Tell us a little bit about yourself

I'm from Liverpool in England. I'm a book blogger, mother and avid procrastinator. I also love everything mystery/thriller.

What genre do you write in? Why are you drawn to the genre? 

I writes short mystery/thriller themed stories but lately I've been writing a lot of Sci-fi. I honestly don't know why I'm drawn to that sci-fi, I honestly don't read it that much, but I keep getting inspired to write them.

What is your most memorable moment on Wattpad?

Do you think that writing on a platform such as Wattpad has helped you grow as a writer?

What advice can you give to those that are just starting out on their online writing journey?

The best advice I have ever got was, write a little each day, even if it's only a few sentences, it all adds up in the end.

What books have most influenced your life most?

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

Recipe Name: Mixed Berry Ice lollies

Is there a special story behind the recipe? If so can you tell us a little bit about it?

My dad used to grow raspberries and strawberries in our back garden when I was young and so when it was hot in the summer he used to make these ice lollies. And what better way to cool down in the summer heat than an ice lolly?

Ingredients:

300g of raspberries

150g of strawberries

2 tbsp of icing sugar

200ml of water

Directions

1. Place the berries in a blender with the icing sugar. Add the water and blend until smooth.

2. Sieve the mixture into a jug, discarding the pips, then pour into sections of a lolly mould tray or into individual lolly moulds. Add the sticks or lids and freeze overnight until firm.

3. Run the mould or moulds under hot water to loosen the lollies, then remove from the moulds. Serve immediately.
