I hate when people hate on transgender women/men, in stories. Believe me, I hate it in real life too.
Seriously, why tho? It doesn't affect your reading or anything.
People who Identify away from cis-genders, get a lot of hate in books and not in books. Like, does it hurt you to call them something they prefer? It's like someone giving you punch in the gut when you asked for a handshake.
When I talk about this problem, it also talks about how people complain when a male character is made into a female/female to male. It also refers to people hating on straight romance books, homosexual books, etc. Like, the stories good, why even care about what genders they are? If you have a preference, read something else.
