Shout out to those who have taken my poll about River. I would love if more of y'all would! I'll post the link in the comments. This one's going to be shorter than the last one.

Riverstorm padded out of the dusty den. He had been there for several moons now. He blinked against the bright morning sunshine. He personally thought that Sunpaw was very stuck-up and annoying, while Brackenstar and his Clanmates had seemed more mature. They had left yesterday, so now Riverstorm had the beautiful Descendant she-cats all for himself. He purred slightly and sat down to groom his silky dark gray fur. Furious Eagle padded up with Stormy Sky close behind her. Stormy purred loudly.

"Hey Riverstorm." She said. He nodded in response and kept on washing. Fury rubbed against him.

"Hey River." She murmured softly into his ear. He looked up at her standing over him. Her eyes shone in the morning sun. "You want to go for a walk?" she whispered. He nodded and stood up. Stormy looked on jealously.

"Riverstorm, do you want to go hunting together in the clearing?" She asked, sounding desperate. Riverstorm laughed.

"Sorry, Stormy, but I'm taken this morning." He replied.

"What about after sunhigh?" She almost wailed. Riverstorm looked over at Fury.

"Sorry, Stormy. I'm taken today." Stormy huffed.

"What about tomorrow, then?" She asked. He chuckled.

"I don't think you understand. I'm always taken, Stormy. I've found my mate, and I'm not taking anyone else." He purred and walked away with Fury. She rubbed her muzzle against his cheek.

"I love you, River. Always and forever. And like you said, 'I've found my mate, and I'm not taking anyone else." Riverstorm curled his tail around hers.

"I love you, too, Fury. Always and forever."
