Monika: A long time ago, the earth's own nature was in danger because of mankind contaminating the environment. As a result, Gaia in distress tried to call a celestial body for help, and the one to answer was the Brunestud of the Crimson Moon, the original vampire. With him, they created a mechanism of self-defense for the planet. This mechanism was a set of powerful vampiric beings modeled after him known as True Ancestors or Shinso, that were able to walk in the sun and had the set goal of returning the planet to its former state by being mediators of nature and ruling the planet in their castle, making them the "consciousness of the planet" itself.

Junko: Yeah, only one problem. By the time the 12th century came around, these True Ancestors started to dwindle in numbers all because of their vampiric impulses to drink blood, which came from inheriting it from their predecessor, the Crimson Moon. It was clear by this point that something had to be done.

Monika: And as a result of some Ancestors falling into their impulses and the influx of humans turned into vampires called Dead Apostles, the remaining Ancestors molded a being with the meaningless goal of being the strongest of their kind and slay vampires, this was Arcueid Brunestud.

Junko: It's too bad the Ancient Ones didn't exactly acknowledge her in any real way. Only seeing her as a tool to do their dirty work, making her practically emotionless... yeah, because that won't bite them in the ass at all.

Monika: Well everything was going smoothly until one day, a priest seeking true immortality by the name of Roa tricked Arcueid into making her consume his blood, which as a result would turn him into a super powerful Dead Apostle and steal some of Arcueid's power, making Arcueid fall into her vampiric impulses and go out on a rampage, wiping out the rest of the True Ancestors the moment she returned into the castle.

Junko: Ouch... yeah, should've seen it comin'

Monika: Now all alone as the only True Ancestor, Arcueid would rest in the castle and use the chains to restrain herself, in order to gain some of her power to hold her impulses back.

Junko: And once she woke up, she found out that now-vampire and smooth criminal Roa was causing trouble for the Burial Agency he founded, so she teamed up with them and killed him. But it turned out Roa wasn't quite dead for good thanks to a newfound ability to reincarnate on different bodies.

Monika: Right. So Arcueid would wake up in different eras whenever Roa found a new body to reincarnate and attempt to kill him permanently so she could regain her power back, adapting herself with the habits and customs of each age she woke in through info only then to rest back at her castle once Roa's current host was gone.

Junko: And on her way to killing the 17th incarnation, she was approached by a normal and kind protagonist who... brutally murdered the shit out of her!

Monika: This was Shiki. And after meeting him, she decided not to kill him but to get him to help her kill Roa.

Junko: And little did he know he was helping a pretty a pretty tough chick!

Junko: Arcuied is incredibly strong! Being one of the most powerful chicks in the entire Nasuverse! And yes, that includes the Fate series. We'll get to that later.

Monika: With a single swing of her claws, she can destroy entire buildings, castles, and even the very earth itself.

Junko: Hell, only 30% of her power is the equivalent of 4 Fate Servants. This includes servants like Mash, who helped in destroying a Tree of Emptiness which contained a galaxy. Or even Billy the Kid, who can survive getting shot with energy equal to that of an entire galaxy and maybe even that of an entire universe.

Monika: She's surrounded and crawled out of several steel beams falling onto her, took a blast to the head that could be seen miles away, and stood back up after getting sent flying by Giant Akiha with no injuries whatsoever. She didn't even move an inch after being caught in a magical trap set by Roa.

Junko: And she's really fast too! Dodging lasers and lightning! Her speed is comparable to other top-tier fighters like Karna, who can move trillions of times the speed of light!

Monika: All to show why Arcueid was a vampire you didn't want to mess with.

Junko: As the White Princess of the True Ancestors, Arcueid is by far the strongest and most skilled among them, being an expert when it comes to hunting down Dead Apostles and having extensive knowledge of human magecraft and magical phenomena. She is the only member of the True Ancestors who can hold back her bloodlust with sheer willpower and knows the inner workings of the Dead Apostle Ancestor's powers to such an extent that she can use the remains to heal Shiki. However, outside of supernatural matters, she's rather airheaded, naive, and clueless due to being kept inside Millennium Castle Brunestud for so many years, thinking that school was a place to have fun and hypnotizing the entire faculty into believing she was a student so she could spend the whole day with Shiki.

Monika: And of course, we can't just not talk about her physiology as a vampire!

Arcueid: In the world of Tsukihime, there exist two types of vampires, True Ancestors and Dead Apostles. As a True Ancestor and the strongest of her kind, Arcueid herself can walk on day unlike Dead Apostles casually, and can hold back her vampiric impulses by using her own power. She's also immensely powerful and grows even more so under the night in a full moon, usually fighting aggressively with brute force by using this raw power through her razor-sharp nails, which can also create waves of energy to travel through the ground as projectiles and with her blurring fast speed is able to overwhelm most opponents. Of course, she also has typical vampire abilities such as blood-sucking, which is able to soil even the soul and make undead sensing, which allows her to sense the presence of humans and non-humans.

