1. Gambling

Daewon and Beomgyu stood almost chest to chest glaring at each other.

"20,000 won say Odi doesn't make it" Beomgyu says and Daewon scoffs

"40,000 says he does," he says back.

"Ok 40,000 it is. But get ready to lose hyung," Beomgyu says back. Daewon shakes his head disappointed with the younger. Doesn't he know Daewon's son is smart?

"Alright let's see" he says. Gently he gets Odi out of his house and sets him in the maze he and Beomgyu spent all day creating.

"Alright Odi make Papa proud," he mutters. Laying on their stomachs Daewon and Beomgyu watch as Odi sniffs around the maze, not all that interested in moving through it.

"Guess he isn't as smart as you think" Beomgyu smirks and Daewon rolls his eyes.

"Come on Odi! You have to move through it!" he whines to the hedgehog who continued to just sniff. After a few minutes Odi got bored and started slowly moving through the maze. There were a few points where he ran into dead end and continously heatbutted them before giving up but he was making progress.

"HA! See I told you he was smart" Daewon says.

"Daewon he's running into dead ends like a stubborn bull, how smart can he be?"

"I didn't say he was a genius," Daewon says back only to start screaming once Odi went through the exit of the maze.

"AH-HA HE DID IT! PAY UP!" he shouts. Beomgyu grumbles, reaching into his pocket for the money.

"What is going on in here?" Soobin questions pushing the door open just as Beomgyu was passing the money to Daewon.

"Daewon are you gambling on Odi again?"

"N-no" Daewon says, shoving the bill in his pocket.

"He was!" Beomgyu says before quickly exiting the room.

"What have I said about gambling on our son?" the taller questions, hands on his hips as he glares at his boyfriend.

"Don't do it unless you're gonna win" Daewon recites like a child being reprimanded.

"And?" Soobin urges and Daewon gives him a bright smile

"40,000 won!" he says, showing the money.

"My boy! Let's go get food!" Soobin says kissing his boyfriend on the cheek before grabbing his hand and pulling him out of their room so they could go buy snacks.

2. Lost

Daewon just meant to doze, take a few minutes to rest but the next thing he knew Soobin was screaming about Odi being gone and it woke him right up.

"Daewon this is the second time! Why is it that you keep losing him!" Soobin shouts still in distress over Odi being missing.

"Both times were an accident! And you lost him too!" Daewon whines.

"Just find him!"

"Fine fine!" and so the two hedgehog parents looked around the dorm for the missing hedgehog.

"I knew he hated me" Daewon mumbles as he walks into the bathroom seeing Odi on the toilet seat.

"Stay still" he orders but of course Odi doesn't listen and dives in head first. Daewon rushes to the toilet quickly scooping Odi out.

"It's not a jacuzzi! You could have drowned!"

"HE DROWNED?!"

"NO BABY HE DID NOT DROWN! BUT HE NEEDS A BATH!" Daewon shouts back and turns to glare at Odi.

"One more thing like this Mister and I'll make you live on the streets"

3. Dress up!

After seeing videos on tiktok Soobin really wanted to dress Odi in different little hats. So together they browsed Amazon for various hedgehog hats. Frog hat, pineapple hat, Santa hat, top hat (that was Daewon's personal favorite), a bow and a lot more.

"Odi-ah! Odi! Look here! Look at me!" Soobin calls trying to get Odi to look at him so he could take a picture but Odi was dead set on ignoring him and hiding.

"Odi! Please! Look here! You're so cute!"

"Maybe he's embarrassed," Daewon says, remembering when his mother used to dress him up in ridiculous outfits.

"Why would he be embarrassed? He looks cute?" he says, sounding like Daewon's mother. She never understood. 'No wonder she likes Soobin so much. He's just like her' Daewon thinks.

"Dunno maybe cause he's by himself wearing hats" Daewon answers the question only to instantly regret it when he sees the light bulb go off in Soobin's head. The younger rushes to their closet and pulls out an ugly crab hat.

"Well you wear one with him and he won't be lonely" Soobin says with a smirk and Daewon regrets encouraging Soobin to dress Odi up.

4. Family

Soobin came home from work feeling exhausted but he couldn't go to sleep because he had to take care of Odi. He was very surprised to walk into his and Daewon's room to see his boyfriend taking care of his hedgehog. He watched from the doorway as Daewon carefully took care of every task on Odi's care chart and was even more surprised to see Daewon gently handling Odi. He usually did not like to pick him up because Odi had a habit of biting him.

As he stood in the doorway Soobin's heart swelled up with pride seeing the wholesome movement. Quickly he pulled his phone out recording a small video that he would later post on twitter with the caption My little family.

ೃ⁀➷ ꒰ a/n꒱first chapter with odi! i'll eventually write a chapter about it but daewon actually didn't like odi at first cause he bites daewon a lot but eventually daewon grows to like him and takes care of him.

sorry for the late post i had a busy day today! still managed to update before midnight (barely) though and im still on track for an update a day til dae's b-day so i'm pretty proud of myself rn
