InspirationExists is an amazing account on Wattpad which is home to books such as 'Poems' which has 671k reads, and 'The Break Up Plan' which has 92k reads. It was lovely to interview them, and here is what they had to say!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I started writing years ago because I thought it would be a great way to get better but I stopped writing for a long time and when I started again it was more of a hobby that I still love!

What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad?

My proudest moment was when my book Poems reached 100k. It's been a long time since that happened but I've never had confidence in my writing and to know that so many people enjoyed my writing was incredible. I still get so happy whenever I get more reads.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I get my inspiration from so many things, usually, if something happens in my own life that I think relates to one of my books I can base a chapter off of it and it's a way to remember a nice memory.

Which book has been the most fun to write and why?

I've loved writing all my books but the most fun has to be Poems. It's my most popular and longest and it's because I didn't want it to end! every chapter was fun to write and I love all the characters so much.

What's the hardest part about writing on Wattpad?

I've been told by my friends that I overwork myself a lot so the hardest part about writing on Wattpad is that I don't know when to stop and I usually tire myself out because of writing so much!

Which chapters are the most fun to write and why?

The most fun chapters to write are definitely the saddest ones. It sounds so horrible but it's so fun to be able to add such detail and drama and sadness to a chapter and the sad ones have it all. 

And finally, what advice would you give a new writer on Wattpad?

The advice I'd give would be to have fun and write for yourself. Find inspiration in things you love and write books you want to read. It's so much easier to write chapters and books that you get excited about because it's your work and regardless of what you think it's already incredible. All your favourite authors started out in the same position and they worked up to where they are now and you can too.
