Mukuro: Not much is known about the purple guy, William Afton. Sure there are some theories but not much about his past.

Ann: What we do know is that he was the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment alongside his best friend, Henry. Together they came up with the most brilliant idea... create mechanical mascots that can be worn by humans! 

Neptune: Because those things aren't already scary enough...

Mitsuru: You're scared of the Mascots?

Neptune: Don't care what kind they are... I can't stop getting nightmares from them...

Mukuro: ... ... I'll go... stand in the corner over there...

Kokonoe: Still, there were some drawbacks to these Animatronics. If you don't put them on right or if even the slightest hint of moister touches them, they could snap shut and kill whoever is inside. Despite this obvious issue, both Henry and Afton decided to use them anyway, but train their employers how to wear them so that nobody could get hurt.

Neptune: Yep. What could possibly go wrong? ... Everything... Everything went wrong... and it all started with a birthday party of one of Afton's sons... the crying child!

Kokonoe: This crying child was getting bullied a lot by his older brother, Micheal Afton. And one day Micheal took it too far. You see, the crying child was afraid of the Animatronics built by his father and since none of them knew about the flaws of the Animatronics, Micheal thought it was a great idea to put his little brother's head into the Golden Freddy animatronic and-

Neptune: Thus creating the Bite of '87!

Kokonoe: Actually, this was the Bite of '83. The Bite of '87 happened... well... four years later. Regardless this caused the Golden Freddy and Spring Bonnie costumes to be locked up and replaced with the Animatronics we're more familiar with. 

Neptune: You know... Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. But the two old Animatronics will still come back eventually.

Kokonoe: Regardless, the death of his son caused William to go mad. One day, during the birthday party of Henry's daughter, Charlotte, he found her locked outside her own party. Still enraged by what happened to his son, he came up to Henry's daughter and murdered her.

Ann: After that, Afton grew obsessed with murdering other kids. So he would dress up as Spring Bonnie and lure kids in to kill them. He even killed a dog... I think. 

Neptune: In order to get rid of the evidence, he would stuff the corpse into the Animatronics. Though there was one kid who was murdered a bit too brutally... probably shouldn't have killed that one.

Ann: Nope. But hey, it's not like he was expecting the ghost of his victims to literally come back and haunt him... which is exactly what happened.

Kokonoe: Not knowing what to do, William Afton hid himself inside the Spring Bonnie Animatronic suit. However, whether he forgot about the drawback of that old suit or because of the moisture in the building, the suit snapped on him and crushed him inside, causing him to bleed everywhere. Not too long after, Henry would find him. Knowing of all the terrible things Afton has done, he would leave his old friend for dead...

Neptune: Except he didn't die. He came back more angry and deranged than ever. He came back... as Springtrap.

Mukuro: Even as a human, he was strong enough to tear apart the other Animatronics with his bare hands and has even killed a police officer with ease. As Springtrap, he's much stronger. Like other animatronics, he can crush a human body with little to no effort. He's overpowered a teenager and crushed Charlie's windpipe, Funtime Freddy's jaw with a stomp, and even tore apart Glamrock endos. e should also be comparable to Freddy himself, who can toss arcade machines like they were ragdolls.

Neptune: He's also surprisingly fast for a rotten body in a bunny suit.

Neptune: I mean, he's shown to be much faster than the other animatronics that he's caught off guard. This includes Foxy, who runs at speeds of at least 13 meters a second. He's also much faster than normal human beings and can move between camera locations within Fazbear's Fright in only a few seconds.

Kokonoe: He's also pounced on Charlie at... "preternatural" speeds. Not only is he fast but he's durable. 

Ann: Yeah, as a human he's survived the Bonny suit snapping on him countless times in the past. He's even removed his own flesh just to test his mortality... um... why?

Mukuro: As Springtrap he's much more durable. He's been impaled, shot, beaten down by a metal pipe, and burned alive on several occasions. He's even survived an entire building collapsing on top of him.

Kokonoe: Springtrap is resistant to piercing attacks and mental ones too. He's also resistant to fire having been burned so many times. He doesn't need to eat or sleep or even breathe to survive and he also maintains his genius intellect.

Kokonoe: Despite being a psychopath, Springtrap is very elusive and stealthy, as he always hid in the darker corners of the cameras. He also retains the intelligence of William Afton, who is an expert in the field of robotics. 

Neptune: This is the same guy who made a liquid that lets you communicate with the dead! 

Kokonoe: On top of that, not only has he made most of the Sister Location Animatronics but he's also made the Illusion Disc.

Kokonoe: These illusion discs emit high-pitched audio to change the victims' perspective views. When William Afton made them, he hooked them into his Twisted Animatronics.

Kokonoe: Created by Afton Robotics, LLC, the twisted animatronics are designed to lure and kill their victims using Springlock mechanisms. With the Illusion Discs, they can make their victims see the twisted animatronics in a different way depending on their memories.

Mukuro: As with the Nightmare Animatronics, the twisted Animatronics seem to have shared personality traits. In this case, they are all subservient purely to their creator, William Afton, but have also exhibited relentlessness when chasing their victims, and ruthlessness when killing them. Although built purely to kill whomsoever Afton tells them to, they have been known to lash out violently whenever provoked.

Kokonoe: Though only five of the seven are actually canon. That being Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Wolf.

Ann: With those claws and teeth... yeah... those things are defiantly extremely dangerous...

Matpat: It's also likely that Springtrap used the Illusion Disc on himself as seen in FNAF 3. It would also explain why he turns into Dark Springtrap whenever he gets really angry. But hey, that's just a theory... a Game Theory!

Neptune: What the? Matpat? Get out of here!

Matpat: Aww...

Neptune: Anyway, as far as standard equipment goes, he has a knife!

Neptune: Okay, why does the giant murderous robot need a knife? More importantly, who gave the giant murderous robot a knife?!

Ann: He also has a Bone Dagger. As well as a mallet and a shield though those are different versions of Springtrap so that might not come up. Regardless, who needs a weapon when you're eight foot tall and over nine hundred pounds? 

Neptune: Well he did die in a fire... so he can't be too bad.

Kokonoe: Sorta. He actually survived.

Ann: Um... How exactly did he come back this time?

Kokonoe: By uploading his consciousness into an AI and becoming Glitchtrap.

Kokonoe: The digital manifestation of William Afton. It's better to say he's more of a virus than anything else as he has full control of the digital world to the point that it allows Springtrap to hack into and control almost any machine in the outside world. It can even hack into a human and make them go insane.

Neptune: In the virtual world, Glitchtrap can take any form he wants. It could be the sun, the moon, or dark and monstrous bunnies with sharp teeth. He's also completely immortal in this form. The only way to kill him is to get rid of all his code! But that doesn't mean he's unbeatable.

Mukuro: Right. Despite his genius, Springtrap is very cocky and arrogant. He also has... um... a really bad obsession with murdering children. To the point where if he ever heard a child's voice, he would literally stop everything he was doing and go to that voice. He's even walked into the trap set by Henry simply because he couldn't resist the opportunity to murder more kids. Which is what caused one of his four deaths.

Neptune: Still, the guy has died four times. I think it's safe to say that out of all the Animatronics, Springtrap is defiantly one of the most dangerous.
