Katherine was on the verge of throwing herself out a fucking window. Or better yet, the people in front of her. She had just gotten off of an island, where she had been stuck with a bunch of guys. And it had been worse than she thought it would be. Except for him. And they were 'interviewing' her about what had happened. What had happened was none of their fucking business. It nobody's but the one's that were there.

Location: Grayson family home

Katherine's moms had been looking for some sort of retreat for her. They were indecisive, and had almost sent her on one called, 'Dawn of Eve'. In the end of they changed their mind. And had missed the deadline for applying. But almost a month later, they found another one by the same company, but it was called 'Twilight of Adam'. They had contacted the company, and they had said that, this specific retreat was for all guys. But, they could make an exception.

Katherine wasn't sure how she felt about that. She didn't necessarily trust men, well, in this case boys. Her moms had taught her how to care, and protect herself, so hopefully she'll be fine. The reason she was going on the retreat, well, she doesn't want to talk about it yet. All will be explained in due time.

Location: Airports

Katherine's moms were dropping her off at the airport, and saying their goodbyes. Katherine was scared out of her mind. She hated flying on planes. She had a small fear, that it would just crash in the ocean. And she would be left for dead. She got that fear from watching movies. And she had been scared of it since. She took a deep breath as she walked onto the airplane, what's the worst that could happen, besides crashing of course?

Katherine had been on the plane for a few hours, and had finally landed for her second, and final airplane trip. Where she would be meeting up with the guys. She was greeted by a man, whose name she didn't bother asking. She would probably never see him again. All of the boys were already there, so they all looked pretty confused. 

“I thought this was a retreat for boys only?” one of them asked. “Not anymore.” Katherine said. She walked down the aisle and found a seat. “That's completely fine by me.” a blonde boy said. “And this is why I fucking hate most men.” Katherine mutters to herself. The boy sitting across from her looks sort of offended. “No offense-, whatever your name is.” Katherine responded. “We literally go to the same school. It's Leo Summers. ” He says. “Oh, that's nice.” Katherine says, already ignoring the conversation. 

“So what's your name?” Another boy sitting in front of her asks. Katherine got up from her seat. “Okay, hi I'm Katherine Grayson, I'm seventeen years old. And why I'm here, is nobody's fucking business. Got it?” Katherine said loud enough so everyone could hear her. They nod their heads, and she sits down satisfied with their reactions. “Josh.” the boy sitting in front of her, introduces himself. “Nice to meet you Josh.” Katherine says with a kind smile. She could tell that he's probably the nicest guy there. So, why not be nice to him. Besides, he seems really sweet. 

The plane had already taken off, and Katherine already felt like puking. Did she forget to mention that she's also afraid of heights? “Are you okay?” Leo asked her. Katherine nods. She wasn't about to let any of them make fun of her. And that's exactly what they would do. That's what boys always do. At least that's what most of them do. Katherine put her earbuds in and started listening to music. She didn't know how much time had passed, when all of the boys had started drinking. She had no idea where they got the alcohol from. 

“Do you want one Katherine?” the blonde boy asked. She hadn't learned his name, since she hadn't talked to him. She hadn't talked to any of them, really. “Sure, what's your name?” Katherine asks. “Kirin.” He answers, handing her a beer. “Thanks Kirin.” she says. After that he walks away with a subtle smile on his face. That only one of them saw. Katherine turns back to her phone, when she sees someone sit in the seat closest to her. “Hi, I'm Ivan. Just a little heads up, Kirin can be a major dick to people. So I guess what I'm saying is, be careful around him.” Ivan says. 

“Thanks Ivan, but I'm sure it's not something I haven't handled before.” Katherine says with a smile. “Okay, I just wanted to let you know, since you're the only girl here.” Ivan says. “Wait, i forgot to ask what your pronouns are.” he says in realization. Katherine chuckles. “I use she,her, or she,they. Either one is fine.” Katherine answers. She didn't think she would make any friends on this retreat, and she had already had a few conversations. She wouldn't consider them friends, at least not yet. But it was something. 

“What about you?” Katherine asks. “He, him. I don't know if I'm right, correct me if I am, but I'm sensing that you're part of the LGBT community.” Ivan says. Katherine smiles widely. “How'd you know?” She asks. “Takes gay to know gay.” He says with a shrug of his shoulders. Katherine laughs. “Yeah, I'm pansexual.” the Grayson girl says. Ivan nods. “I'm kind of hoping nobody is a homophobic asshole on this retreat.” Katherine says as she leans back in her seat. “Me too, but who knows.” Ivan says. After a few minutes of talking and laughing, they were all offered chocolate cake. 

“This is surprisingly good.” Katherine says out loud, as she holds her fork. “I don't really like chocolate, but it's fine.” Josh says. Katherine looks up at him, offended. He doesn't even notice, as he kept eating his slice. She looked around to see all the boys stuffing their faces with the cake. Except for Bo, Josh, and Ivan, but the rest were eating as if they hadn't eaten in days. “Disgusting.” Katherine mutters to herself, this time making sure no one could hear her.

 Next thing she knew, her fear was coming true. The plane was crashing. Katherine grabbed onto one of the boys which happens to be Leo. They held onto each other for comfort, for what they both thought would be their last moments.
