Junko: You know, it's always great to have a dedicated fanbase, and one brimming with success. I mean, sure Sonic has had some rough games, but he's gotta be doing something right with all these badass fanmade villains coming after him.

Monika: Like Turbo Mecha Sonic, the living terminator of Super Mario Bros Z.

Junko: And Nazo the Hedgehog, the perfect being in Nazo Unleashed

Monika: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

It was a beautiful day on a tropical island in the green forest. The Master Emerald was sitting on a tree as three of the Chaos Emeralds were sitting in front of it. Nazo approached with a fourth one.

Nazo: Finally. Now I just need the last three.

As he said that, Mecha Sonic had teleported behind him, already holding the last three emeralds himself.

Mecha Sonic: There they are. You there, hand over the Chaos Emeralds and I may just let you live.

Nazo: Hmph, and what are you supposed to be? Another one of Eggman's little toys? You're not even worth my time.

Mecha Sonic: ... Very well then. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Both of them burst with power before Mecha Sonic charges at him.

Nazo: Hmph.

Nazo hits him with a backhand, stopping his momentum before going for a kick which Mecha Sonic blocked with one arm.

Nazo: Tch!

Mecha Sonic: That all you've got?

He grabs Nazo's leg and spins him around before throwing him into the ground. He then aimed his arm cannon.

Mecha Sonic: DIE!

He fired a missile that blew up in Nazo's face. Nazo had immediately healed from the damage and teleported above Mecha Sonic, hitting him with a kick that sent him crashing to his feet. He went for a downward kick, but Mecha Sonic blocked it and pushed his foot back. They both then went for a punch that created a shockwave around them. Mecha Sonic then used his other fist to punch him and send him flying into a mountain.

Mecha Sonic: Chaos... Spear!

As soon as he unleashed a massive Chaos Spear, Nazo healed and recovered before firing his own blast of chaos energy, creating an explosion between them. Before the dust cleared, Mecha Sonic turned invisible and Nazo flew at him, only to see he wasn't there.

Nazo: Tch. Where did he go?

Mecha Sonic reappeared behind him and kicked him towards the forest below. Before Nazo could land, Mecha Sonic stretched his arm out, catching Nazo by the neck.

Mecha Sonic: Get over here!

He brought him in and punched him to the ground hard, creating a massive crater. Nazo came out of it, flying back as Mecha Sonic flew after him and went for a homing attack. Nazo dodged it as Mecha Sonic cut a tree in half and kicked it towards him. Nazo immediately blew it up before Mecha Sonic summoned artificial bats and sent them at him.

Nazo: Pathetic.

He blasted them away and Mecha Sonic unleashed a massive laser from his chest, destroying most of the forest. Nazo managed to teleport above Mecha Sonic to dodge it as he kicked the robot into the ground. He then went to fire a ball of energy, but Mecha Sonic teleported beside him and kicked him in the face before he could. Nazo was sent crashing through trees before Mecha Sonic grabbed him and dragged his body across the ground. He then smashed him into a boulder and started glowing red.

Mecha Sonic: Chaos Blast!

He unleashed a massive explosion around him, engulfing the entire forest. Once the explosion dimmed down, nothing but rubble remained. Mecha Sonic landed, scanning the area.

Mecha Sonic: Finally, now where is that emerald?

A massive burst of energy erupted behind him. Mecha Sonic glanced back and saw Nazo emerging from the rubble, his wounds immediately healing up.

Nazo: Enough of this! 

Mecha Sonic: Why won't you die?!

Mecha Sonic's arm turned into a machine gun as he started spraying bullets at Nazo, who was quickly dodging them and circling around Mecha Sonic at incredible speeds. Mecha Sonic punched the ground and caused an earthquake and forcing Nazo to get back. Mecha Sonic then started charging up. Nazo dashed at him but it was too late as time slowed down around Metal. 

Mecha Sonic: Playtime's over!

He struck at Nazo with a Lightspeed Attack, sending him flying back. Nazo caught himself but was immediately kicked into the air. As soon as he caught himself again, he aimed a blast and fired, but Mecha Sonic dodged and elbowed him in the gut before striking him in every direction and then kicking him into the ground. Mecha Sonic flew all the way to space and back down as Nazo got up. He looked up only for Mecha Sonic to hit him with a homing attack that sent him flying away and sent his Chaos Emerald flying into Mecha Sonic's hands. 

