Kokonoe: *sigh* Why am I always with the crazy blondes?

Miu: Yeah Yeah. Let's get this shit over and done.

Kokonoe: Anyway, as a child, Phoenix Wright was accused of stealing the lunch money of one of his classmates, Miles Edgeworth. So they decided to have a little class trial. In the end, nobody stood on for him except the victim Edgeworth and the actual thief Larry Butz.

Miu: Larry Butz? Meh, I prefer Dick Grayson.

Kokonoe: Anyway, this moment inspired Phoenix to always find the truth and help defend others. So he became a lawyer and a pretty good one at that.

Miu: And a fucking tough one too. This guy can get tased to unconsciousness by a 600,000 volt taser, clobbered with a fire extinguisher, pounced by a fuckin tiger, and even ran over by a car, flew thirteen feet and hit his head on a telephone pole only to suffer a sprained ankle.

Kokonoe: True. He also has a few abilities and an item called a magatama.

Kokonoe: This is a Kurain artifact infused with spiritual energy from Peral Fey. It allows the user to see when someone is hiding something. He can also use it to view Psyche-locks.

Miu: These short stacks appear when someone is lying. For example, if some dumbass lied about being a virgin, Phoenix Wright can use the magatama to see these and quickly provide evidence and logic to break the locks and make them confess. For every lock that's broken, damage is brought to the opponent.

Kokonoe: Phoenix also has three different fighting styles, or modes as he calls them.

Kokonoe: The first mode is investigation mode. This mode focuses keeping his opponents back and gathering evidence.

Miu: He can be vulnerable when using this mode but luckily he has his little side chick, Maya Fey.

Kokonoe: Right. Maya is his right hand as she can create a shield that last a few seconds.

Kokonoe: This shield can protect them from the front and take a few hits but can be overwhelmed.

Miu: She also has a move called Steel Samari Maya Smelting, where she runs to the opponent and throws her fists like a crazy bitch.

Kokonoe: Anyway, moving back to Phoenix, his second mode is Trial Mode. This is a more offensive style based on presenting evidence to attack. These attacks include pointing, sneezing, throwing paper, etc. But one of his most notable techniques come from his speech bubbles.

Miu: What? Does he yell THOT so loud his opponent gets sent flying?

Kokonoe: Close but no. Phoenix only has 2 speech bubbles, the first is when he says "HOLD IT". this can be used in investigation or trial mode as it can freeze his opponents for a brief moment.

Miu: His other speech bubble is his main one, "OBJECTION"! Where he basically lays down the truth so hard it knocks people back, shacks the courtroom, blew up a ventriloquist doll, and shattered some guys cane. And if he hits an Objection three times he gets into his third mode, Turnabout mode.

Kokonoe: In this mode, Phoenix is extremely powerful and his range is extended, making him almost unstoppable on the offense.

Miu: Issue is this mode lasts a limited time and when it ends his ass will be back in investigation mode without a lick of evidence. Why does he need evidence you might ask? Because that's what he uses to fight.

Kokonoe: His evidence is essentially his ammo in a courtroom. It creates projectiles he can use in Trial or Turnabout mode. The knife summons three projectiles that fly forward.

Miu: The Watch creates a fairly fast and durable ball-like projectile that goes a decent amount of distance and The Folder creates a ball-like projectile that moves slow but floats above Phoenix, allowing a good way to block ariel assaults.

Kokonoe: The Vase creates a fast projectile that flies in an upward diagonal direction. The Photo creates a very fast projectile that deals decent damage, however it is fairly easy to avoid and The Phone creates three projectiles balls that stay in front or Wright for a bit, before quickly homing towards the enemy.

Miu: Too bad all this can only be gathered in investigation mode! Oh and he always risks running into bad evidence. But he can easily get rid of that by throwing it at the enemy.

Kokonoe: Phoenix also has Steel Samurai and Princess Pink.

Kokonoe: The heroes of Neo-Olde Tokyo, Phoenix can summon them to lunge at his opponent.

Miu: He's also got Missle! Not an actual missle but a creepy ass dog.

Miu: This mutt belongs to the Criminal Affairs Department and can also be summoned to lunge at his foes.

Kokonoe: Yeah... keep that thing away from me and let's move on to his level 2 super, Order in the Court.

Kokonoe: This move has him summon a nightmare sized judge to slam a giant gavel down on the battlefield.

Miu: This asshole can do this in Trial and Turnabout mode. Once he does it in Trial mode, it gets rid of all the bad evidence and sends him back into investigation mode.

Kokonoe: And last but not least his ultimate, level 3 super, Ace Attorney.

Kokonoe: This move can only be used in Turnabout mode and once it is used it will automatically end Turnabout mode. Phoenix convicts the enemy, presents the evidence to convict them, and finishes them off with a "TAKE THAT!" speech bubble.

Miu: That's it? Ha! Sounds kinda shitty! Though it did somehow end up being one of the most powerful supers in Marvel vs Capcom.

Kokonoe: Well, either way, Phoenix isn't perfect. He's not that big of a fighter and he tends to rely on luck or bluffing. He also can be a bit bubbling and his only good speed feat was dodging a whip.

Miu: He's also got some serious fucking back problems. Like, it's gotten so bad, he literally fell unconscious for a full day!

Kokonoe: Still, if there's ever a case that needs solving, you can count on Phoenix Wright to get the job done.

Phoenix: Why did I become a lawyer in the first place...? Because someone has to look out for the people who have no one on their side.
