I groaned and slammed my hand on my alarm clock. Ouch. I sat up and batted my beautiful long,thick eyelashes over my big blue eyes as my long, wavy, bouncy locks fell into place and-

Why is this such a common thing on Wattpad? I mean all the stories that I have read have this.  First off, iPhones have alarms too! You don't need to use those old clocks.And even if you use those you can always change the tune. It shouldn't always be the annoying BEEP BEEP BEEP sound. If this alarm clock and its sound is in any way related to the plot then good! Go right ahead.I won't stop you! For example,I was working on another book as well;Demigods Survive High School and in one of its chapters I mentioned the alarm clock because a girl(Calypso) was shutting it off and she was trapped on an abandoned island for 3000 years and this was her first time out in the mortal world so it was kind of necessary to the plot. But like in the example I gave earlier some times these alarm clocks just DON'T MATTER! Yet people stretch those 30 seconds it takes to stop an alarm clock from beeping into half a chapter! I don't know why they do this! If they ran out of writing material just look at other random stories or fricking READ THE BOOK for ideas! Some people don't even read the book before writing! But I'll get to that in the next chapter.

Anyways,you can always use your phone for an alarm clock and if your character doesn't HAVE a phone for some reason then change the motha effing tune!
