FEATS:

-Considered to be the greatest creation of Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik

-Designed to be superior to Sonic the Hedgehog in every way, and succeeded

- Upon first becoming Mecha Sonic destroyed the Death Egg

- While first searching for the Chaos Emeralds killed every living thing on Mobius except for Shadow and Sonic

       *Would've killed them both had Shadow not teleported away the Chaos Emeralds

Monika: Doctor Ivo Robotnick, who some may know as Doctor Eggman, has created countless powerful robots, all in an attempt to destroy Sonic once and for all. However, his most prized creation would definitely have to be Metal Sonic.

Junko: No kidding. We're talking about a machine built to be faster, stronger, and better than Sonic in every way! Only one problem... for a guy built to be better than Sonic, he's lost to the Blue Blur time and time again. You would think he'd get tired of it.

Monika: Well one day, he finally snapped. Metal Sonic had betrayed Eggman in the past, but this time was different. Instead of taking over all of Eggman's robots, he would absorb them into his body. Every... single... one. Thus turning Metal Sonic into Turbo Mecha Sonic.

Junko: Damn and Eggman didn't stop him?

Monika: He did threaten to shut down Mecha for his rebellion, but Mecha Sonic destroyed the Death Egg, causing it to crash into Mobius, where Mecha would continue his path of destruction.

Junko: Yeah, he literally went and murdered everyone! Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Rouge, Omega, you name it! Only Sonic and Shadow managed to survive and only because Shadow managed to teleport them to another dimension. That being the dimension of the Mario Bros, where the four of them would work together to stop Mecha Sonic!

Monika: Only one problem, Mecha Sonic is extremely powerful.

Monika: He's already far more powerful than his original Metal Sonic form, who could destroy mountains and survive atmospheric reentry. 

Junko: Yeah, we're talking about a guy who killed Knuckles, who's strong enough to push the moon! He's even dog-walked Yoshi, who once punched someone so hard they turned into a constellation of stars!

Kokonoe Notes: While SMBZ is a non-canon fanmade project, we will be scaling to the main games to make things more interesting and to get a better understanding of how powerful Mecha Sonic is. The same will apply to Nazo. In addition, while Mecha Sonic has been in other fanmade projects such as Two Worlds Collide, we will be sticking with SMBZ's version as well as versions that are closely tied to it (ex: DBX where he fought and beat Bowser Jr. He also fought Bowser, keeping up with him though losing the fight in base)

Monika: As you can guess, he's incredibly fast as well. He's one of the few people able to keep up with both Sonic and Shadow so far. He's even dominated in his fights with Sonic and Mario in a 2v1... twice. And these are two individuals capable of surviving Black Holes. 

Junko: In both fights he nearly killed Sonic and in one of them, the two were moving so fast that time froze around them! He's powered through the Koopa Bros' Chaos Emerald-powered special attack, which was powerful enough to one-shot Sonic, Shadow, Mario, and Luigi! Oh and remember that explosion which destroyed the Death Egg? It was powerful enough to shake the entire planet and covered the skies in dark clouds similar to the asteroid impact responsible for wiping out the dinosaurs!

Monika: Right, he's definitely a powerhouse with nobody to stop him.

Junko: He's a cruel and cold-hearted killing machine who loves to see people suffer and cares for nobody but himself. He shows no mercy to anyone and sees nothing wrong with taking the lives of others to further his goals, being responsible for the deaths of all of Sonic and Shadow's friends on Mobius, an innocent Goomba, the Koopa Bros., and the Axem Rangers X. He seems to view himself to be as powerful as a god and is extremely megalomaniacal. He views his enemies as unworthy opponents who don't deserve to have the power of the Chaos Emeralds, or even live for that matter. 

Monika: According to Sonic, the thing that set Mecha Sonic apart from the other Sonic robot models was his persistence. His goal was to do that which he was initially programmed to do... destroy Sonic the Hedgehog. He continues this goal even after his rebellion against Eggman, though for different reasons than loyalty.

Junko: The guy is an incredible martial artist with a very aggressive and Brutal fighting style, focusing on breaking his opponents as fast as possible. This lets him take on multiple foes at once and win even if it's five-on-one.

Monika: He was able to hold his own against Mario and Sonic in the Pipe Maze, easily seeing through the latter's attempts to throw Mecha off with his speed and agility and leaving the former unable to land a single hit on him, effortlessly avoiding his attacks with his teleportation. He then fought Mario, Yoshi, Sonic, and Shadow all at once in the Minus World, which was specifically inhibiting some of Mecha Sonic's abilities, yet he still holds his own.

Junko: Mecha utilizes his teleportation to avoid attacks, including surprise attacks from behind, or bypass his enemy's guard, and is also shown using his environment in combat, such as using rubble created from his attacks as a form of attack.

Monika: Right, all in accordance with his mechanical body.

Junko: He's a total badass! His body is equipped with various weapons, like an arm canon that can also be used as a machine gun, or his fast-firing rocket launcher!

