Junko: In the world of RWBY, there are many types of humans. But all humans are equal weather your black, white, or red. As long as you're not orange.

Kokonoe: But where there are humans, there is also another species which humans see as nothing but a bunch of animals. These are Faunus, a species that looks like a human with only one animal trait.

Junko: So no, Kokonoe is not a Faunus... though she could be mistaken as one.

Kokonoe: Anyway, for so long now, humans have looked down on Faunus. Eventually, an organization called the White Fang formed with peaceful protest against Faunus discrimination. Their leader was Ghira, and among the White Fang stood his daughter, Blake Belladonna.

Junko: Eventually her father stepped down and a new leader took his place. Blake stayed a member for a while and even got a boyfriend in Adam! Of course, this new leader wasn't exactly for peaceful protesting as the White Fang would eventually become a violent terrorist group, taking what they want by force and gaining respect through fear! That's my kinda style!

Kokonoe: Of course, other sane people would think otherwise, like Blake. Not wanting anything to do with the group, she dumped Adam and left.

Junko: Booo. Well, at least she joined Beacon, an Academy made to fight deadly beast known as Grimm.

Kokonoe: Blake became a member of team RWBY as one of it's more serious members and a very skilled fighter among the team.

Junko: Her weapon of choice is Gambol Shroud!

Junko: A “Variant Ballistic Chain-scythe” that's likely the most complex weapon in the series.

Kokonoe: It's a katana that turns into a pistol. The blade leaves a trail of purple energy and Blake can shoot it to swing waves of energy.

Junko: The hilt of the weapon is also attached to a ribbon.

Junko: This allows Blake to use it like a Kusari-gama and a grappling hook. She can also use the ribbon to fire the pistol from afar.

Kokonoe: Her sheathe can also be used as a blade.

Kokonoe: Allowing her to dual-wield two blades. She can also spin to create a ring of destruction.

Junko: Of course, her best tricks come from her aura.

Kokonoe: In the RWBY universe, aura is the manifestation of one's soul. It's something every living thing aside from Grimm possess as it increases Blake's speed, strength, and durability.

Junko: Her aura can be used for defense.

Junko: Stopping any attack as long as it remains active. With little effort, Blake can use this to form a barrier. Her aura can also heal minor wounds.

Kokonoe: Not just that. Everyone has a unique manifestation of ones aura called a semblance and Blake is no different. Blake's semblance is called Shadow.

Kokonoe: This semblance allows Blake to create clones of herself to take hits for her. If she wants, this clone can act independently for a short while. The effects of the clone can also be altered using dust.

Junko: Like the stuff that makes you sneeze?

Kokonoe: Um... no. Dust, by definition, is a naturally occurring energy propellant that can be triggered by the Aura of Humans and Faunus. There are different types, like fire dust.

Kokonoe: Which Blake can use to make a clone that explodes upon contact.

Junko: Don't worry. Blake's fast enough to outrun the explosion.

Kokonoe: Blake also has Earth dust.

Kokonoe: Allowing Blake to make a clone out of durable, solid rock that she can use as a shield.

Junko: She can also use ice dust to make an ice clone.

Junko: When timed right, this can easily trap her opponents, leaving them open for attack.

Kokonoe: Then there's her dark dust.

Kokonoe: Allowing her to make a clone that explodes when struck and creates a haze that blocks vision.

Junko: Blake is incredibly strong.

Junko: She's strong enough to slice through steel beams and her attacks can easily one-shot human-sized robots and Grimm.

Kokonoe: She's traded blows with her ex boyfriend, Adam, who is strong enough to break through ones aura with a single strike.

Junko: She sliced through a Dragon's wing and even broke free from a spider Faunus' web.

Kokonoe: Blake is also incredibly fast.

Junko: Blake's speed can be comparable to Ruby's, whose noted as one of the fastest characters in the show.

Kokonoe: Blake can strike dozens of times in an instant and has even dodged lightning from a Sea Dragon.

Junko: Then there's her durability.

Junko: She survived getting stabbed by Adam and, for the most part, ignored the injury. She's also tanked hits from Grimm and giant robots on a daily basis.

Kokonoe: Not just that, but thanks to her aura, she can survive wounds that would normally kill a normal person, like bullets to the head.

Junko: And she's an incredibly skilled fighter.

Junko: Capable of taking out several trained fighters and has even helped fight off an army of Grimm. Plus, with her Faunus senses, she can see in the dark as well as have advanced hearing and smell.

Kokonoe: Right, but she's not perfect. She's physically the weakest of team RWBY, excluding maybe Weiss, relying more on stealth and tactics to win a fight. Also, her aura does have limitations. Too much damage to it can exhaust it and cause it to break, leaving her vulnerable.

Junko: Yeah, well, at least Blake finally killed off her psycho boyfriend and started going out with Yang. Even doing the honors of cutting her own hair to get Yang's attention. Welp, sorry Blacksun, Bumblebee has won the ship wars and nobody else can say otherwise!

Blake: We're not going to destroy the White Fang. We're going to take it back.
