Dizzy: Um Monika, wrong script.

Monika: Oh, my bad. Ahem... Long ago, a Black Beast was causing chaos across the world. Thankfully a team of seven heroes rose up to stop this monster. Hakumen, Nine the Phantom, Jubei, Platinum the Trinity, Valkenhayn R. Hellsing, and Yuki Terumi. Two of these heroes, Nine and Jubei, just so happened to be two of the strongest beings in the Blazblue universe. The two would fall in love and even have a child, Kokonoe Mercury.

Dizzy: Wait, but isn't Jubei a cat?

Monika: Yeah, we'll get to that. Anyway, Nine wouldn't have a lot of time with her daughter. Not long after she was born, Nine ended up getting betrayed by... to the surprise of no one... Yuki Terumi.

Dizzy: Right, Terumi pretty much managed to singlehandedly take out and disband the Seven Heroes. Afterward, Jubei left Kokonoe under the care of the NOL and pretty much abandoned her. 

Monika: Because of all this, Kokonoe had a bit of a grudge against her father as well as a desire to avenge her mother. So she rose up the ranks of the NOL and became the head scientist of Sector Seven.

Monika: They're basically the intelligence department of the NOL, which makes sense considering Kokonoe's high level of intelligence. Of course, it would also be going against the NOL since the NOL is kinda... corrupt... to nobody's surprise.

Dizzy: And it's no surprise that Kokonoe is in charge. Especially with how incredibly smart and powerful she is.

Monika: Being the daughter of two of the most powerful people in Blazblue, Kokonoe might very well be among the strongest herself, with a fighting style similar to that of the Kaka clans. She's definitely stronger than characters like Makoto, who can punch you so hard it sends you to the moon and shatters it. 

Dizzy: She's fought and blitzed Iron Tager, who survived atmospheric re-entry and could fly into the exosphere and back in a few seconds, at 0.01% the speed of light. She also beat Azreal, who can break out of 17 layers of gravitational bindings and rip through entire dimensions.

Akame: She's gone up against Nine, Kagura, Relius, and even Hakumen, who reacted to Bang's lightspeed technique. She's also beaten Terumi, who could reach into the Takamagahara System in 1/480000th of a second.

Monika: As you can see, Kokonoe is incredibly durable, often taking hits from some powerful opponents without a sign of damage. She's more durable than Ragna, Jin, and Noel, all of whom can take a laser powerful enough to wipe out entire cities. She's even taken a dip in the Boundary without getting overwhelmed with Seithr.

Akame: Kokonoe is also extremely smart.

Monika: Right, there are very few who can rival Kokonoe's scientific mind. She's created tons of inventions such as a dimensional prison, a teleportation device to teleport herself and others, and a pocket reality made entirely out of data. She's once even implanted a bomb into Ragna that would blow him up from every dimension and timeline if he got too far from Celica.

Akame: As stated earlier, Kokonoe's father is, in fact, a cat... making Kokonoe herself half-beastkin. Because of this, all of her senses are enhanced greatly. She's also an Observer.

Monika: An Observer is as the name implies. It's someone who observes and acknowledges the events they see around them. Kokonoe used to observe Arakune and had temporarily observed Hakumen but she's now observing both Iron Tager and Lambda-11. As an Observer, she also gets access to Phenomena Intervention.

Monika: Also known as Event Interference, it's an act of interference on existences and events. Interference occurs when someone with a will Observes the event. This ability can change its target's state from "exist" to "not exist" and vice versa. If it cannot be determined if the target actually "exists" or not, it is almost impossible to perform an Event Interference. Since a sudden disappearance of the target would shock those surrounding it, their memories are altered as well. An Event Interference also allows the user to erase one reality and overwrite it with another In other words, it imposes a result of a certain phenomenon from a parallel world into the current world. Changing a possibility into reality.

Dizzy: She's not the strongest at using this ability but she can still use it to erase others from existence, move others to a different location, or even nullify and resist another user of Phenomena Intervention. Even Carl has been able to use this to stop time.

Monika: And since she's an Observer, she's a being that exists outside of logic. So any abilities, weapons, and powers that are restrained by Logic can't harm her. Kokonoe is nearly impossible to kill because of that. However, she can be harmed by things that exist outside of logic like magic, which she is incredibly good at using.

Monika: Magic is a type of Art that utilizes Seithr to activate certain spells. infamous for having been combined with science to create the most widely learned Art, Ars Magus, at which Kokonoe also excels at. She's actually naturally gifted thanks to her mother.

