Junko: Long ago, right before the destruction of Planet Vegeta, Goku cried next to a baby! The crying was so goddamn annoying that Frieza blew up the planet, and the baby known as Broly hated Goku for-

Akame: Junko... wrong script.

Junko: Hm? Oh, my bad. Well, imagine being a child born in a pod on Planet Vegeta where King Vegeta came to admire his son, Prince Vegeta. Man, that's a lot of Vegeta.

Akame: Still, it was quite the insult. Prince Vegeta's power level had surpassed many of his age. But then we have Broly, a lesser-class Saiyan warrior whose power level not only surpasses Vegeta's but even surpasses most grown Saiyans at this time. Insulted and worried about the threat Broly could possess-

Junko: He opened his pod and stabbed the baby!

Akame: He banished Broly to another planet...

Junko: He threw the kid in a pod and banished the baby! And Broly's old man, Paragus, totally shit his pants and followed him! 

Akame: Just in time to avoid Frieza blowing up Vegeta.

Junko: The king or the planet?

Akame: ... ... ... Yes.

Junko: Well, two other Saiyans managed to survive the near extinction of the Saiyan race. That being the Prince Vegeta and another lesser-class Saiyan warrior, Kakarot... but you may know him better as Son Goku. Both of them went to Earth and had their own little families. Sure Vegeta tried to destroy the planet but let's just ignore that part. But while Goku and Vegeta were gaining godly power on Earth, Broly didn't get there until much later.

Akame: Right. Broly would spend his years on the isolated planet with his father, who trained him and kept him under control with a shock collar. They would be stuck on the planet for years until they were found by Cheelai and Lemo of the Frieza Force. After speaking with Frieza himself, the two of them would immediately join the Frieza Force and Broly would be sent to Earth where he would be put to the test by going up against Goku and Vegeta. And Broly proved just how strong he really was!

Akame: It's no surprise that Broly is immensely powerful. 

Junko: Not only did he manhandle Vegeta in his Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God forms, he even beat the crap out of Goku! Seriously, he tossed that guy around like a ragdoll, slammed him to the ground so hard he lost consciousness, and slammed him again to wake that bitch up! It was so bad that Goku, of all people, had to run for a better strategy!

Akame: He's even manhandled Golden Frieza for a full hour without tiring and that was before fighting Gogeta in a battle so intense it broke the fabric of time and space.

Junko: He's way faster than light too. He's not as fast as Gogeta but is still pretty fast! His durability is incredible too! In fact, I think the guy tanks more attacks than he dodges. He's taken hits from Goku, Vegeta, and Gogeta! Goku was strong enough to cause ripples across his entire universe in his base form! A universe many times larger than our own by the way. And Gogeta is many times stronger than that!

Akame: Still, Broly may be Goku's version of Doomsday, but unlike his Z-Counterpart, he's far from the devil itself.

Junko: He's like that one guy with glasses trying to become a gentleman or whatever. A total gentle giant whose only friend was a dog. A least it was until his old man blasted that dog's ear off.

Akame: Broly doesn't really like all the fighting his father puts him through. Despite this, he still has a lot of pint up anger that needs to be released. 

Junko: No kidding. Broly's incredibly adaptive in combat, to the point that he learns as he fights. This is how he can hold his own against more skilled opponents like Vegeta and Goku. Oh yeah, and just like any Saiyan, Broly has this natural ability called Zenkai, where you become stronger after a near-death situation. But Broly's works a little differently than that. In his circumstance, this ability is tied to his anger. In other words, the angrier he gets, the stronger he becomes. 

Akame: And just like any Saiyan, Broly can use Ki. A sort of Life Force Energy that resides within every living being that he can utilize in battle. 

Junko: He can fire simple energy blasts, generate energy barriers to protect himself, or even use Ki for some High-Speed Flying!

Akame: Broly can even overflow somebody else's Ki techniques, as seen when he turned Goku's God Bind attack against him by flooding it with his own ki.

Junko: He has a bunch of attacks, like the Dashing Punch which is basically a high-speed punch towards his target. 

Akame: But some of his more notable ones include his Erasure Cannon.

Junko: It's pretty much his signature attack, much like Goku's Kamehameha and Vegeta's Galick Gun. But instead o a big ass energy blast, it's a small energy ball that can fit in the palm of Broly's hand! Once released, this little thing grows in size! He has another variation called the Erasure Blow, where he keeps the thing in his hand and pretty much uses it like a Rasengan or something.

