Robyn walked along the long path between Liva and Jonfran. Kiccoon was on her shoulder, and Peteinee was following closely behind, flapping around while having fun. Thanks to the few battles she’d been having along the way, Peteinee had leveled up and learned some new moves, his newest moveset being: Bullet Seed, Razor Leaf, Pluck, and Pursuit. Kiccoon had also learned some new moves, now knowing: Fairy Wind, Pin Missile, Struggle Bug, and Draining Kiss.

     Robyn was humming to herself as Kiccoon slept. She then noticed something off in the distance, a trainer battling a wild pokemon on the edge of the tree line. Robyn ran over excitedly, another trainer to battle, how fun. However, this excitement disappeared as she noticed who the trainer was, Rosita.

     Robyn came to a stop and tried turning around to run away when “Hey you!” Rosita paused for a moment “Wait a minute, aren't you Boca de Cadena’s friend!?”

Robyn turned around slowly. “Oh hey! Nice to see you again, Rosita, right?” She tried acting normally and friendly.

     Rosita scoffed “Oh don't act like that, I saw you running away, scared of losing to me? I bet Hoja Perdida.”

Robyn looked aghast “Afraid of losing, never! I am a true and dedicated trainer and would never decline a battle.” Rosita rolled her eyes at Robyns enthusiasm “You won't be saying that after I beat you, go Fuegola!”

     The large brown and maroon pokemon jumped out, startling Robyn. How was her starter already evolved? “Go Peteinee!” The pterosaur pokemon cawed and flew out for the battle. Fuegolas fire typing gave it an advantage, but at least Peteinee had its flying type, Kiccoon didn't have anything to counter the bird pokemon.

     Fuegola shot at Peteinee with a Fire Fang, but thanks to Peteinees one advantage, being small, it barely dodged. Before Peteinee was able to do anything in return Fuegola shot out a Burning Jealousy. Peteinee almost missed but was scorched slightly. Peteinee screeched but attacked nonetheless. Peteinee flew down and landed a Pluck. Fuegola jumped back for a bit before bolting towards Peteinee again. Lazy strategy, but Peteinee quickly used pluck again as Fuegola also attacked with Fire Fang. Both pokemon went down, and Robyn was impressed with Peteinee. She quickly ran over and scooped it up and sprayed a burn heal on her pokemon “You did great bud”

Rosita returned Fuegola “Good job Hoja Perdida, you got lucky, but you cant beat this. Go Nymble!”

     Rosita stuck out her hand with another pokeball, and the little black locust appeared, ready for battle. Robyn returned Peteinee and sat Kiccoon down on the ground, a little bit afraid, though.

The little bug leaped forward to Tackle, its other known moves being: Double Kick, Assurance, and Struggle Bug, which wouldn't be very useful against the bug and fairy type Kiccoon. Kiccoon was too slow to dodge, so it took the attack full force, but used Fairy Wind to blast Nymble back. The Nymble flew all the way back to Rosita but quickly jumped back with another Tackle. Right as it kicked Kiccoon, the silk wrapped pokemon used Draining Kiss. Nymble was now on low health, and Kiccoon was more than 2⁄3 back to full. Rosita was obviously annoyed now and gritted her teeth, mumbling something incoherently. Nymble looked back at its trainer's for any help, but she was just yelling now. Nymble attacked as Kiccoon used Draining Kiss. Obviously, Nymble fainted, and Kiccoon was back to full health.

     Robyn sat Kiccoon back on her shoulder and picked up Nymble, walking over to Rosita with the tired. "Hey, you did good, don't beat yourself up." She smiled and sprayed a potion on Nymble.

     "Oh shut it, I wasn't beating myself up. And I don't need your sympathy either way, come one Nymble." She grumbled as her pokemon leapt onto her shoulder, and she stormed away down the pathway.

     Robyn sighed. "Oh well, had fun, didn't we?" She asked her pokemon. Peteinee just screeched happily as Kiccoon snuggled up to her shoulder again to sleep once more
