Tell us a little bit about yourself

I'm from Peru, I had lived in the US for six years and I've been living in Brazil for other six years. I am a mother of two boys. I am an ESL and Spanish teacher. I love writing and love Wattpad so much that I had just become an Ambassador to give back to the community all that Wattpad has given me.

What genre do you write in? Why are you drawn to the genre?

Fanfic because my biggest inspiration is actor Jamie Dornan and Young Adult Fiction

What is your most memorable moment on Wattpad?

Becoming an Ambassador, it was three weeks ago. I had been training very hard when I got a message saying that I had made it :)

Do you think that writing on a platform such as Wattpad has helped you grow as a writer?

Oh yes! I didn't even know I had a talent as a writer before Wattpad! The readers make all the difference with their feedback.

What advice can you give to those that are just starting out on their online writing journey?

Don't give up! Your story needs an End.

What books have most influenced your life most?

A Hundred Years of Solitude and The Diary of Ann Frank

Recipe Name: Pisco Sour

Is there a special story behind the recipe? If so can you tell us a little bit about it?

The pisco sour cocktail, invented in Peru around 1900, uses a pisco (Peruvian grape brandy) that has a bit of bite to it--that is, nothing too smooth--to create the balance in this creamy, frothy, limey drink. Chilean would say it was them who invented it but the drink is as Peruvian as Ceviche.

Ingredients

1/4 cup (2 oz.) pisco (see notes)

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 teaspoon pasteurized egg whites (you won't taste it, I promise)

Directions

In a blender, whirl 3 ice cubes, pisco, sugar, fresh lime juice, and egg whites. Whirl until smooth (you'll no longer hear the ice cracking against the side of the blender) and serve straight up in a martini glass with a dash of aromatic bitters and Salud!
