Kokonoe: Throughout history the concept of string has been used in many different ways. But nobody would expect it to be used in the ways these two dangerous self-proclaimed gods use it.

Junko: Donquixote Doflamingo, the Joker of One Piece.

Kokonoe: And Ragyo Kiryuin, the best mom of Kill la kill.

Junko: She's Kokenoe and I'm Junko.

Kokonoe: The analysis is complete and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

In the city of Dressrosa, Ragyo was looking around at all the citizens.

Ragyo: Hmph. What a disappointing country... it will soon be mine...

Ragyo casted out her life fibers and took control of almost every citizen in Dressrosa, creating an army behind her. Suddenly, a giant birdcage appeared around Dressrosa.

Ragyo: Hm?

Doflamingo: Gehehehehe...

Doflamingo started walking towards her with a wide grin on his face.

Doflamingo: You look like you're doing well... that move was quite refreshing to watch. I wonder who can do it better... Parasite thread!

Doflamingo released a bunch of string and took over the bodies of even more citizens, creating an army of his own.

Ragyo: Hmph. You dare mimic me. And what is with this preposterous birdcage?

Doflamingo: It would be no fun if you were to slip away... so I thought of a little present will make things more interesting.

Ragyo was looking at the birdcage. She took one of the citizens and threw them all the way to the top of the cage. That citizen was immediately cut in three as some blood dripped on Ragyo's cheek. She looked back at Doflamingo and smiled as she licked the blood off.

Ragyo: Now things have become a bit more... interesting...

Doflamingo: Then when you're ready...

Raygo: Let's begin!

Ragyo took out her life fiber blades and dashed at Doflamingo. Doffy jumped out as he laughed maniacally. He landed behind her and her head was already cut off. He turned to face her.

Doflamingo: How does it feel to be looked down on?

Ragyo: Tch. What a nuisance.

Ragyo's body dashed at him and went for a kick. Doflamingo used his arms to block the kick as he was quickly sent back far. Ragyo picked up her head and reattached it. She dashed at him again.

Doflamingo: Tamaito!

Doflamingo started shooting bullets of string at Ragyo, who immediately started dodging them. Ragyo swung her blades at him.

Doflamingo: Goshikito!

Doflamingo swung his string and they clashed. Both of them quickly got back.

Doflamingo: I will admit... you really are persistent... still...

Doflamingo held out his hand and started creating a clone out of string.

Doflamingo: There's nothing I hate more... than someone who doesn't know their place.

Doflamingo and his clone dashed at her and swung their strings rapidly. Ragyo used her blades to block them with ease. She slashed at the clone and cut him in half. Doflamingo went for a haki infused kick but Ragyo blocked it and sent him flying into the sky. Doflamingo stopped midair and Ragyo quickly flew up after him.

Doflamingo: Overheat!

Doflamingo shot a flaming string that sent Ragyo through buildings and had one collapse onto her.

Doflamingo: Gehehehehe... hm?

Suddenly, an explosion came out of the rubble as Ragyo stood up wearing a kamui. She wasted little time in activating it as she wore it tightly.

Ragyo: Life Fiber Override, Godride Junketsu!

Doflamingo: Eh?

Doflamingo got back to the ground.

Ragyo: Now then, prepare to taste true power.

Doflamingo: ... Gehehe... Gehehehehe.... GeheheheGahahahaha!

Ragyo dashed at him and went for a punch but Doflamingo blocked it with his foot. The impact created a shockwave that caused buildings to shatter around them. Ragyo grabbed his leg and threw him into the sky. She then grabbed a building and threw it at him with one arm.

Doflamingo: Kumo no Sugaki!

Doflamingo created a giant spider web that easily blocked the giant building coming at him. Ragyo then flew up at him in a blinding speed.

Doflamingo: Fulbright!

Doflamingo shot five spikes made of strings out his hands and they all stabbed Ragyo in the chest. Raygo was about to fall to the ground but Doflamingo used a string to pull her up to him. He bragged her by the arms and put her in a T pose.

Ragyo: What are you doing? Unhand me!

Doflamingo: Gehehehehe... true power? Gimme a break... all you did was put on a fancy new outfit. There's nothing true about you.... However....

Doflamingo wrapped his leg around her arm as a string attached to the heel of his foot.

Doflamingo: I will be glad to give you the true sense of despair!

The two of them quickly started falling. They were going faster and faster the closer they got to the ground.

Doflamingo: Itonoko!

As soon as they landed, the string on Doflamingo's foot cut Ragyo's arm clean off.

Ragyo: Gah!

Doflamingo laughed louder as he got off her. He stood above her and lifted his foot. He coated his foot in haki as he was about to stomp on her face. She quickly rolled out of the way and flipped to her feet.

Doflamingo: How dare you move out the way.

Ragyo: Oh just shut up human!

Ragyo kicked him in the chest hard enough to send him flying miles away through tons of buildings. Raygo picked up her arm and tried to reattach it but with little luck.

Raygo: What? .... I see... he jammed the cut, making it difficult to reattach my arm even though a life fiber is still attached... Hmph.

Raygo ripped the life fiber from the cut off arm and tossed it to the side, letting it disappear behind her. She then used her life fibers to create a new arm for herself.

Ragyo: It seems this man doesn't know what he's gotten himself into...

Doflamingo was lying on the ground. A wide grin still stuck on his face.

Doflamingo: Human she says? .... No....

Doflamingo started to get up as multiple citizens controlled by Ragyo started to surround him. He used Conquerors Haki and they all passed out.

