"The Other Side: You Are Me ?"

Hoseok POV

I opened my eyes as I adjusted to the newfound light surrounding me. Where was I ? My questions were quickly answered.  "Calm down, Hoseok. This place won't hurt you. I promise." This voice was very familiar, given it sounded like my voice.

Soon enough I was face to face with essentially an exact copy of me. "Who are you ?" A small grin gave it away. "I am you, Hoseok. However, you can call me J-Hope." There was no real way I could fully understand this. He was me ?

He lead me to a small table. Even offered me some tea. "Why am I here ? Why are you here ?" The person opposite of me smirked, which was odd. He essentially was some version of myself. "You want answers, right ? 윤기와는 영원한 인연이 있어요. 그것 말고는 다른 답이 없어요. (You and Yoongi are eternally connected. There is no other answer than that.)"

Eternally connected ? I sighed looking up at the near sky above us. "What does that mean ? Why are we eternally connected ?" J-Hope smized as he then looked me directly in the eyes. "You're two perfectly fit halves of a soul. Your life won't feel fulfilled if you ignore what I am telling you now, Hoseok. Not many have the blessing you both eternally have."

This caused me to think back to when I had asked my mother for answers. She avoided telling me anything & basically dismissed the questions I had. Like she didn't want me finding out anything or had no answer to actually give me. It honestly made me feel like she was essentially treating me as a helpless child. "그래서 지금 제 인생에 윤기가 필요해요? 이것은 그에게 어떤 의미일까요?" (So I basically need Yoongi in my life now ? What does this mean for him ?) J-Hope smiled as the space around us started diming into a darker sky. "The meaning is the same. No way around it. He needs you as much as you need him. The way it will always be, Hoseok."

I can admit learning what I know now has eased my nerves. However, was it worth turning my life completely upside down ?  Why me & Yoongi ? "J-Hope you're a version of me here in The Other Side. Can I ask you something ?"

J-Hope nodded, but clearly kept his composure. I think to mainly contain his excitement. I don't really think he would've been offended with whatever I asked of him. "Do you have your other half ? Another version of Yoongi ?" In a fond & familiar way his eyes glossed over. I could see the emotions as they passed by in his eyes. I could tell J-Hope was extremely happy. "I can't really share that with you since it hasn't happened yet. But you should take what I told you seriously. Why go against the universe in the matters ? It is destined to happen anyway."

Suddenly... There was nothing. Complete silence.