Junko: Too bad she refuses to drink even a drop of that shit after what happened last time! And of course, we can't forget her immortality, which allowed her to persist as a woman in her 20s for 800+ years.

Monika: Part of that immortality is her healing factor.

Monika: All vampires heal by reversing time to restore a body part back to its original state. Being a True Ancestor, Arcueid's regenerative capabilities should greatly exceed most other vampires, especially during a full moon. For example, Roa has been shown to regenerate as far as his ankles after being cut into pieces by Arcueid, and Nero Chaos could regenerate from being cut in half. However, this regeneration has its limits if Arcueid is cut by conceptual weapons, such as when Tohno cut her 17 times with the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.

Junko: Sounds like something someone would put in their edgy fanfic.

Monika:  Well she has her own Mystic Eyes of Enchantment, which allows her to impose her will onto others through eye contact.

Junko: Oh, so like Luffy's haki.

Monika: Um... if Luffy's Haki allowed him to not only paralyze his opponents but also manipulate and erase memory, then sure. Oh yeah, and she can teleport wherever she wants, even to a totally different universe within a completely different timeline. But what's most impressive is her reactive evolution.

Monika: Aruceid can become increasingly more resistant towards any magic she's experienced, with the only magic she has no resistance towards are ones she has yet to experience. This is to the point that she possesses enough Mystery to resist and nullify most Magecraft in the Nasuverse.

Junko: Including elemental magic, conceptual magic, curse magic, paralysis, hypnosis, heat manipulation, mind manipulation, biological manipulation, and soul manipulation.

Monika: There's also her connection to Nature.

Monika: Through backup from the Counter Force, Arcueid's power will rise to be slightly higher than her opponent's. This notably only works if the opponent is from earth, or if she's fighting while on earth. Additionally, Arcueid can reduce someone's stats to 1/6th of their original stats while she's on the moon. It's also connected to her Marble Phantasms.

Junko: You mean a Noble Phantasm?

Monika: No, it's a bit different. Marble Phantasms are the ability to manifest any vision an Elemental desires into the world, by connecting her will into the world by her connection, Arcueid can transform the world's nature around her or create any phenomena through probability alteration. Arcueid has used this ability to create a vacuum that cut through and left Roa as a massive splatter of blood, or even to grow in size.

Junko: She can use this to summon beams of energy from above or even create a mirror image of the moon from 1000 years in the future and drop it onto the earth!

Monika: She also has a Reality Marble.

Monika: Her Reality Marble, Millenium Castle Brunestud, is a dimension in the form of a castle that Arcueid can take anyone into and her sign of being Brunestud. This is where her ancestor's lair is located, Arcueid can freely take her power in any way she likes without any restriction, from here or outside. Arcueid can additionally summon giant chains to bind or attack her opponents.

Junko: And if she ever wanted to go all out, she'll channel into Red Arcueid!

Junko: Also known as Warcuied and Berserk Arcueid! This is the stat where Arcueid is no longer restraining her vampiric impulse and has become a Demon Lord! In this state, Arcueid no longer is holding back on her opponent and has access to more of her abilities.

Monika: But if she truly wanted to go all out, she would become Archetype Earth.

Monika: The Crimson Moon persona of Arcueid, capable of using the full extent of Arcueid's abilities and holds more authority over the planet than Arcueid typically does in her previous states, including Red Arcueid. Such as the ability to directly manipulate earth's nature in whatever she wanted, like manipulating wind to create a hurricane, directly summoning lava, freezing her opponents, or even the ability to manipulating light to imbue her attacks or fire energy blasts. She's also stated she's capable of granting immortality and can increase her size to become bigger than Earth.

Junko: That's not even the half of it! in this state, she's been compared to Gods like Amaterasu! We just can't escape that Caster Tamamo can we? And she's powerful enough to destroy the entire multiverse! Amaterasu is also stronger than BB, who had control of the Moon Cell and could travel an infinite distance to the 7th dimension of the Moon Cell in seconds! Even her healing factor is superior to the point the concept of Death doesn't apply to her!

Monika: But that doesn't mean she can't be beaten and does have her flaws... and no I'm not talking about the anime.

Monika: Arcueid has to use a large amount of her power to seal away her vampiric impulse to avoid becoming a Demon Lord, and as such, is rarely ever at full power. External factors that require her to use her powers can make suppressing this more difficult. As for Melty Blood, after getting the portion of her power back that Roa stole from her, she's using 50% of her power to hold back her vampiric impulse, and thus, is normally at half her full power.

Junko: There's also the fact that conceptual weapons that she hasn't experienced yet can nullify her time-reversing regeneration, and if they have an ability similar in nature to the Mystic Eyes of Death, they can cut off her connection to nature entirely.

Monika: And yet getting it cut off by Shiki was probably the best thing that's ever happened to her. The two of them would go on many dates, going to theaters, restaurants, and arcades while building more of her own identity and emotions as a result of finally discovering the world. Just as Zelretch once foretold after fighting for so long as a weapon and resting for centuries, Arcueid experienced the joy of humans.

Arcueid: This is my world. Although it can only exist for one night like yours, there is no world I cannot make.
