Chapter 11 - Dare

Jack picked up his bag from the table.

"You leaving?" he turned and saw Kristoff coming towards him.

"Yeah," nodded Jack.

"Okay, see you tomorrow," said Kristoff.

"See ya," Jack walked to the exit after saying goodbye to the crew.

"Bye Jack!" said Andrea.

"Bye!" Jack waved and went out. He walked down and stopped at the bus station. He waited for like, ten minutes and the bus came.

When he had gotten home, Kate was standing at their small gate way.

"Kate, what are you doing?" he asked when he had reached her.

"Waiting for you," she said.

"Really?" Jack looked at her weirdly.

Kate rolled her eyes, ''Okay no I wasn't.''

"Hmm come on, let's go inside," Jack took her hand and after a few steps, they both heard someone called.

"Hey Jack!" They both turned and saw Flynn waving at them. Jack was surprised to see Elsa with him.

"Oh hey Flynn," said Jack as Flynn and Elsa walked toward them. "And Elsa?" he had a confused look on his face.

"Hey," smiled Elsa as she looked at Kate who smiled shyly.

"What are you doing here?" asked Jack.

"Please don't tell me you've forgotten," said Elsa with a frown.

"Forgotten about..." Jack furrowed his eyebrows, he then remembered. "Oh yes...sorry, um now?"

"Now," said Elsa nodding her head.

"Okay," Jack looked at Flynn.

Flynn raised his hands, "Oh don't mind me; I'll just get back. See you later, Kate."

"Bye," said Kate, waving at him.

After Flynn was gone, Jack looked at Elsa. "Um come let's go."

Elsa nodded and they walked to the porch of the house and went in.

Kate went somewhere after she saw Jack and Elsa were in the leaving room. Jack put his bag down while Elsa's eyes were looking around.

"Nice house," she commented.

Jack smiled, he wanted to say thank you but someone beat him to it. "Thank you." They both looked at the doorway and there stood Sandra smiling at them. "Woo Jack, who's your friend?"

"Huh Sandra, this is Elsa," said Jack. "Elsa...my sister." Elsa sent a smile to Sandra which she gladly returned. "She's here so we could do our Art project."

"Oh okay," said Sandra. "You both could go to your room."

"My room?" asked Jack with wide eyes.

"Yes, Kate's friends are here and their going to be making a lot of noise that would disturb you, so go."

"Okay," said Jack. He gestured for Elsa to follow him as he walked up the stairs. He opened the door to his room; he switched on the lights and went in while Elsa followed.

Elsa gazed at the blue walls, "You like blue?"

Jack looked at her, "Yeah. It's one of my favorite color."

Elsa smile and muttered, "Mine too."

"Sorry?"

"Nothing, shall we start?"

"Yeah," Jack went to his bed and sat down.

Elsa looked at him nervously, "Um..."

"Sorry, I don't have a table or chair right at the moment, so we could just sit on the bed."

Elsa nodded and sat down. She took out a scrapbook.

Jack raised an eyebrow, "Why do we need a scrapbook?"

"Well according to the students in our class," said Elsa. "It's not really a project; we just have to draw our partners."

"Seriously?" asked Jack in disbelief.

"Yeah, is there a problem?"

"Truth is, I can't draw," Jack scratched his head.

"Oh come on, everyone can draw!"

"Well not me, I'm not a good drawer!"

"Well if you look at the things or imagine it properly, then you can draw."

Jack sighed, "Fine, I guess I can try."

"Now that's the spirit," smiled Elsa. She handed him a scrapbook. Jack looked at it and saw that the cover was blue with snowflakes on it. He looked at Elsa and saw that she had one of her own too. He smiled.

Elsa had already started by drawing his hair while Jack hadn't even started yet. He was finding this all too difficult. He looked at Elsa again. Her head was tilted downwards; some of her bangs were falling while her glasses were just at the bridge of her nose.

Elsa looked up at him and raised an eyebrow, "What?"

"Can you...I can't draw you looking like that," he said.

Elsa furrowed her eyebrows, "What is wrong with my look?"

"Can you look a little bit more alluring?'' Jack hoped she'd got what he's saying but what he said made her raised an eyebrow. He sighed.

"How?" she asked.

"Well, you can take off your glasses and let your hair down."

Elsa blinked. Can she? Well he doesn't know her identity so maybe he can't recognize her.

She brought her hands up and untied her hair and let it fall down to her back. She then removed her glasses; Jack was a little surprised at how blue her eyes were. He'd never noticed with her glasses on.

Jack cleared his throat. "Um that's good, thank you." Elsa nodded and went back to her drawing.

Jack took this time to study her. Her platinum blond hair reached her elbows while she was drawing; he could see a twinkle in her eyes every time she looked up at him. Her skin was covered but he can see her pale face glowed in the light. She was beautiful. He wondered why she always kept it hidden from everyone and let them bully her. A few strains of her hair fell down to her face, he bit his lip, forcing himself to not brush the hair off of her face.

Jack shook his head out of his staring and looked down at the book that was on his thigh. He took the pencil and started drawing. Every passing minute, they both would look up at each other then get back at their drawing.

"Done!" said Elsa. She stretched her hands while looking at Jack.

"So am I," said Jack.

"Can I see it?" asked Elsa.

Jack shook his head quickly, "No!"

"What? Why not?" asked Elsa.

"It's bad!"

"Fine, but we're giving it to Professor Paul tomorrow, okay?"

