Kokonoe: Being the son of Jun Kazama and Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama was raised by his mother all his life. However, one day, a man named Ogre came in and destroyed everything.

Junko: I'm honestly wondering who looked at their child and decided to call him Ogre.

Kokonoe: Having his home destroyed and his mom assumed dead, Jin sought out his only known relative, his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima. Who would eventually raise and train him.

Junko: Oh, a badass old man. He doesn't seem too bad.

Kokenoe: Yeah... he has a bad habit of throwing people off cliffs.

Junko: Oooh... even better!

Kokonoe: *sigh* Anyway, after defeating Ogre, Jin would eventually get betrayed by his grandfather and was shot point blank in the head by him. However, instead of dying, this would soon awaken the Devil Gene inside him.

Junko: But before we get to that, let's talk about his fighting style real quick.

Kokonoe: Right. Jin mainly uses the Kazama style traditional martial arts and combines it with karate techniques.

Junko: Jin can manipulate electricity.

Junko: He can use it to enhance his attacks and probably shoot balls of lightning too. Oh, and he can do the same with fire.

Junko: Basically, he embeds some of his attacks with fire.

Kokonoe: Now that we got those two things out the way, we should talk about the devil gene.

Junko: Thinking about it now, maybe we should have started with that. Oh well.

Kokonoe: The devil gene is a supernatural genetic abnormality in Jin's DNA that he inherited from his father, Kazuya, and his grandmother, Kazumi.

Junko: This grants Jin a huge amount of superhuman power at the cost of his rationality. However, thanks to his mothers blood, he has achieved almost full control over it and can use some of its abilities without turning into a big bad devil man... yet.

Kokenoe: For example, Jin can fire lasers, resist mind and soul manipulation, and even summon an invisible barrier infront of him.

Kokenoe: You know, for protection.

Junko: Yeah, because a badass good guy like that needs protection. Wait.. is he a good guy even though he started a war? Well, not that it matters of course. Still, if Jin ever needed it, he can tap into a Devil Gene's full power and become Devil Jin!

Kokonoe: In this form, Jin becomes a bloodthirsty monster and changes his fighting style to Mishima Style Karate mixed with Kazama Martial Arts.

Junko: He also gains a whole new set of abilities. The most obvious one being flying since I just learned not all wings shoot giant feathers of death.

Kokonoe: He can also shoot a laser out of his forehead.

Kokonoe: This laser is far more powerful than the one he uses in base.

Junko: He can also use telekinesis.

Junko: He uses it to choke out opponent and can even use it to destroy motorcycles!

Kokonoe: Devil Jin is also able to absorb life energy.

Kokonoe: He can use this to, of course, gain even more power.

Junko: Jin is already incredibly strong.

Junko: In his base form he can throw his granddaddy through a wall and casually take down armed soldiers.

Kokonoe: In his Devil form, he can destroy skyscrapers, slice down temples, and cut the mountain-sized Spirit Kyoto in half.

Junko: He's also incredibly fast.

Junko: He once flew to outer space in just a few seconds. Making him far superior to Tekken's fodder bullet timers.

Kokonoe: He's also incredibly durable.

Kokonoe: Able to survive a fall from orbit and even a helicopter exploding in his face. He's also tanked getting shot multiple times.

Junko: Yeah, Jin is incredibly powerful, but he does have his weaknesses. He's constantly restraining his full power and does become much more uncontrollable in his Devil form.

Kokonoe: Not to mention his entire family basically wants to kill each other. Still, if there's anyone who can win that family feud, it's Jin Kazama.

Jin: Power is everything.