Monika: Of course, since he's based on the original Metal Sonic, it's likely he still possesses the ability to conjure up shields as well. This includes the Thunder Shield, which makes him immune to electric attacks, or the Aqua Shield, which lets him move on water without sinking. Both of these can reflect minor projectiles but can disappear after a strong enough blow.

Junko: He can fly, fire plasma beams from his hands or chest, and stretch his arms out to grab his foes! But the best thing in his arsenal has to be his copycat ability.

Monika: Right. Turbo Mecha Sonic possesses the ability to copy and use the powers of anyone who he comes across, possibly to an even greater extent considering he can not only copy their abilities but their weapons as well, even copying their biodata and see how powerful they really are.

Junko: He should have Espio's ability to turn invisible, Rouge's ability to summon artificial bats that explode on impact, Knuckles Hammer Punch and Knuckle Slam, and even Silver's telekinetic abilities!

Monika: Um... I think that's just something Mecha Sonic had on his own. But regardless, the two biggest foes he's copied are Sonic and Shadow.

Junko: Right, for Sonic it should be obvious as he's able to utilize his Spindash technique.

Junko: Actually, Mecha's might be even better since he can his spikes as a jigsaw and effortlessly rip through steel or cut down entire mountains like butter!

Monika: He also has the Homing Attack, Light Speed Dash, and Light Speed Attack. He even has Sonic's own Sonic Boom, which breaks the sound barrier and damages any foe in his path. It's similar to the Sonic Boost but can't be stopped mid-use.

Junko: Still, his best stuff comes from the Chaos Emeralds.

Monika: Thanks to the data he copied from Shadow, he can utilize Chaos Control. With just one emerald he can stop time, teleport, and even use both Shadow's Chaos Spear and Chaos Blast techniques.

Junko: These emeralds hold an unlimited amount of power, with just one of them you could easily warp the fabric of reality! With four, Mecha Sonic can go from Turbo to Semi-Super Mecha Sonic!

Junko: This form is badass! Not only did he take on both the Axem Rangers and Mario with his little friends, but neither of them could do shit to him! The guy was nigh-invincible, only being damaged by Super Sonic!

Monika: He also has plenty of moves to go with it. In this form, he could rain down blasts of energy from the sky. He's also capable of the Raging Demon, yes the same Raging Demon Akuma uses to target your very soul.

Junko: He can even form a massive ball of death! One capable of causing an explosion that completely annihilated Yoshi's Island and reached far, far, FAR beyond its shores! What's worse is that was an incomplete version!

Monika: What's even crazier than that is, Mecha Sonic can grow even stronger once he's gotten all seven Chaos Emeralds to become... Metallix.

Junko: A totally badass transformation that we never got to see!

Monika: Oh right, Super Mario Bros Z got a reboot before they could finish the original, resulting in us not seeing this form at its full potential. Luckily, we can pull from other sources, like on SpacePea's channel where he's comparable to base-form Shadic, who's the equivalent of a fused Sonic and Shadow.

Kokonoe Notes: Though the animation of Metallix vs Shadic isn't a continuation of the SMBZ story, this version is based on that series Mecha Sonic after getting all seven Chaos Emeralds and becoming Metallix. Essentially making it a What-if Scenario.

Junko: In his badass fight with Shadic, he was shown to come equipt with lightsabers and a full Megaman Canon! He can still use all his abilities in SMBZ only way more powerful and he can go even further! Using the Chaos Emeralds to become Super Metalix. Heck, with the power of the Master Emerald, he can turn the Chaos Emeralds into Super Emeralds and become Hyper Metallix!

Monika: But even with these godlike powers, there are limits even for a robot.

Junko: As sadistic as he is, he's a little too arrogant, often bragging about how he already won, which gives his foes time to recuperate and escape or come up with a battle plan in the middle of the fight.

Monika: Also, while Metallix may be a more permanent form, his other additional forms are not. While they can't be maintained through rings, Super Mecha Sonic, Super Metallix, and Hyper Metallix all run on energy, and using too much of that energy could drain him and revert him back to whichever base form he had prior.

Junko: But he's still incredibly strong and incredibly dangerous. So you better start running, because once that music hits and this man appears, you'll be up against Sonic's very own fanmade Terminator.

Mecha Sonic: Let me explain one final thing to you, Sonic and Shadow. Sure... No matter how you'd put it, through your countless transformations you each gained more and more power and became more unstoppable than before each time. Whether it is a dark form... achieved through nothing but pure hate, or the energetic parasite "Fleetway" when collecting too many rings... But your strongest transformation always remained your Hyper form. Nothing else could come close to 10% of the speed and power your Hyperform gives you. Then the two of you fused and underwent the same process... yet look at you. Easily defeated by me despite of you having reached that final form of yours while being in your fused state! Even I started out weak, but look at what I've become now! And to what extents I could further push my powers in the future! It's a shame, really... Nothing, nothing will ever be able to come up against me at this point!!!!
