Monika: Some monsters are cursed with power and some monsters simply crave more.

Junko: It doesn't matter if you're sweet and innocent or hot and spicy, you already know what path you're on!

Monika: Arcueid, the Golden Princess of Tsukihime.

Junko: And Morrigan, the Makai Noble Darkstalker.

Monika: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

It was the middle of the night in a small European country. A man was running away from none other than Morrigan Aensland. 

Man: Dear god no! Get away from me!

The man ran into a dark alley as Morrigan flew down to greet him.

Morrigan: Why so scared? I just want... a little kiss~

She kissed him on the lips, draining him of his life energy until he was nothing more than a skeleton. She then dropped his corpse and licked her lips.

Morrigan: Now then, what does the last True Ancestor want with me?

She looked behind her to see none other than Arcueid Brunsted herself. Her red eyes glowed in the shadows.

Arcueid: Simple. I think it's better to get rid of you now before you cause any more trouble.

Morrigan: Oh is that so? Then I would love to see you try~

Arcueid dashed at Morrigan and swung her claws. Morrigan blocked her strikes with her wings and knocked her back. Her wings then turned to spears and stretched out to try and strike at her. Arcueid dodged them before them as Morrigan shot a flaming bat at her. Arcueid swatted it away and it blew up beside them as she swung her claws again, creating a massive shockwave. Morrigan flew up to dodge them. She looked down on Arcueid above all the buildings and smiled. 

Arcueid: Not getting away that easy!

Arcueid jumped up in the air and swung her claws at Morrigan, but Morrigan dispersed into a swarm of bats, flying around Arcueid before Morrigan kicked her back into the ground, creating a massive crater. Arcueid dragged herself back to her feet and Morrigan flew down, sitting on a swarm of bats.

Morrigan: Come on now, don't tell me that's all you've got. This isn't nearly enough to get me excited.

Arcueid: Oh, you haven't seen anything just yet!

She took a massive chunk of earth and threw it at Morrigan. The Succubus turned into a swarm of bats to dodge it and reappeared behind Arcueid, firing a flaming skull at her. She swung her claws and it blew up in her face.  She then jumped out of the debris and went for another strike, only for Morrigan's wing to turn into a blade and stab her in the chest. Before Arcueid could fall to the ground, Morrigan grabbed her by the neck with her hair. She used the rest of her hair and whipped Arcueid all over her body before tossing her to the side. 

Aruceid caught herself and dashed back at Morrigan, swinging her claws. Morrigan grew claws of her own and swung them as the two clashed several times, creating shockwaves around them and slicing through buildings around them. Morrigan turned her leg into a drill and went for a kick but Aruceid blocked it as the drill shredded her arms and splattered blood everywhere. Morrigan then kicked her away before laughing. Aruceid looked up at her getting a bit annoyed.

Morrigan: Oh you look so cute when you frown. I'll suck the life right out of you~

Her wings turned into rockets and she flew at her before grabbing her by the neck and sending her through several buildings. Arcueid kicked her off and slid on her feet. She looked up but Morrigan was gone.

 Arcueid: What? Where did she go?

She sniffed the air.

Arcueid: The shadows?!

She turned around only for her to be stabbed by a shadow. It disappeared as Morrigan emerged from it.  Her wing turned into a blade and stabbed through Arcueid's stomach.

Morrigan: How pathetically weak. Hm?

Aruceid pulled the blade out of her and lifted up Morrigan before slamming her into the ground and throwing her into a clock tower.

Aruceid: Playtime's over!

As her wounds began to heal, Arcueid unleashed a giant blast of light down onto the clock tower, blowing the whole thing up. Morrigan flew out of the aftermath of the explosion.

Morrigan: Cute and strong hm? This might be more interesting than I thought~

Morrigan dashed at her and swung her claws, but Arcueid caught her arm. Her eyes changed and she smiled. She had become Red Arcueid. Morrigan acted quickly and created an Astral Vision of herself behind Arcueid. They both stabbed through Arcueid's body, forcing her to let go as they jumped back. Aruceid dashed at her and Morrigan quickly used the Reality Gem to turn the ground to ice. Aruceid slid toward Morrigan, who swung her claws. She missed as Aruceid teleported behind her and swung her claws. Morrigan teleported behind Aruceid and went for a kick only for Aruceid to teleport behind her and go for another swing of her claws. Morrigan dodged it and flew into the air only for Arcueid to teleport above her and grab her by the face.

