Junko: If I had a nickel for every time some friendly-looking creature that shouldn't be able to speak but can anyway, had turned out to be an overpowered 4th-wall-breaking god who manipulates the MC to cause chaos throughout the world, I'd have two nickles... which isn't much but it's still weird that it happened twice.

Kokonoe: In his early-

Junko: Hold on, what happened to Neptune?

Kokonoe: Change of plans now that Monika's back. Nobody trusts her so I'm here to make sure she doesn't try anything.

Junko: That... actually makes sense. Guess it's just me and you then like old times!

Kokonoe: Now then, in his earlier years, Asriel Dreemurr was the biological child of Torei and Asgore, the rulers of the Underground. As such, he would be the one to be next in line to the throne.

Junko: That is until the gender-neutral human named Chara popped out of nowhere!

Kokonoe: The Dreemurr family adopted Chara as one of their own. Together, Asriel and Chara became good friends. Soon after however, Asriel discovered his sibling's strong hatred for the entire human race, and while he ignored it at first, he soon became an unwitting pawn in Chara's plan, in that they would eat fresh buttercups and fuse with Asriel's soul to get out of the Underground and earn revenge on the humans.

Junko: Too bad Asriel was a pussy and backed out right when things were getting good! As a result, he returned to the Underground, where he perished in the flower garden! After that, the infuriated King Asgore declared war on humanity, which resulted in the humans building a barrier between them and the Underworld.

Kokonoe: Years later, Alphys injected Determination into the Flowerbed that Asriel died on, reviving him, but the resulting being was nothing like the original Asriel, being without a soul, and devoid of emotion. However, it had the ability to have the will to live. He tried to feel something but failed, and upon discovering the SAVE and LOAD ability that he had, he began creating a series of countless timelines in which he'd live out each possibility that he could think of. Eventually, his interest finally rekindled in Frisk, someone who reminded him of the friend he lost so long ago. At that point in time, he took the name Flowey and adopted the motto of "Kill or be Killed."

Kokonoe: Flowey is incredibly strong, using his vines to restrain the entire monster race. He can also hold elevator doors shut with ease and dig through stone and solid metal. He can move quickly through the Underground by traveling through the ground and has even proven himself faster than Frisk.

Junko: And Frisk is fast enough to dodge beams of sunlight, falling stars, and lightning bolts! Flowey can even take fireballs to the face without much damage!

Junko: Due to having the ability to retain his memories through RESETs, Flowey is incredibly clever, being able to manipulate many of the game's characters into doing exactly what he wants, even across different timelines, due to living out almost every possible outcome and knowing exactly what certain individuals will do. He has decent combat experience as he has killed almost everyone in the Underground, even if most of them were easy targets

Kokonoe: Clever, manipulative, and smart... but his most important benefactor is his determination.

Junko: So what, power of friendship and all that shit?

Kokonoe: Not exactly. Determination is more than just an aspect of someone's personality. It can even strengthen a Determined SOUL, more so if even more Determined. Basically, the more determined Flowey is, the stronger he becomes. Normally only humans can possess such power, but Flowey can use it since he was injected with it during his creation. Those with a high enough level of determination can save and load the game.

Junko: ... Okay, you've already lost me.

Kokonoe: In the world of Undertale, save files aren't just simple game mechanics, but entire timelines that one can have access to. With this ability, Flowey can pause and save just like in a video game. Even if he dies, he can just go to a different timeline and start all over again. He can even delete save files, which is the equivalent of erasing entire timelines from existence.

Junko: Yeah, don't let this smiling flower fool you. Even his "Friendliness Pellets" are incredibly dangerous. 

Kokonoe: These little white seeds are called Friendliness Pellets to trick anyone foolish enough to touch them. Flowey can conjure and fire them at will, preferring to surround his targets with unavoidable rings of bullets that slowly converge in on them to kill them.

Junko: And that's not even his true power! After getting six out of seven human souls, Flowey can grow into the monstrous form known as Photoshop Flowey... or as fans like to call him... Omega Flowey!

Junko: What the hell is that?!

Kokonoe: In this form, Flowey's power over timelines becomes almost Godlike. He's perfectly capable of things like overpowering Frisk's determination and erasing all of his SAVE data, replacing it with his own, effectively destroying and replacing entire timelines.

Junko: create multiple SAVES at once and LOAD them during battle, letting him form any spot he wants if he screws up! He uses this to disorientate opponents by sending them back to a previous location without warning. And if he dies, he can just reset and restore to full health.

Kokonoe: His bullets are faster than they ever were before and he can even fire giant lasers out of his... weird-looking mouth. 

Junko: His control over plants is also increased. He can conjure snake-like cacti to chase targets, fire a barrage of thorny vines to impale his foes, and create Venus Flytraps that suck people toward them.

Kokonoe: He can form flamethrowers on his arms and summon finger guns that literally fire their fingers as ammo. If he wanted, he could even launch tons of nukes down on the battlefield.