Mecha Sonic: Behold my true power!

Using the power of four emeralds, electricity sparked around Mecha Sonic's body as he had transformed into Semi-Super Mecha Sonic. Nazo got up and saw this form but was too pissed off to care.

Mecha Sonic: Now then, witness true- Gah!

Before he could finish his sentence, Nazo kicked him in the face and sent him flying. He then flew above him and unleashed a barrage of energy blasts down at him. Mecha Sonic teleported out of the way and into the sky, raining down massive beams of energy that Nazo was already flying around to dodge. He then teleports into the sky and they both face each other while powering up.

Mecha Sonic: I've let you live long enough!

Nazo: I'll send you straight to Hell!

They charged up ginormous balls of energy and fired down at each other, creating a huge explosion that engulfed the entire island until there was nothing left but ocean water. Mecha Sonic had flown out of the ashes in his base form, scanning around but seeing no sign of Nazo nor the Chaos and Master Emeralds.

Mecha Sonic: What?

He looked behind him to see Angel Island had started floating into the sky and immediately figured out what was going on.

Mecha Sonic: Hmph...

He teleported to Angel Island, where Nazo was standing on top of the Master Emerald with all seven Chaos Emeralds in place.

Nazo: You're too late. Now with the seven Chaos Emeralds, I shall take my true form!

The Emeralds glowed as he channeled their negative energy, turning himself into Perfect Nazo. Mecha Sonic saw this form but he merely laughed.

Nazo: Hm? What's so funny?

Mecha Sonic: That is quite a cheap transformation, but you've made one crucial mistake. You brought all seven emeralds right where I wanted them!

Mecha Sonic extended his arm, harnessing the power of the Chaos Emeralds and transforming, turning himself into Metallix.

Metallix: Behold, this is true power!

Nazo: Hmph. What are you, some sort of monster?

Metallix: Monster? Heh no... I... am... a... GOD!!!

He powered up even further, harnessing more power and becoming Super Metallix. Nazo jumped off the Master Emerald and went for a downward punch as Metallix went for a punch of his own. The two clashed and created a shockwave around them. Metallix went for another one, but Nazo dodged it and punched him in the gut. He then blasted him away and sent him flying. 

Nazo: How pointless.

He teleported above Metallix and kicked him into the ground hard. Metallix then unleashed a massive blast of energy from his chest. Nazo dodged and landed as Metallix got back, firing multiple more blasts of energy from his arm cannon which did little to no damage to him.

Metallix: What?!

Nazo: Heh... surprised?

Metallix dashed at him with a lightsaber and swung at him rapidly. Nazo was casually dodging before blasting him away but Metallix slid onto his feet more angry than hurt.

Metallix: Grrr... Chaos Control!

Time froze but Nazo was still moving and it was Metallix who was stuck. Nazo smiles and floats towards him with his hand out, blasting him away as time resumes. Metallix was sent flying into the Master Emerald as Nazo stood there laughing.

Nazo: Hah! This is your true power? I couldn't dream it would be this easy! Hm?

Just then, the Chaos Emeralds turned into Super Emeralds and Metallix used their power to tap into his Hyper Metallix transformation.

Nazo: Impressive, but still too we-

Before he could finish that sentence, Metallix flew at him, grabbing him by the face and slamming him into the ground hard.

Metallix: I'll crush you!

Nazo: Tch!

Nazo kicked him off then got up and blasted at him, but Metallix countered with a blast of his own. The two then clashed fist, creating another shockwave before Metallix kicked him into the sky and flew after him. He grabbed Nazo by the neck and sent him crashing through the moon. Nazo burst with power, knocking Metallix back as he blasted the robot into the moon, forming a crater. He then fired more blasts but Metallix dodged them and flew up, attempting to grab him. Nazo dodged his attempts and kicked him towards an asteroid belt. 

Nazo: I'll turn you to dust!

He started firing a barrage of blasts and Metallix made a shield around him to block them all. He then moved three asteroids and sent them flying towards Nazo. Nazo teleported out of the way for one of them and then blasted another, but the third hit its target and smashed him into a bigger asteroid. They both blew up from Nazo's immense power as he tapped into the negative energy of the Super Emeralds. His rings turned black as he had become Hyper Perfect Nazo.