Jack nodded. He heard a horn that sounded like it was from a car. He stood up and looked out the window. It was a car that he recognized that it was Tom and Jerry's.

"You know them?" asked Elsa.

"Huh yea," said Jack turning around. "We're going to a club.''

"Oh okay," said Elsa, looking down to her hands.

Before Jack could shut himself up, he said, "Would you like to come with us?"

Elsa looked up, surprised. "Should I?"

"Yea, we're just going to hang out," he said.

"I don't know, I have to go home early."

"It's just seven, beside we won't be out long."

"What club is it?" Elsa asked.

Jack scratched his head. "Um I don't know, is just down the two streets with the blue sign."

"You mean JC?"

Jack's eyes widened, "Yeah, have you been there?"

"Not really."

"Then come on," said Jack.

Elsa sighed, "Fine."

"Great," smiled Jack.

Elsa stood up while Jack was wearing his black jacket. Elsa picked up her glasses and was about to put them on when Jack spoke, "Please don't wear that for now, we're going on a club, remember?"

Elsa raised an eyebrow but shrugged anyways. She put her glasses in her bag and walked out of the room. She and Jack walked down.

"You two's done?" asked Sandra.

"Yep, and we're going out with some friends," said Jack. Before Sandra could say anything, he said, "Don't worry, I won't be late."

Sandra sighed, "Okay."

They both went out of the house and walked to the car where Tom and Jerry were waiting.

"Jacky boy, how are you my friend?" Tom took Jack's hand and shook it.

"I'm good," said Jack, enthusiastically.

Tom and Jerry stopped when they saw Elsa. "What a beautiful senorita, nice to meet you," said Tom as he and Jerry took her hand and kissed it. Elsa looked at Jack as he shrugged while smiling. "Hmm, can I give you two?" Tom kissed her hand again.

"OK stop, Tom," said Jerry.

"Come on, you gonna get mad at me?" asked Tom.

"No, I'm not gonna get mad at you," said Jerry.

"I'm just saying hi to her man," said Tom. "I'm introducing myself-"

"Okay look-"

"You stopped me when I'm introducing myself to this beautiful-"

"Don't listen to him," said Jerry to Elsa. "Don't listen to him-"

"You are so cute-"went on Tom.

"OK stop, stop."

"Okay, I'm stopping."

"Elsa, these are the twins," said Jack. "Tom and Jerry."

"Hi," smiled Elsa.

"Guys, this is Elsa."

"Elsa, what a beautiful name-"

"Okay, you better stop, Tom," said Jack in annoyance.

"What? I didn't know she was your girlfriend."

"She is not my-you know what, let's just go!" Jack pulled Elsa's arm and they both got in the car.

The car stopped at the JC club.

When they went inside, people were dancing as usual and some were drinking.

They all sat at the corner. Jack had ordered them drinks. They had drunk while talking and spinning the bottle. When the bottle finally stopped at Elsa, Jack looked at her.

"Huh Elsa Truth or dare?" said Jack.

Elsa thought for a moment. "Hmm dare."

"Hmm, okay I dare you to dance," said Jack, smirking.

Elsa's eyes widen, "Huh I don't think so."

"Why? Can't you dance?"

"Well..."

"Come on," said Jerry.

"If not, you get to sing," said Tom.

Elsa bit her lip; she can't sing right here because it will be a little embarrassing. She let out a defeated sigh. "Okay fine."

"Huh that's the spirit," smirked Jack.

Elsa stood up and handed her glasses to Jack to hold. She folded her jacket sleeves up to her elbows, and walked over to the DJ.

Tom and Jerry looked at Jack. "I was thinking for her to just do a simple dance right here," said Jack.

"Well let's see what she's going to do," said Jerry.

They watched Elsa talking to the DJ. Their eyes widen when Elsa held the plank and jumped down to the floor. People who stood on each side of the floor made way for her and some cheered and shout for her.

She slide to the left and came back again; she then zipper her jacket down letting it open, making the crowed cheers more. She went forward and started dancing.

Tom and Jerry gasped, "Wow!" Jack did not say anything because he was speechless; he never thought she'd be able to dance like that.

Elsa went to a guy at the side; the guy came and put his hands together, Elsa ran to him, putting a leg on his hands and doing a high back flip.

"You know her?" asked a guy that was standing next to Jack.

''Apparently not," replied Jack, still watching Elsa.

Elsa clapped and jumped up, doing spins. She dropped down to the floor, doing some moves; she then stood up and spins. She shook her hair; she turned around and removed her jacket and threw it to Jack.

She went up to the dowel and stood on the upper floor. She did a dance, she then moved to the right. She put her hands on the floor and brought her legs up, doing a stunt.

Everyone cheered, whistle and clapped. She did a bow and went over to the three guys who were staring at her in amazement.

"What?" she asked.

Jack shook his head and put her jacket on her. "That was pretty sick."

"Thanks," said Elsa, as she put back on her glasses.

"That was beautiful," said Jerry.

"You were," said Tom.
"Amazing," completed Jerry.

"Brilliant!" said Tom and Jerry in unison.

"Thanks you twos," smiled Elsa at the two. They both felt like they could faint by her smile. "Besides, it was just a dare."

"What I meant was for you to just do a little dance here where we are sitting," said Jack.

"Oh," Elsa scratched her neck nervously.

"But anyway, I didn't know you could do that, you were really great."

"Thank you."

"Huh guys, we should get back," said Jack. Elsa nodded while the two twins pouted.
