A Serious Question
Where people sulk around with nothing else to do,
The world seemed so dull and gloomy in their view,
With hopes extinguished and depression was due,
I lost most of the reasons to even try to get on cue.
This is the question that hovers in my mind everyday:
How can I make them smile? And hopefully let it stay?
Then there's the delusional idea of making a joke,
When it comes to humour, you can say that I'm broke.
Because no matter how much I try, I only make them choke,
When I went through the most serious words I spoke,
I've always admired the comedians who always made me laugh,
They make it look so easy in front of people, unlike what I have.
So what is the secret? Please, tell me at the very least, half,
Is it a formula? Or maybe a complicated graph?
But no, it's none of them as much as you can see:
All you need to do seems to act with abnormality,
Or rather just talk about something with the ability,
To consider something as serious and as funny as it can be.
Yet people have different tastes wherever you go,
Some use violence while some use their voices so low,
So all I can do is hope that my face would show,
A funny face that makes them laugh very slow...
