
"What's he like?" asked Punzel.
Elsa shrugged. '"He's pretty normal."
"Normal?" asked Hiccup. "What kind of answer is that?"
"We did not talk much and I don't know him very well," said Elsa out of annoyance. She walked past Anna before she could say anything else.
Anna looked at Punzel and then she turned around and caught up with Elsa. The rest went their separate ways. "Are you coming to dancing class with me?"
Elsa looked down at her wrist watch. "If I have time, I think I can come."
"You think?" asked Anna. "Elsa, the showcase is next month!"
"I know," sighed Elsa. "You know I wanted to go to Ballet University but my dad won't let me."
"Then talk him out of it," said Anna.
"I tried but he never listen, just like he doesn't listen to me pleading for him not to take down Stonebridge."
"I'm gonna give uncle a piece of my mind," said Anna, glaring at the air, making some students passing by thinking that she was glaring at them.
Elsa snorted. "I would like to see you try."
"I also need to find a dancing partner," said Anna, folding her arms across her chest.
Elsa looked at her. "What about James?"
"He broke his leg. How could he do that when he knew that the showcase is around the corner?''
"So how are you going to find a partner?"
"I gathered some guys who I think would be able to help me. After my Math class I'll go to them and see if one of them is fit to be my partner." Anna then let out a groan. "Oh I hate Math!"
Elsa looked at her weirdly. "Why?"
"The questions are hard to answer!"
"It makes you think."
"Yes! And my brain nearly got damaged!"
Elsa laughed. "Well I like Math; it's fun."
"That's the one thing we don't have in common."
"There are many things we don't have in common," muttered Elsa.
"Anyway I'm going," said Anna, walking ahead. "Bye...wait, not bye, see you later!"
Elsa chuckled. "See ye!"

"Kristoff, there's a broken light down at the dance class," said Madam Lavin. "Do you mind fixing it?"
Kristoff nodded. "Sure".
Kristoff grabbed the ladder and a box. He walked down to the dance class and to a big room. He put the ladder down and opened the box. He took out a light bulb. He climbed up the ladder and steadied himself and began to fix the light.
After some minutes, he heard the door opened. He looked down and saw some boys walking in. They were all in tight pants. The one thing he hates about ballet is that they have to wear tight clothes. He does not get why guys like them are interested in ballet dancing. He ignored them and went back to work. But his hands stopped moving when he heard the one voice he wished that it was his imagination.
"So you guys ready?" said Anna walking in. Kristoff looked down to them. Anna was in black shorts and a brown sleeveless shirt. Her hair was in a messy bun but it made her look more attractive. "Okay, all you have to do is catch me when I run to you, okay?'' All the guys nodded. "Okay, let's start with you, Joni."
Joni walked to her. Anna ran to him but than he stepped back in fright. Anna raised an eyebrow in annoyance. "Leo, come."
Leo came to her. Anna ran to him and he lifted her up. But then he dropped her and fell down. Kristoff snorted while shaking his head.
Anna looked down at Leo. "Man up, dude, I'm not that heavy!" She looked to all of them. "I only had one apple this morning for breakfast, one apple. So come on!" The guys looked at each other. Then they decided to leave. "Wait! Where are you guys going?!" she asked but they did not reply and just left. She groaned and went to sit down.
Kristoff looked up and saw that the bulb was working. He came down the ladder and removed his gloves. He walked over to Anna. Anna looked up in surprised. "What are you doing here?" she asked.
"I just fixed the light," Kristoff said, pointing up.
"You mean you were here all this time?"
"Yeah," nodded Kristoff, smirking.
Anna groaned and bowed her head, feeling a little embarrassed. Seeing her like this, Kristoff felt sorry. "I'll do it."
Anna looked up. "Do what?"
"Whatever you guys were trying to do," said Kristoff with a shrug.
"You think you can lift me?"
"Why? Are you heavy?"
Anna blushed and glared at him. "No!" She looked away. "Forget it!''
"I was just trying to help,'' muttered Kristoff as he turned to leave.
"Wait," said Anna, making Kristoff stop and turned around. "Catch me," she ran towards him. Kristoff dropped his gloves and lifted her up making her gasp. Kristoff let go and caught her in a bridal style.
"Now what?" he asked.
"Um, you can put me down now," Anna said nervously. Kristoff obeyed and put her down.
