Of all the days to get sick, why did it have to be today? Daewon laid in his bed blinking at the ceiling as he muddled over this question. Just yesterday he was excited and nervous to be able to hang out with the hyungs but now he'd woken up with a pounding headache and a fever.

As badly as he wants to hang out with all the things (especially Namjoon and Hoseok) he doesn't want to risk anyone getting sick so with much regret he'd stayed behind while everyone went out to see the hyungs. As disappointing as it all sounds, at least he can get some rest. They've been extremely busy with previous schedules and insomnia hasn't been good to him so maybe it just wasn't in the cards for him to hang out with everyone today. Maybe he just needs to focus on resting so that's what he does. He throws on a good pair of sweatpants and a hoodie that may or may not belong to Yeonjun (what he doesn't know won't hurt him) and curls up into his bed with the duvet burritoing him in to stay warm.

Daewon doesn't know how long he slept for before he starts to get uncomfortable. He wiggles his arms out from his self made burrito to grab onto his pillow. He lets out a huff as he adjusts it, hugging it tighter in an attempt to go back to sleep. Just as he starts to drift off again the sound of the bedroom door creaking pulls his attention causing him to wake up.

"Hyung?" Taehyun questions, peaking it head into the room. Daewon lifts his head up squinting to see the younger in the room.

"I thought you went with the others?" he mutters before laying back down.

"Well, I felt bad so I just left to pick up some things for you," Taehyun says, showing Daewon the convenience store bag he had in his hand. Taehyun padded over to Daewon's bunk and dumped everything out on his bed.

"I know you don't like soup so I got you orange juice and some crackers, you'll have to eat something more solid later though. And I got you some medicine based on the symptoms you said you had," Taehyun rambles as he shows Daewon the things he bought. Although Daewon felt like crap he couldn't contain the smile on his face.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" the youngest questions seeing his hyungs smile.

"Cause you care," Daewon giggles.

"Well duh." Taehyun rolls his eyes but Daewon notices the light blush on his cheeks.

"I can't believe you passed up hanging out with your precious Jungkookie hyung to take care of me," Daewon says with a smirk. Taehyun bonked Daewon on the head with one of Kai's plushies the older borrowed (stole).

"Shut up."

"Come on, admit it, you like me more than Jungkook hyung"

"As if"

"Say it!"

"I can still leave ya know," Taehyun threatens but he doesn't mean it and Daewon knows it.

"Stay" he says despite knowing that's what Taehyun already had in mind. The younger simply nods his head as he leans over to feel Daewon's forehead.

"You don't feel too warm. When's the last time you took your temperature?"

"Before you guys left I think?" Daewon questions not completely remembering himself. Taehyun huffs as he leaves the room only to come back with a thermometer and a cold cloth. He takes daewons temperature confirming he still has a fever and places the cold cloth on his forehead.

"Wanna watch somethin'?" the younger questions next as he grabs his laptop.

"You chose 'm not picky" Daewon slurs, already feeling comfortable enough to fall asleep again. Taehyun gives a curt nod as he loads something onto his laptop to play for the two of them. That's how they spent the rest of the day with Taehyun nursing Daewon back to health when he was awake and staying by his side to watch a movie until he fell asleep again.

When the others returned later that evening after having a fun day with the hyungs Daewon had been feeling much better thanks to his devoted maknae who at some point ended up in his bed to cuddle.
