Incessant typing
Like skeletal bones hitting
Decrepit time keys

The last time I play
White noise radio at bed
Tapping in my head

It woke me up queer
That freakish noise from my stand
Who floats beside me?

Have the dead come now?
Stop your tapping! Go away!
Damn white noise haunting.

It's always 'interesting' when your writing is inspired in some strange but true way, like this one. Being woke by a bizarre white noise 'song' in the middle of the night certainly qualifies. Getting back to sleep after this kind of happening is "interesting", too. Good thing I'm a writer and can use this stuff in my work.
