Ann: Hm? Um, this was a look I wasn't expecting.

Makima: Hello everyone. There were some suggestions for a new host for DBX. It does appear the higher-ups have come to a correct decision.

Ann: Are we sure you didn't just manipulate them into doing so?

Makima: It's for one season. We'll look into the other option if it doesn't work out.

Ann: Wait, what about me?

Makima: Oh don't worry, you're staying with me. I do need a co-host to keep the audience entertained after all. Though I do prefer dogs over cats...

Ann: Well that's just- wait, are the cameras already rolling? Um welcome to DBX! 

Makima: As you can see, we're having a bit of a change in scenery. The only rule is that you be respectful. These fights are for fun with no research done on who would win after all. So, even the winners are usually decided with a flip of a coin.

Ann: Also while we're going to take requests, a lot of these battles won't be suggested ones. Still, feel free to write down as many as you want to see! This is our new approach to DBX!