Akame: Then there's the Gigantic Omegastorm.

Junko: Remember when I said the Erasure Canon wasn't a blast of energy and was just a ball of energy? Well, the Gigantic Omegastorm is pretty much turning that ball of energy into a giant energy blast strong enough to clash with Gogeta's Kamehameha!

Akame: He has another energy blast called the Gigantic Breath, where he blasts ki out of his mouth instead of his hands. He can follow it up with the Gigantic Catastrophe, where he shoots a large blast of energy from his mouth before firing a flurry of condensed energy blasts from his hands.

Junko: But my favorite is the Planet Crusher!

Junko: One look at this big guy and you can tell why it's called the Planet Buster! It's where Broly charges a large ball of energy above his head before dropping it onto his opponent! It's pretty much his quicker version of Goku's Spirit Bomb!

Akame: Of course, Broly also has his Gigantic Cluster attack.

Junko: Oh this one is pretty basic. It's basically the Trap Shooter Technique but with a more badass name.

Akame: Wait really?

Junko Yep. Broly just pulls his arm back and with a wave of it, fires a flurry of energy blasts toward the target. But it's nothing compared to the Blaster Meteor!

Junko: Where Broly says fuck it and lets out a barrage of energy blasts from his body all over the surrounding area in order to hit his foe! Because who gives a shit about accuracy if you just attack everything at once?!

Akame: And finally there's the Full Powered Energy Wave.

Akame: Where gathers energy into his right hand, forming a ball of energy before firing it as a large beam.

Junko: It's another one of the moves he used against Gogeta. But we're not done talking about the big guy. I mean, he was sent to take on two guys who could turn into Super Saiyan Gods! If he wanted to catch up in such a short amount of time, he'd need some transformations of his own. And that's where his Wrathful form first set in.

Junko: During his fight with Vegeta, Broly was holding his own pretty well against his base and Super forms, but it was Super Saiyan God that became a problem. So Broly tapped into a state where he gained the immense strength and power of a Saiyan's Great Ape transformation without transforming himself! 

Akame: In this form, he was able to overcome Vegeta's Super Saiyan God form and overwhelmed Goku who was in that same transformation. He even fought on par with Goku's Super Saiyan Blue form... though it still wasn't enough.

Junko: Yeah, despite his power, Goku still had a slight edge over Broly. So Frieza, being the genius that he did, realized that he could close that gap if Broly gets angry enough. Solution? Kill Broly's father!

Akame: After noticing the death of his only Father, Broly finally snapped and unlocked his Super Saiyan transformation.

Junko: In this form, Broly gets a 50x power boost, letting him beat the crap out of Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta at the same time! He completely demolished Golden Frieza and even held his own against Super Saiyan Gogeta to the point that it shattered the fabric of reality itself! And as his rage went on, he eventually tapped into the wet dream of powerlifters everywhere... the Legendary Super Saiyan!

Akame: You could say this is Broly at his peak. With at least a 500x power increase and growing infinitely beyond that, Broly's rage will keep growing and growing until he's almost unstoppable. It took Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta to actually overwhelm and stop the big green monster.

Junko: But almost unstoppable is the keyword.

Junko: Now if I did have to decide what weakness to give Broly it would be... crying babies.

Akame: *ahem*

Junko: Alright fine. In all seriousness, Broly doesn't have too much in the way of weaknesses, but he does have one big flaw. Broly lacks somewhat in terms of controlling his power when in his higher forms, which more skilled fighters can exploit to plan out and overpower him. Even knocking him back to weaker forms.

Akame: This lack of control also results in him expending his ki at a rapid pace, and while he does have an extremely large pool to take from, he could potentially exhaust it all in a prolonged skirmish.

Junko: But you can't say he hasn't grown a bit since his fight with Gogeta. Now he has new friends in Cheelai and Lemo, a training buddy in Goku, and has even managed to gain... some form of control over his powers. I mean, at least he no longer needs to go all berserk when entering his wrath form. 

Akame: And with all his power and energy, Broly has proven one thing. No matter what universe he's in or which version you use, Broly's power is-

Junko: Maximum!

Broly:  It's not right for you to say bad things about him. He is my dad.