Nazo: You are annoyingly stubborn. But of course, you would resist... so let's see if that shield is enough to protect you from this!

He held his hands in the air, creating a ginormous ball of Chaos Energy. He threw it down and watched it destroy everything in its path. Metallix went for a spin dash and burst right through it, creating a massive explosion before appearing right in front of him.

Metallix: It's no use!

He struck at Nazo, hitting him multiple times as he struck him with the Raging Demon, badly damaging him and reverting him back to his base form.

Nazo: Geh! No... this is impossible!

Metallix then fired a massive blast of energy, sending Nazo straight back to Mobius and crashing into Angel Island with a massive explosion. He struggled to get up as Metallix floated down in front of him. He grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up.

Metallix: Do you see now? You are nothing more than a bug beneath my feet.

Nazo: Geh... no... I am Nazo the Hedgehog...

The Master Emerald started to glow.

Nazo: I... am pure CHAOS!

He burst with power, knocking Metallix back as he used the power of the Master Emerald to become Chaos Nazo.

Nazo: This is who I am!

Metallix: Fool! You will die by my hands!

Nazo: Chaotic Blast!

They both unleashed massive blasts of energy as Metallix was immediately overwhelmed, being sent crashing through trees. Nazo then aimed his finger and fired another blast of Chaos Energy. Metallix formed a shield to block it but it was destroyed as soon as the blast made contact. He went for a Spindash and Nazo went for a punch as their clash created a massive explosion. As soon as Metallix came back with a punch of his own, Nazo grabbed his arm.

Nazo: I'll be taking that!

Nazo absorbed Metallix's chaos energy for himself, reverting him back to Mecha Sonic and even taking away his speed.

Mecha Sonic: Geh! What?! What did you take?!

Nazo: Everything! 

He punched Mecha Sonic into the air and held out his hand.

Nazo: Chaotic Palm!

He formed a massive palm made of Chaos Energy and sent it at him. Mecha Sonic went for a Homing Attack and destroyed the palm only for it to turn into multiple tiny balls of Chaos Energy around him.

Mecha Sonic: Tch. Do you think this will stop me?! Chaos Control!

Mecha Sonic attempted to use Chaos Control, but nothing happened.

Mecha Sonic: What...? No... curse you... NAZOOOO!!!!

The chaos energy around him blew up, blowing Mecha Sonic into pieces as his head fell onto the floor. Before he could plan his next move, Nazo stomped on it and crushed it beneath his feet.

Nazo: Now there's nobody left to get in my way.

Junko: You know, I was a bit worried there for a second but damn did this fight exceed all of my expectations!

Monika: Now let's be a bit clear here, this is a close fight but only thanks to using in-game scaling, something we weren't supposed to use but did anyway.

Junko: And because of that, the results were the same but it was a lot closer!

Monika: Now there's no denying that Mecha Sonic was much faster, especially when becoming Metallix.

Junko: Yeah, Mecha Sonic is faster than regular Sonic who is much faster than Nazo. At full power, Hyper Metallix was able to overpower Hyper Shadic, who should be faster than Hyper Shadow who is just as fast as Hyper Nazo.

Monika: This would mean that Mecha Sonic is still faster. While Chaos Nazo should be faster than his Hyper Form there will still be a speed gap. Still, the gap isn't so wide that Nazo can't keep up. Of course, power could also be close with both of them at their best being able to exceed Hyper Shadic, who is at least 28 times more powerful than either Sonic or Shadow in their base forms. But what really turned the tables are their capabilities.

Junko: Chaos Nazo's ability to absorb Chaos Energy was pretty much the biggest Uno Reverse card against someone like Mecha Sonic. It's not impossible to pull off either. Dark Spine Shadic did the same thing to him before one-shotting him. 

Monika: Considering Chaos Nazo steals away not only your transformation but also your speed, this gave Nazo a massive advantage. 

Junko: Even if we did look at Mecha Sonic's other options, nothing aside from his Chaos abilities could really do a thing to Nazo. Sad to say this super epic battle unleashed by Nazo caused our good bro, Mecha Sonic, to catch some Z's.

Monika: ... One day you're gonna one out of puns.

Junko: That day would be perfect chaos!

Monika: The winner is Nazo...