Arcueid: Die!

She smashed her face into the ground creating a massive crater. She was about to strike Morrigan's body but the Succubus used the Reality Gem again to summon a huge blast of electricity from the sky right onto Aruceid's back. Morrigan turned into a swarm of bats and reformed in front of her.

Morrigan: Try again next time girl.

Morrigan winked and pissed Aruceid off further.

Aruceid: ... Millennium Castle Brunestud.

A bright light glowed as they ended up somewhere else entirely. Morrigan looked around surprised.

Morrigan: A castle?

Arcueid: A Reality Marble...and the place of your grave!

Aruceid summoned massive chains to strike at Morrigan, who quickly flew around the castle to dodge them. She fired missiles from her skin at the vampire who dodged them all. Aruceid caught one of the missiles and threw it back at Morrigan, who kicked it away and let it blow up behind her. She then fired a flaming skull at her. Arcueid jumped back as it blew up in front of her. Morrigan then flew at her and went for a kick. Arcueid dodged it and sent more chains at her but Morrigan summoned a barrier to block the chains. She dashed at Morrigan and kicked her out through a window. Morrigan flew into the air and landed on the roof of the castle. She went to catch her breath.

Arcueid: Not getting away that easily!

Morrigan looked up to see Arcueid coming down and swinging her claws. She blocked them with her wings and pushed Arcueid back. As soon as Arcueid landed, Morrigan dashed at her and turned her wing into a blade. She swung the blade but as soon as Arcueid looked into her eyes, she froze in place.

Morrigan: What? Geh... I can't... move...

Arcueid: As I said, this will be your grave. Blut Die Schwester!

Arcueid summoned a mirror image of the moon from 1,000 years in the future. She had a bunch of chains wrapped around it as she was bringing it down towards Morrigan.

Morrigan: Geh! Silhouette Blade!

 Morrigan summoned Lilith, who immediately flew up and sliced the moon in half before blowing it up.

Arcueid: What?!

She landed in front of Morrigan, who used the Soul Stone to get her body moving again. 

Lilith: To think it would be me saving you this time huh, Morrigan?

Morrigan: This vampire is tougher than I thought. Let's end this!

Arcueid sent chains after the two of them and they both flew at her dodging them. Lilith's clothes turned into green bats that swarmed around Arcueid and blew up on contact. Arcuied blocked them as Lilith flew past, but Arcueid caught Lilith's leg and slammed her into the ground. Morrigan then flew at Aruceid as her wings turned into drills and she sent them through Arcueid's chest before flying into the air. 

She was surprised to see Aruceid was still standing as she turned one of her wings into a massive claw and swung it. Arcueid dodged it as Morrigan landed on the ground and fired a flaming pumpkin and skull. Arcueid blocked them both and Lilith jumped back to her feet, flying at Arcueid and going for multiple strikes. Arcueid grabbed her face and slammed her into the ground before throwing her away as Morrigan flew above them and used the Reality Gem to unleash a giant beam of fire onto Arcueid that destroyed the entire castle and had it collapse on top of her. 

Arcueid recovered quickly, coming out of a bunch of rubble. She looked up as Lilith hit her in the head with an axe kick. Lilith then jumped to Morrigan's side, who blew a kiss at Arcueid. The curtains then closed as only flashes of the... activities Morrigan was doing to Arcuied could be seen. 

Once the curtains opened back up, Arcuied was on her knees as Morrigan stood above her.

Morrigan: I have to admit... you were more fun than I thought~

Arcueid swung her claws, but Morrigan caught her arm and grabbed her by the neck. 

Morrigan: I had my meal. Now it's time for dessert~

She lifted her chin and kissed her on the lips, absorbing her life energy. Arcueid was starting to go much more pale. She realized she needed to act quickly and used her claws to slice Morrigan's arm off.

Morrigan: Gah! 

Morrigan quickly got back as Arcueid burst with power.

Morrigan: Tch! Lilith!

Lilith: Right!

