Kokonoe: As an eight year old world noble, Donquixote Doflamingo could have gotten whatever he wanted. Money, power, even slaves. The only issue is, his father didn't want that.

Junko: Yeah, while the other world nobles were dicks, his dad was one of the few boring ones who wanted to live among the citizens. And that's what he did. He literally sent his family out to live a normal life and nothing went wrong at all... ... ... yeah, no. Even I'm not dumb enough to believe that.

Kokonoe: Once the citizens found out a family of world nobles were living among them, they went insane. Hunting down their family everywhere they went. Eventually, Doflamingo's mother passed away from illness and Doflamingo learned the feeling of pain and hunger for the first time in his life.

Junko: Then one day, he met Trebol who decided to guide him among the right path, giving the young Doffy a gun and a devil fruit.

Kokonoe: And from all oth hell his father put him through, we all know what he used the gun for.

Junko: Aw look. A little Doffy with an itty bitty gun. Why are you aiming it at the back of your dad's-

BAM!

Junko: Ooooh... that's why.

Kokonoe: After killing his father in cold blood, Doflamingo formed a new family and became one of the most dangerous pirates in the world.

Junko: And now wanting to watch the world burn, he ate the perfect devil fruit to get the job done. Well, sorta... Doffy ate the Ito Ito no mi or the string-string fruit.

Junko: This turned Doffy into a string man and granted him the ability to create and manipulate strings. And you might be thinking: "Strings? Well those aren't that bad." But you'd be surprised at how creative this guy is with his devil fruit. First, his string are extremely thin. Making them almost invisible. They're also extremely sharp, being able to cut down an entire meteor into tiny pieces and cut the leg off Oars jr in one swift movement. Oars jr was larger than giants.

Kokonoe: Along with this, he has a large amount of techniques he can use. One of his most iconic being his parasite strings.

Kokonoe: By attaching a string to the spine of his target, he can control their entire body. With this technique, Doflamingo can control an entire civilization if he really wants to.

Junko: He can also use Goshikito.

Junko: Literally meaning Five Color Strings, Doffy slashes the target with five strings coming out his fingers.

Kokonoe: Then there's his flammable technique, Overheat.

Kokonoe: This is used when Doflamingo shoots a thick, flaming rope made of strings out of his palm. This long whip ranges up to many kilometers and is still powerful enough to cut through a building.

Junko: Next is Tamaito.

Junko: Literally meaning string bullet, Doffy fires string out of his index fingers as it has the same affect as a shot gun.

Kokonoe: If that wasn't ridiculous enough, he has Black Knight.

Kokonoe: This is when he literally creates a clone of himself out of string. Said clone is skilled enough to preform combined attacks alongside Doflamingo and can even swat Luffy's jet pistol like a fly.

Junko: And if that wasn't crazy enough, he can use his string to help him fly!

Kokonoe: Well, he's not actually flying. He's using a technique called Sora no Michi or sky road. This is when he somehow attaches his strings to the clouds, which let's him move freely in the air.

Junko: In other words... he's flying...

Kokonoe:... Yeah I guess so.

Junko: He can also use Fulbright which allows him to shoot down five detached string from his hand to impale his victims. Then there's Itonoko. Literally meaning fretsaw, he can create a string from the heel of his foot and cut his opponents limbs off. The produced cut is jabbed, making it difficult to reattach.

Kokonoe: There's also his Kumo no Sugaki or Spiders web. This let's him create a huge spider web of strings to protect him from almost anything. It can easily block towers being thrown at him and can even withstand Luffy's giant Haki infused Gear 3rd.

Junko: Yeah, but one of Doffy's best attacks has to be the Tarikago.

Junko: Literally meaning Birdcage, Doffy creates a giant dome of string that covers an entire island! Doffy can slowly shrink it, allowing it to cut through almost anything! Except things like sea prism stone or Haki of course. Hell, not even meteorites could do anything! They just got cut to pieces!

Kokonoe: That's not all. Doflamingo has also awakened his devil fruit.

Kokonoe: This allows him to turn anything that isn't a living organism into string. Essentially making the entire battlefield his domain and giving him a whole new set of skills in his already impressive arsenal.

Junko: For example, Pillow White.

Junko: This let's him turn several buildings into towering masses of string and send them at his opponents.

Kokonoe: There's also Break White.

Kokonoe: This let's him create two large, thick sheets of string that wrap around his opponents and crush them.

Junko: Then there's Off White.

Junko: Where he creates two large masses of string from the ground and swipes at his opponent. This can be used offensively or defensively.

Kokonoe: He also has Ever White.

Kokonoe: Where he turns a vast amount of the surrounding area into string. This can be used to attack his opponents from every direction or simply hold them down.

Junko: Or it can let him use his next attack, Flap Thread.

Junko: He condenses a vast amount of string from Ever White into countless points and sends them at his opponent in the form of two wings.

Kokonoe: Then there's his "holy ammunition" known as God Thread.

Kokonoe: Doflamingo summons sixteen thick strings and sends them forward in a piercing formation.

Junko: Yeah, Doffy's devil fruit isn't all he has though. He can also use Haki, a mysterious power that allows the user to utilize their spiritual energy for various purposes. There are three types of Haki and Doffy is one of the few who can use them all.

Kokonoe: The first one is Observation Haki. Allowing him to predict the movements of others, sometimes without even looking.

Junko: Then there's Armament Haki.

Junko: This is a sort of invisible armor that increase the effects of Doffy's attacks, especially when he coats it around his string.

Kokonoe: And finally, Conquerors Haki.

Kokonoe: Said to be given to those who can become a king, this allows Doflamingo to use his will power to knock out weaker opponents.

Junko: Oh, we almost forgot. This guy is also extremely durable. I mean, he literally fought for hours on in after this guy named Law sliced his stomach open with an attack that is so powerful it destroys your internal organs.

Kokonoe: That is because another unique aspect of his devil fruit is that it stitched up any damage done to his body.

Kokonoe: Of course, I don't know about severed limbs or things like that, but any minor damage can be healed using this technique.

Junko: Stitching your internal organs back together? That doesn't sound like the safest method of healing yourself...

Kokonoe: It's not... Doflamingo isn't a miracle worker after all. He does have his weaknesses.

Junko: Yeah, he has the standard weaknesses like the fact he can't swim and seaprism stone nullifies his power. Also, his birdcage only last as long as he's conscious.

Kokonoe: He can also be very arrogant, often leading to him underestimating his opponents.

Junko: Still, he's not someone to look down on either. In fact, it took the combined help of both Luffy and Law to finally take him down and finally lock him away.