Junko: Like the ones Kokonoe has in her lab!

Kokonoe: Yeah, like the-... hold on, how do you know about that?

Junko: I even have the detonation button right here!

Kokonoe: ... ... ... I'm starting to wonder if it's really Monika I should be worried about...

Junko: I have no regrets!

Kokonoe: Back on the topic at hand, Flowey can also use the six human souls as weapons.

Junko: He can use all of them except the red one since that's the one he was never able to retrieve. 

Kokonoe: Each soul has a different ability. The light blue soul summoned a bunch of spinning knives, the orange soul summons several rings of spinning hands that expand outward to hit the target, the dark blue soul limits the foe's movement with a border of stars while ballet shoes repeatedly rise up and stomp down on them, and the purple soul summons rows of books that fire negative words at the opponent to attack them.

Junko: That one's my favorite! The mere thought of being crushed by even the word despair gets me excited~!

Kokonoe: Right... anyway, the green soul summons frying pans that drop fireballs and the yellow soul summons a giant gun that shoots at the opponent.

Junko: All of this from just an innocent-looking flower! And that's not even his full power! Once he absorbs the souls of the Underworld, he returns to his original self... he returns to being Asriel!

Junko: That's right! We covered this guy before, back during our Overpowered Battle Royal. But this time, we actually have a good grasp of his true power!

Kokonoe: Even when using only a fraction of his power, Asriel's speed, strength, and durability are increased dramatically. He's incredibly skilled at magic.

 Kokonoe: Making fireballs fall from the sky. An ability he more than likely learned from his mother as he can manipulate these fireballs at will.

Junko: He can summon lightning too.

Junko: With a move he likes to call the Shocker Breaker! He summons multiple blasts of lightning from the sky! He even has a stronger and faster version called the Shocker Breaker II.

Kokonoe: And with another move called Star Blazing, he can... you guessed it... summon stars down from the sky.

Kokonoe: Where he calls down a hail of stars before making them explode, releasing a scattered barrage of more stars, before finishing with a giant star that explodes into a massive spiraling cluster of stars. He has a stronger version called Galacta Blazing.

Junko: And then we get to his weapons, starting with his Chaos Buster!

Junko: A cannon that fires a hail of bullets before firing off an enormous laser! The upgraded version, the Chaos Blaster, shoots faster and harder to avoid shots, and releases a cluster of stars when firing its laser!

Kokonoe: And then here's the Chaos Saber.

Kokonoe: A pair of large swords. Once swung, they can create sparks, which can be used as an attack. The upgraded version is known as the Chaos Slicer. 

Juno: And he still has other transformations like the Hyper Goner!

Kokonoe: Less of a transformation and more of a final attack before he actually gets serious. He turns into a giant goat head and creates a suction that attempts to draw you into his mouth and devour you, consuming multiple timelines along the way. 

Junko: Holy fuck that's a lot!

Kokonoe: And yet it pales in comparison to his final form, truly living up to the name as God of Hyperdeath.

Kokonoe: In this form, Asriel practically possesses complete control over the entire game. His mere presence was enough to affect the entire multiverse and he could easily reset it in an instant using True Reset.

Junko: His strength, speed, and durability are literally infinite! Not even Frisk could do much damage if any at all! He can also summon powerful energy blasts from clusters of energy bolts to giant rainbow lasers!

Kokonoe: But even gods have flaws.

Kokonoe: As Flowey, he grows weaker with every reset of the game, though he doesn't have to worry about this with any of his transformations. 

Junko: He also doesn't have full control over the souls he possesses. Someone with enough determination can get those souls to turn against him, but he doesn't need to worry much about this when at full power and having almost no weakness.

Kokonoe: "Almost" being the key word. See, once Flowey becomes Asriel, he gains something he never had before... a soul. It's because of this soul that Asriel was defeated, not physically but mentally... as reminding him of who he once was will revert him back to his original self.

Junko: And we're not talking about Flowey, but the real Asriel who died all those years ago. The child.

Kokonoe: And that's the important thing to remember. He's not technically evil, but an innocent child who became a flower with no soul. Because of that, he became resentful of the world around him and obtained the power of a God to try and take it over. Only after his downfall as a God did he finally realize the gravity of his actions and regret them, letting Frisk have... their happy ending.

Flowey: Howdy! It's me, FLOWEY. FLOWEY the FLOWER! I owe you a HUGE thanks. You really did a number on that old fool. Without you, I NEVER could have gotten past him. But now, with YOUR help... He's DEAD. And I'VE got the human SOULS! Boy! I've been empty for so long... It feels great to have a SOUL inside me again. Mmmm, I can feel them wriggling... Awww, you're feeling left out, aren't you? Well, that's just perfect. After all, I only have six souls. I still need one more... Before I become GOD. And then, with my newfound powers... Monsters.