Dizzy; She actually doesn't use magic that often, but it's also not the only thing she's good at. She can also use Alchemy.

Dizzy: Alchemy is one of the three lost Arts alongside sorcery and magic, having been primarily practiced in the Mage's Guild. Being part of its curriculum, all students were taught the Art while it also remained a crucial component in the selection of one of the Ten Sages. After the Dark War, alchemy users became much rarer across the globe with most of their knowledge being lost.

Monika: The difference between Alchemy and Magic is that Alchemy requires the environment around Kokonoe in order to be used. She can't create new things out of nothing, but she can create earth walls, spears, and more so long as she knows the basics.

Dizzy: Something she shouldn't have a problem with since her use of magic is so advanced she used it to take down the Black Beast itself. She can even use it to link herself to the Boundary and increase her strength and power.

Akame: Of course, we haven't even gotten into her arsenal yet.

Akame: While Kokonoe has a lot of power, she prefers to use her inventions in battle. She's even got a device that lets her summon her weapons to her. Like her two giant wrenches, a helmet, a Mecha Canon, drill hammers, flamethrowers, jackhammers, brass knuckles, Gatling guns, a grappling hook, a baseball bat, and much more. 

Dizzy: She also has Kushinada's Linchpin... or at least a smaller and weaker version of it. This device paralyzes anyone who makes physical contact with her, though only for a few seconds.

Akame: Her main weapon is the Graviton Capacitor. 

Akame: made to either pull her opponents closer to it or push them away from it. She can summon more than one and they help give Kokonoe complete control over the battlefield.

Monika: It also affects some of her weapons like the Armament No. 04α: "Sweltering Flame Cage Ver. 1.43".

Akame: A small gun that shoots out a big fireball. She has a bigger version called the Armament No. 04β: "Hyper-Torrid Flame Bellborg Ver. 2.73".

Dizzy: She also has the Armament No. 03: "Freezing Absolute Zero Ver. 4.32".

Dizzy: A gun that freezes her target in ice that reaches Absolute Zero degrees. Once her opponent is completely in ice, she takes out a Gatling gun and fires rapidly at them. This is the same ice that froze Azreal.

Monika: On top of that is her Armament No. 05: "Banishing Ray Lightning Strike Ver. 3.10".

Monika: Another little device that creates an electric pillar both vertically and horizontally once activated. There's also the Armament No. 06: "Layer Haze Transition Ver. 1.24" which lets her teleport. 

Dizzy: And if she wants to get a little physical, she has the Armament No. 02 "Broken Bunker Assault Ver. 2.21".

Dizzy: A pair of enhanced arms, allowing Kokonoe to perform rocket punches and even launch these massive fists at her opponent.

Monika: And it doesn't end there. Kokonoe still has her Overdrive, Distortion, and Exceed Axel.

Monika: The first one is the Armament No. 07: "Jamming Dark Gravity Ver. 1.65", where she shoves her Silvervine Candy and has it turn into a Black Hole! Seriously, what is in that stuff?

Dizzy: There's also Armament No. 00: "Super Dreadnought of Destruction, Mecha Tager" and Armament No. 01: "Super Dreadnought of Annihilation, Golden Tager"... also known simply as Mecha Tager and Golden Tager. Both of these two are giant versions of Iron Tager that Kokonoe can summon and both can fire blasts of energy out of their chest, with Golden Tager being the stronger of the two.

Akame: Finally there's her Armament No. 11: "Full Metal Heavy Weapon Extermination Ver. 2.05". Kokonoe punches the opponent away staggering them, she then sends a barrage of missiles at the opponent. They then bounce towards Kokonoe who finishes with electrocuting them, which causes an explosion.

Monika: Of course, she still has her Astral Finish... Armament No. 99: "The Ultimate Impact Final Apocalypse"...

Monika: Kokonoe grabs her opponent before unleashing a flurry of rapid-fire punches before kicking them into a large mechanical device that holds them in place. She then uses her magic to release a gigantic meteor from the sky to crash into the Earth on top of her opponent! Yeah... she's just that good.

Dizzy: Good but still flawed...

Dizzy: Kokonoe isn't perfect. Her cockiness can cloud her judgment and cause a fatal error. Plus, despite her powerful bloodline, her body is weaker than both of her parents.

Akame: She's also addicted to Silvervine Candy to the point that she needs it in order to constantly push her body past her limits. Without it, she could end up collapsing from exhaustion.

Monika: But still, Kokonoe is one of the smartest people there is. And once she sets her sights on a goal, she'll do whatever it takes to get the job done.
