MENTOR BIO

I am known as hchladybug1218 on Wattpad. This is my third year as a mentor, and I am excited to return.

I have been in love with writing since elementary school. My grandfather paid for me to attend a fine arts camp in my elementary years. I took a creative writing class at the camp and learned I loved telling stories. My love of writing continued into my high school years when I joined a creative writing club. I worked for my university's newspaper and had my own column.

I am currently a freelance editor/writer. In addition, I am a published author on a plethora of serial apps. Some of my published books include Life as a Treehouse, Not Like Me, Busted Bubblegum, Model Perfect, All the Feels, The Last Hula, Revenge of Cleotina, and more.

I have been featured several times on Wattpad and have won several awards on the platform. My expertise is in the young adult/new adult genre, romance, and chick lit.

My Wattpad career has led me to the Pretty in Punk Book Club. I've had my dabble in the Wattpad Ambassadors program, serving on their outreach team. I've had the privilege of being a guest speaker last October (2022) for the Writers ConnX NaNoWriMo Panel.

My stories are about forgiveness, brokenness, heartache, and drama. If your stories are similar, please keep reading.

I have experience as head editor, journalist, and ghostwriter. I enjoy reading fantasy, romance, chick lit, young adult fiction, and the occasional historical fiction novel.

Off Wattpad, I am a mother of two elementary-aged kids. We are preparing to move to the southern part of the United States this summer. We are currently homeschooling and are planning to continue next year.
