Cliché #99: the key to the house is always underneath a flower pot

I walked up to the front door, reaching down to move the flower pot and grab the house key that I hide there. I'm so smart for coming up with such a clever, original hiding spot!1!1

Ok, but does anyone actually do this in real life?? I would be way too paranoid to leave my house key under a fucking flower pot