Both Morrigan and Lilith fused allowing Morrigan to go into her true form. Morrigan used the combination of the Soul Stone, Reality Stone, and her Shapeshifting ability to regrow her arm as she looked up at Arcueid's new form. Aruceid had become someone else entirely. She had become... Archetype: Earth.

Archetype(Earth): My oh my, you're really causing me a lot of trouble. 

Morrigan: I can say the same for you.

 Archetype(Earth): Then let us end this farce~!

Archetype(Earth) flew into the air and summoned a giant wave of lava down on Morrigan, who quickly created a barrier to make sure the lava didn't touch her. Archetype(Earth) then summoned a massive ice spike to fall onto her. Morrigan flew into the air to dodge and turned her arm into a blade. Archetype(Earth) created a sword of light and swung it, causing them to clash and make a shockwave of wind around them. Archetype(Earth) took the wind and made a large pillar that dropped onto Morrigan and sent her falling down. Morrigan caught herself before she could hit the lava below and flew above it while Archetype(Earth) sent light projectiles down at her.

Morrigan was dodging them all as explosions erupted around her. She flew into the air as her wings turned into a massive laser, blasting a huge beam of energy at Archetype(Earth). A smile formed on her opponent's face as she held her hand up and unleashed a massive energy beam of her own. Archetype(Earth)'s blast immediately overpowered Morrigan's and engulfed her entire body, but Morrigan made a barrier that blocked the blast and flew towards Arcueid. She turned her wing into a blade and swung it, but Archetype(Earth) created a massive hurricane that sent Morrigan flying into the air. Morrigan didn't give up. She flew past all the wind and went to swing again, only to be caught in a vortex that cut her all over her body. Archetype(Earth) then summoned chains that stabbed through Morrigan's body. She grew in size while trapping Morrigan in a big blue box. She held the box In her hand and crushed it before blowing it out of existence along with Morrigan herself.

Archetype(Earth): And... done.

Junko: Damn... that was hot.

Monika:  It is true that Morrigan was much smarter than Arcueid and could easily overwhelm her wider variety of abilities and techniques. It's not like Morrigan didn't have any way of winning either given that her kisses can even kill an alien made of Solar Energy. But at full power, Arcueid had more than enough to pull out a victory.

Junko: Yeah, her Reactive Evolution made sure nothing Morrigan would throw at her could work twice and that damn healing factor really put Morrigan in a pickle. We could also argue that Morrigan's Infinity Gems give her near-limitless strength, but Arcueid's connection to Nature made sure she was just as strong no matter how strong Morrigan made herself. 

Monika: In addition to all of this, Archetype: Earth pretty much sealed the deal. At her full power, Archetype: Earth is compared to gods capable of threatening the infinite Nasuverse, which is a power that Morrigan has never shown even in her true form. Morrigan had a lot of tricks up her sleeve and could have finished it early in Aruceid's base form, but Arcueid's own tricks were too much and Morrigan got her treat.

Junko: Hey, it's way too dark to take my puns. I would suck your life out, but next time is one to stalk.

Monika: ... That didn't even make sense... the winner is Arcueid.

Winner: Arcueid Brunstud

-Connections: Demonic heroines/anti-heroines born as one of the powerful members of their dying species (Succubus and Vampires). Both hail from a royal family bloodline who raised them with the upbringing to be princesses who rule over the supernatural beings to preserve order and stability (The Aensland family and The True Ancestors family). Both were to be heirs next in line to rule and take over their family's responsibilities due to the unfortunate death of a previous family ruler. Known for their playful and carefree natures; being full of life, but have a deep sense of love and care for humanity. Both often choose to wanna keep running away from the heavy burdens of their family duties due to wanting to explore the wonders of the world and fulfill their curiosities, but when the time comes when they're most needed; they are more than ready to carry out their obligations to the family bloodline. The terrifying potentials of their powers are sealed away, fearing that it could destroy all worlds which they slowly recover over time and learn to control. Both have a second personality of theirs who is part of their unkept power and gained a conscience of their own whom they confronted to settle matters with them once in for all (Morrigan's confrontation with Lilith before finally accepting her as someone who is part of her thus she slowly fades away and Arcueid confronting Archetype Earth to stop her when she threatened to destroy everything she came to love on earth)