Doflamingo: Gehehehehe... no... I'm completely different from these mere humans...

Doflamingo raised his hand and the giant birdcage started to very slowly close in.

Ragyo: Hm?

Ragyo saw as most of the buildings turned to string. Doflamingo flew up in the air and she flew up after him.

Ragyo: Do you really think you can get away from me?!

Suddenly, a white tentacle made of string swatted her into a building.

Ragyo: What?!

Doflamingo: Gehehehehe!

More and more buildings started turning into strings as they formed multiple tentacles.

Doflamingo: White Pillow.

The tentacles started pouncing on Ragyo over and over again. Ragyo quickly pushed them away and dashed at Doflamingo, her arm turning into a drill as she went to stab him.

Doflamingo: Off White!

Two waves of string quickly swiped at her, blocking her attack. Suddenly, strings wrapped around Ragyo's entire body like a cocoon.

Doflamingo: Break White!

The strings all tightened up, crushing her body. Doflamingo smiled and turned around when suddenly the string cocoon started glowing a rainbow.

Doflamingo: Hm?

Suddenly, the cocoon blew up and out came Ragyo wearing a completely different kamui.

Ragyo: I will admit, you have fought well for a human. But now you face the ultimate kamui! Shinra-Koketsu!

Doflamingo: Tch. Gimme a break. Ever White!

Half of Dressrosa turned into string as the birdcage started to close in a bit faster.  a bunch of string tentacles rose from the ground and went to try and stab her. Ragyo continued to fly around dodging them. She turned her arms into spikes and went to try and stab Doflamingo. But as soon as she let her gaurd down, two tentacles stabbed right through her. She quickly got back and saw three other tentacles coming after her. She quickly went to dodge them.

Ragyo: Tch! I can't get close with all these freaking string!

A bunch of string suddenly grabbed Ragyo's arms.

Doflamingo: Thousand arrows... Flap String!

Doflamingo sent thousands of arrows at Ragyo and they all stabbed her in every direction.

Doflamingo: Gehehahaha! Now you see? Compared to me you're no god... you're just a freak playing dress up.

All the tentacles went out of Ragyo's body. Ragyo suddenly smiled.

Ragyo: What? You call this power? Please. I have more power in my pinkie toe!

Doflamingo: Tch.

Doflamingo sent the tentacles back at her but she was already dodging as she dashed as she flew towards him. The lower portion of her body turned into a rocket as she started to speed up. None of the strings could catch her as she was right in front of Doflamingo and punched him, sending him flying. He quickly stopped midair.

Ragyo: Now then... I'm going to get rid of my humanity and show you the difference in our power!

Ragyo started to transform. She grew horns and looked more like a monster than before. Multiple tentacles came out her wings and Doflamingo quickly went to dodge them. One was heading straight at him. Doflamingo quickly used haki to protect himself as he was sent flying back.

Ragyo: Now... prepare to die!

Doflamingo: God Thread!

Doflamingo summoned 16 thick strings and sent them flying at her as she sent 16 sharp tentacles at him. They both ended up stabbing straight through each other.

Doflamingo: ... ... ...

Ragyo: ... ... ... Ehehehe... Ahahahaha!

Ragyo started stabbing Doflamingo's body a thousand more times as she cut off his head. She grabbed his head and shredded his body into nothing but blood and guts. All Doflamingo's string disappeared as Ragyo looked at his head.

Ragyo: I think I'll be hanging you up my wall.

Raygo had a crazed look in her eyes as she looked at the carnage they caused and laughed.

Junko: Holy cow! That's one crazy mama!

Kokonoe: This was an interesting matchup. Going into this, one would think it were just another one sided battle. But Doflamingo has definitely proved to be a worthy foe.

Junko: These two are around the same age but Doffy has had experience using string far longer than Ragyo and his intelligence in battle was equal, if not better than her own.

Kokonoe: As far as strength goes, Ragyo has been shown to rip Life Fibers with ease, which have been stated to be several times harder than steel. On the other hand, Doflamingo can be easily scaled to Sanji. Sanji is strong enough to destroy a pacifista in one kick. A pacifista's body is said to be stronger than steel so even lowballing both feats ye can say they should be at least close in physical strength. And as for speed, Raygo was far faster than Doflamingo, but Doflamingo's devil fruit and the fact that Raygo fights up close, helped make it difficult for Ragyo to get a good hit in.

Junko: Okay, but what's better? Doffy's Ito Ito no mi or Ragyo's Life Fibers?

Kokonoe: While Ragyo's life fibers have been shown to clash with blades and cut through the human body like butter, Doflamingo's string has been shown to be much stronger. Able to cut meteors and giant steel pillars.

Junko: And it's not like Raygo could take over Doffy's mind either. Doffy can just resist it with his own superior willpower. And a fast enough opponent like Raygo could easily avoid Doffy's parasite, so it's not like he can control Raygo either. Either way, Doffy definitely had just about everything but speed that could help him in this matchup, so shy didn't he take this?

Kokonoe: It's because despite his advantages and larger arsenal, he didn't have a real way to take her down thanks to her superior healing factor. Even if you cut her to pieces you couldn't permanently bring her down unless you destroy her heart.

Junko: Yeah, and the chances of Doffy finding that out are actually pretty slim.

Kokonoe: In the end, Doflamingo had used everything in his arsenal but Ragyo's superior speed and unique healing factor gave her the edge she needed to win this.

Junko: And all the kings horses and all the kings men, wouldn't stitch a
Doffy's head together again.

Kokonoe: The winner is Ragyo Kiryuin.

Junko: Next time on Death Battle!
