If you are still writing your short story, please only make it one chapter! From now on, we will not be accepting over 1 chapter short stories.

Contestants will be judged on the following categories:

Clarity
Is your story clear and easy to follow?

Uniqueness
Is your story unique? Is it creative?

Grammar/Spelling
Everything is spelled, punctuated, and worded correctly in your story.

Interestingness
Is your story interesting?

Detail
How much detail is in the story?

Emotion/Thought
Can you easily tell what your character is thinking and feeling?

Does it fit requirements?
Does your story fit the prompt? Does the (estimated) length clearly fit the requirement?

If you have already submitted your entry, you are welcome to change it until the deadline arrives!

Please also note that we are fiercely sorry for announcing this so late into the contest and we know how hard some of you have worked on your entries.

We appreciate everyone who entered, but if your short story consists of more than one chapter, it is just too much for us admins to handle.

We have 8 active books and only 6 admins, some of which who are very busy with their lives, and we just don't have the time.
